"The steel-framed concrete skyscraper that contains the Hotel Warszawa was a marvel of Thirties engineering; today it’s charmingly historical, but what’s inside is ultra-modern even by 21st-century standards, with no attempt made to preserve its period interiors. Instead, it’s a luxury hotel in a high-design mode, containing industrial-style raw concrete and exposed ductwork in the public spaces, and warm textures of rough wood in the rooms and suites.
