On the Grid : Marjan Hill

"Marjan Hill sits at the end of the penninsula of Split. Covered by dense Mediterranean vegetation, the hill serves an expansive recreational park with beaches, trails, museums and the occasional ancient church. I have spent an entire day exploring Marjan, but even if you only have a couple hours, you can still get a beautiful dose of nature. Take a short hike up to Cafe Bar Vidilica to stare at the beautiful city over coffee or continue up for another 20 minutes to the peak where you can take in views of the coast and the islands, especially breathtaking during the sunset." - Leslie Yeh
