"Après la Sieste’s name is no idle promise: this 19th-century guest house just outside of Avignon promises peace and quiet, and follows through with its adults-only policy. With just six rooms and a cottage, it’s vanishingly small, and its contemporary, boutique-inspired interiors vary from the minimalistic to the out-and-out Zen (in the room of the same name, which comes complete with a little Buddha statue and a vast soaking tub).
