"Bross Bagels, Portobello by Sarah Wardlaw. We all know the best bagels can be found in Montreal, and Portobello’s Bross Bagels is bringing that reputation to Scotland for everyone to enjoy. Larah, a proud Canadian, brought Montreal-style bagels to Edinburgh after finding a severe lack of ‘real’ bagels in Scotland. Bross first blessed Portobello High Street with its presence in 2017, and since then has grown another two branches in Leith and the West End. Her bagels are freshly made every night, with maple syrup in the dough and boiled in water laced with honey. Dreamy! The Porty Bagel, as pictured, is the bagel of choice when visiting the area and the original BB location."
