"Ah yes, coffee. We need it, we love it, we must have it. And our new favorite spot for its consumption? Hungry Ghost. The atmosphere is excellent, a calm and relaxing little break from a busy Flatbush Avenue. And their Baristas? Well, let’s just say they’re obsessed with coffee — they’re after the perfect espresso — meticulously preparing single origin coffees, and serving the finest cold brewed iced coffee on tap. That’s right, on tap. It literally comes in a pint glass, and it’s amazing. As is Chef Pete Solomita, who makes an assortment of baked goods on the premises every day. Our favorites include his praline and sea salt brownies, raspberry ginger muffins, date walnut scones, and cheddar and black pepper biscuits. This place just makes the morning commute so much better." - Aki Carpenter & Chris Huban
