"Tacofino, Gastown by Louder Than Ten. Vancouver has an inexplicably high number of Mexican restaurants, and Gastown has a big share of 'em. There are only three worth mentioning in this hood (and only two for the food). Tacofino is the latest offering on the block.It’s really two restaurants in one. The Cordova St. side is a take-out burrito bar. Great if you need a delicious quick-fix. If you want the sit-down Tacofino experience, you’ll want to go around back into the ominous-sounding Blood Alley entrance. Tacos are the star of the show here. Get at least two with an order of nachos or dips for the table. If it's a weekend, get on the list early, then go for a drink around the corner. They'll send you a text when your table is ready."
