The Midtown Greenway is a 5.5-mile recreational and commuter cycling and pedestrian trail that runs East and West through all of South Minneapolis. The trail lies primarily below street level in what was once a Milwaukee Road railroad corridor, and now allows for low-stress, uninterrupted, and traffic-free travel across the city.
