"Savor the Neapolitan-style pizza with a side of vegetables kissed with char from the wood-fired oven at Anello. Pizzeria Bianco alumnus Scott Girod showcases seasonal, local ingredients beautifully in a minimalist fashion, matching the minimalist interior. The building doesn’t have any sign or window decal, but keep an eye out for the red bar of light above the window." - Jackie Tran

As always, solid entry’s by the Anello team! If you’re planning on heading here, give them 24 hrs or so for reservations or grab a pizza or two at the alley window and head over to the brewery across the ally for some beers! Come early, they sold out of pizza dough(s) on Saturday night by 7pm….

Great food with nice texture. The taste of the pizza on real wood fire was great. The deserts were not too sweet and right amount of competing textures to them.

The 1st EVER pizza that captures umami! Excellent ingredients, textures and flavors. The team puts some real (nuanced) heat on and around the sourdough crust - no fear of “the char” by these guys. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with the heat of the stone oven not overwhelming the heat in the air of the dome, great talent and skills by the pizzaiolo. From the strong sourdough crust up through the toppings there was a flavor that exceeded the blend of items. GF desert was a nice meal topper offer.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Our waiter Crockett was wonderful. The beet salad was one of the best I've ever had. The Verde pizza was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I can't say enough about this spot, very demure :) I stumbled across this location because of another review and after seeing their pics I had to try them out. You know a place is going to be good when there are no signs outside and the menu is small. I said good but it was phenomenal!!! Crust was perfection and the marinara was absolute FIRE! If you are in Tucson this is an absolute MUST!

This place is flawless. A cute like spot maybe 12 -15 seats. The staff was super kind and pleased to serve. We ordered the focaccia starter and a marinara with pepperoni. The starter was light and sweet with a good flavor. The pizza sauce is so robust and tangy. Such a filling light meal. The atmosphere was also amazing. We got to watch them making the dough and Pizza on a rainy afternoon with the window open. The experience has me wanting to go back very soon.

Delicious pizza, focaccia, salad AND HOUSE MADE soda! This place had great music, greats VIBES from the staff and a clean modern interior with that beautiful old exterior. Don't let the loud avenue outside distract you from the beauty inside! Will come back!

Anello Pizza is hands down my favorite spot for pizza and one of my favorite restaurants in general! I ate there recently, and as always, the food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Their attention to quality ingredients truly sets them apart. One thing I especially appreciate is their well-curated wine list—good wine is a must for me, and Anello absolutely delivers! I was thrilled to find a true orange wine with beautiful notes of stone fruit and honeysuckle—it was so delicious, I can’t stop thinking about it. Pairing it with their Verde pizza was absolute perfection! If you haven’t been yet, this place is a MUST-TRY! I’m already looking forward to my next visit! 🍕🍷✨
