"The Fat Hen, Ballard by Brooks Running Global Creative. If you leave the Fat Hen without a full belly and a smile on your face, well we can't help you. This adorable little joint on an adorable little street is staffed by adorable people who will make sure you make it all the way to supper time without needing to snack. Flaky pastries, fresh ingredients, and french press coffee keep us coming back time after time. Just be sure to show up early on weekends, or be prepared for a (totally worth it) half-hour wait."
