"Built by the East India Company and completed in 1818, this is South-east Asia’s oldest Anglican church and was modelled on a cathedral in Madras. Executed in the Georgian Palladian style, its most striking features are the grand Doric entrance columns and an octagonal steeple. The building has undergone major restorations (after World War II and in 2007) and is listed among Malaysia’s national treasures; its Heritage Centre houses watercolours, ink sketches and photographs documenting the church’s 200-year history." - SilverKris
