"Long Table Distillery, Downtown Yaletown by Becki Chan & Milos Begovic. Vancouver's first micro-distillery dabbles in a variety of spirits, but specializes in gin. The owners are true gin enthusiasts and they love to share their passion. Sit at the bar to have a chat with them. Fridays are Gin & Tonic evenings, with a food truck parked outside. The G&T may be a ubiquitous drink, but it is so for a reason and no one makes it better. Try the cucumber variety, with the delicious Fever Tree tonic. Cocktail Saturdays are equally fun. Go for the "Dyson Sphere" (pear-infused gin cocktail) or the bourbon-barrel-gin-old-fashioned concoction "Duke". Side note: the distillery is named after a beautiful art installation in the park across the street by Pechet and Robb."
