This late seventeenth-century manor house in Kent was a bit of a find for the production and debuts in the opening episode of season three as the setting for a garden party after the year’s debutantes are introduced to Queen Charlotte, though filming there was very cold and required the art department to add greenery to trees to fake a summery look. - Gregory James Wakeman
