17 Restaurants to Try Near the Fremont Street Experience

"The aptly names Bacon Nation offers all sorts of BLTs, bacon-wrapped jalapenos, and bacon-centric diner favorites. Even better, this 24-hour restaurant has plenty of seating for dining in, but you can also place an order and pick it up inside a heated or chilled locker if you’re on the go." - Eater Staff, Janna Karel

Why Bacon Still Has a Grip on Restaurants Everywhere | Bon Appétit

"A 24/7 bacon-themed Las Vegas restaurant that opened in October 2022, offering spectacle-driven dishes like French toast piled with caramelized bananas, peanut butter mousse, and bacon and a Reverse BLT held together by latticed bacon 'bread.' Despite the novelty items, the top seller is a straightforward signature of thick-cut, crisped bacon offered in 13 flavored varieties (including maple, everything bagel, and Tajín); demand was so strong after opening that the kitchen had to rush resupply, and the concept appeals particularly to tourists seeking late-night, over-the-top Vegas fare while still delivering restrained, well-executed bacon preparations." - ByAli Francis

Nice spot in the D. Coke products. They cannot split payments, so plan on that. Prices were similar to a Dennys or Perkins. Big portions, and delicious. Good came out quickly, which was very appreciated. They have large coffee cups, great for the coffee addict in the family. Flavored creamers as well! It has a nice vibe, subway tile and brick, pretty laid back. It’s a good spot for breakfast for sure!

Very mixed feelings about our experience at Bacon Nation. On one hand we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant (similar experiences in other reviews), but once we were seated the service was fine. Our order was taken and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. I had the bacon nation burger - very tasty and the thick bacon was a great compliment to a nice thick burger - however, that was the only bright spot for our meal. They will nickel and dime you for each and every last thing - side of ranch is a charge, an extra pickle spear is a charge, etc. Nothing comes with your purchase. We ordered a piece of the signature thick bacon to try and were highly disappointed that for $5 per slice all we received was basically fat with a little meat and it was nothing special. My friend ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which should be renamed the crouton wrap as it had so little chicken and was chocked full of croutons - not worth the price. Even though the burger was good, I will not return nor recommend this restaurant in a town known for excellence in dining.

We expect a long wait for a seat, and know that the service is slow. What we didn’t expect was terrible food!! We both got steak and eggs. The eggs were good….both our steak orders were medium and came out well done, that happens, but they were not even chewable. The is the first time I have experienced rubbery potatoes The good things is that eliminates one decision of where to have breakfast on the next trip Oh, the manager took 20% off the bill, so essentially we each paid over $20 for eggs and a piece of toast

Overall experience was horrible. I came in hungry, left hungry. Gross and cold. Old potatoes made who know when. The lady who sat us was nice and the waitress was great too. It was pretty empty in there that should've been the first sign.

Superb customer service!! Someone referred me to this restaurant. Food was so delicious. The 3 pigs bacon was amazing. Antonio the manager made us feel so welcomed and he made sure that we were taken care of. He went around to every table and checked on each patron. Our server Mabel, was very attentive and friendly as well. I will definitely go back to Bacon Nation when I travel to Vegas.

If you need food to survive, then eat here otherwise spend your money somewhere else for great taste and enjoyment! I’ve been here 3 times and finally decided to write this review because the place just does not get better. My last visit was 11/9/24 around 10 am. Super busy and may have been short staffed. The food looks good but lacks flavor. It’s never hot! Served room temperature. Staff is slow and not attentive! Thick cut flavored bacon is disgusting! Why not have a thin crispy option? Even the mimosa was bad! I have had good oatmeal here before but the next time I ordered it, it wasn’t consistent! The menu sucks. Please do something different!

Bacon Nation has opened its first location in Las Vegas on Fremont Street ( inside The D Casino & Hotel). It’s definitely a HIDDEN GEM in The D casino & hotel. It is THE BEST bacon that we have ever tasted!!!! This is a perfectly great breakfast/ lunch place. They have added a bacon to several traditional items on the menu and it’s a perfect blend of taste. ( but there are some other menu items that doesn’t have bacon too . ) We have tried several different items on the menu and everything was delicious. ( it’s so hard to choose the best one) . Freshly prepared and tasty 😋. So flavorful !!!! The portions are generous, so bring your family and friends and get some bacon 🥓!!! The restaurant is decorated with the modern style and cute bacon signs , very clean, new polished nice looking restaurant. Nice and vibrant cafe atmosphere . The staff and the management are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great attentive service!!! You will not be disappointed, besides who doesn’t love bacon!!!

Google
Expect burned toast. One side is burnt. Been that way for at least 6 months. Food tastes good, but service is slow. Said a 10 to 15 minute wait, we waited 20 to 25 minutes. Just long enough to lose more in the casino. No Iced tea available. It seems each time we come, they are out of something. Mabel, our server was nice, just busy.

Yelp
Bacon Nation, located in The D Hotel and Casino was definitely a great choice for a lite breakfast snack and very affordable The breakfast special was $9.99 that included Breakfast special, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 1 sausage and sour dough toast. Now, if one wants to splurge, Steak and Eggs is one the menu for $25.50

Yelp
My family and I were visiting Vegas and we were staying in Fremont, so we decided to check out this place since one of our family members was staying at The D. The wait time wasn't too long, we came twice, The first morning it was only 5 of us, the food was great, service was okay, they never brought us extra napkins when twice. The second day we came as a group of 8 and the wait wasn't long either. This time around the food was still good, only thing was that my cousin order a sandwich with a specific type of bacon and they took 15-20 min to get it back to the table while the rest of the family was enjoying g their food and almost done. My cousin finally got her food but had to ask for a togo box since we were all done. They were very apologetic about it and even comp'd the meal which was nice of them.

Yelp
This was our first time at this restaurant and the food was delicious. We had a party of 8, and since my husband and I end up coming to breakfast late, we end up dining alone. I had a plain omelette with mushroom, with home made potatoes and a Gingerale. I didn't eat the toast. My husband had sausage, eggs, bacon and I gave him my toast and pancake. It was alot of food, but since I don't eat breakfast meat, we couldn't share a plate. But, we're stuffed and we may dine again here while we are in Las Vegas. :-)

Yelp
When you see a place called "Bacon Nation" it's inherently intriguing to say the least. Ever since it opened i wanted to try it.. I went for breakfast so here it goes.... The concept of the café is definitely solid, and I have to say, it was clean and most stylish. However, the service left a lot to be desired. No really. Our water and drinks went unrefilled, and we weren't checked on at all. The only fast part of the service was them picking up the check from us (because it's money ) As for the breakfast itself, it was just okay--truly nothing to write home about. Socks were not blown off by this place AT ALL. I want to try their other options sometime, if it's the same level of mediocrity as this trip then i will consider that my last visit. Time will tell right? How do you say 'mediocre' in "Bacon-ese"?

Yelp
Simple and easy breakfast! Located on the second floor of the D casino. Not very busy when we went, seated quickly and ordered right away!
google avatar

Yelp
My co worker and I saw this and decided to give it a try for lunch. We walked over to The D and followed the signs to the restaurants and easily found it upstairs. We were greeted as we walked up and asked for a name and phone number, apparently they will send a 10% off text for the next visit. We were sat at a booth immediately. I was kind of surprised to see the lunch specials didn't even have bacon on them - that's weird, I'd think bacon would highlight every menu option/ I mean we are at Bacon Nation after all. I ordered a turkey club and my friend had a chicken club and orders a side of tater tots and a slice of thick bacon for us to share. The thick bacon was really the best part of lunch. The sandwiches came with potato salad and you could add fries or tots for $2.50- no substitution. The food came out pretty quick and looked pretty good. However the bacon on the sandwiches wasn't any different than the bacon I make at home and the potato salad tasted like the kind you buy at the grocery store in a big tub. Sadly o wasn't impressed at all with lunch and don't think I'll go back even though the service was good and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. This is a weird comment but the utensils were cheap- the tines on my fork were crooked and uneven. Bacon Nation might be better for breakfast, but I'm not too sure.

Yelp
30-45min wait for breakfast. Kind staff but kitchen slow. Breakfast is supposed to be cheap and fast (for both sides, kitchen and customer). 15min tops. People who had been sitting near me about same time as me didn't get their food til after me, and after a couple who sat after us. Not cool. Not worth the wait to be seated either. And the smoke from Fremont casino permeated the host area so I had a bad headache. The coffee helped. Denny's was faster. There are also other restaurants much faster than this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Yeah we went here since we stayed at the D. Convenient but not worth it. The place is on the second floor in the back but close to the elevators. The hostess sat us at a table and I saw a booth open and asked if we could move. She was busy and we took the stuff over there and when she finally saw us, she said that area was closed. She then said she would let us sit there. Kind of weird since there were people next to us in the other booths. After that it seemed like they avoided us. We didn't get the waitress till a long time later. As if she punished us for sitting where we wanted. I wasn't impressed with the name of the restaurant since I didn't even see that many bacon items on the menu. Nothing special. I got the omelet combo since it seemed to be the best price to get what I wanted. It was 3 eggs instead of 2 with the eggs any style. I wanted French toast which I had to order separate. The omelet was good and so was the French Toast. When she brought out or orders they were wrong. Plus she gave my friend my order since he had an omelet to. She forgot to have his bacon on the side and she had to get some more. Our other friend had a salad and it was just ok. Nothing special just like all the food here. I think this place is nothing to write home about except it's short comings.

Yelp
Went back again with my friend as we had such a good time last time. This time was still delicious food and great atmosphere. The only qualm is what my friend ordered (4 eggs, 2 scrambled 2 over medium) they delivered the food and said the chef didn't want to cook it. My friend verified that the only reason he didn't get it is because the chef didn't want to. The server agreed. Very odd.... Usually you get what you order. Service was fine. Although this location is close, we might hesitate to come back and will probably try to find something just as close and satisfying.

Yelp
Located in the former Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino downtown Las Vegas, this is a nice clean spot to have breakfast. On the particular Saturday morning that we were there, we were seated very quickly. The ambience is nice and clean and friendly and fast. The food was ok. The food was lukewarm when served. Coffee is almost 6 dollars a cup!
google avatar

Annette A.

Yelp
This place is exactly what I expected - food was good, service was good and the restaurant was clean. Coffee was good. At noon we ordered a breakfast sandwich and hash browns, chicken sandwich with tots, and a BLT. Breakfast is all day but we missed the breakfast deal of $9.99 that only lasts until 9am.
google avatar

Yelp
I thought the food at Bacon Nation was really good! I liked how you could get a free thick slab bacon for checking in. I picked the maple flavored one and it was delicious. The food was good - big portions. I liked how they had a lot of options for make your own omelets but they upcharge a lot of the ingredients (you want thick cut bacon, add two bucks!). The portion size was large. I asked for hashbrowns instead of toast and that was a wise choice. We got the garbage salad to share so we'd have a vegetable and that was good. I did kind of expect a higher level of bacon in everything but it was decent. I would go back again.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
Bacon was delish!! Food was Good food but not fresh. Nacho chips tasted old. Lettuce in garbage salad was dry. Waitress was polite & attentive. The restaurant was clean with neat wall decor.
google avatar

Denise L.

Yelp
Hostess was very scattered. Even though we had a reservation, she forgot about us. We eventually were seated and it took a while for the server to come. She took our orders and seemed to have lost some of our items. We had to reorder before they arrived. We eventually got all of our items, but we weren't offered coffee refills until we'd asked. The restaurant was chaotic and no one seemed to have direction. Maybe that's why the chaos level was so high?
google avatar

Yelp
Checked in around 1055 & was told there's a 35min wait. Seated & asked for drink requests. Waitress appeared after and took our food order. It was very cold. I put on a cardigan & was still cold. I should have ordered the bacon pancakes or breakfast bowl because that burrito was ALL MEAT. It's good but halfway through i couldn't finish it.

Yelp
Great breakfast. Second floor of D hotel. Was staying here anyway so figured I'd try it. I didn't want a heavy breakfast away so tried to the 7am to 9am $10 special they advertise and was pleasantly surprised. Good sausage. Eggs scrambled well. Bacon. Toast better than expected, instead of cheap bread it has real seeds in the whole grain bread. Vibe is nice, modern. Service is great. I'd come back.
google avatar

Chrystal R.

Yelp
Literally Waited almost 5 minutes at the host stand. It looked promising the atmosphere was nice. Sooo there's hope right ? Busser who took our drink order was was polite , friendly and on point ! Waitress was slow, absent and completely unenthusiastic. One part of our order was the garbage salad and it was just that. No bleu cheese crumbles asked for two dressings on the side got one and barely any dressing. For the price I'd say you spend $50 on a bag of shredded lettuce, premade pico at the grocery store and try your luck on the slots there.

Yelp
Visited with my children ages 27, 23, and 17 for late breakfast New Year's Eve. Arrived at the D hotel and took escalator to restaurant upstairs. The hostess took our name and stated it would be a 35 minute wait. Noticed many guests walking away when told of the wait times. We sat near the hostess station and were called at 35 minutes. We were given a booth and noted the place wasn't full and the three waitresses didn't seem efficient. Our drink ordered taken by a gentleman, however our waitress didn't take our order for 15 minutes. No apologies for the wait and unhurried. The food was okay, lemonade was a lemon flavored drink! Bacon was thick, but fatty. No bathroom in restaurant, you have to go outside to the casino. Not worth going back.

Yelp
First time to visit restaurant, asked for Decalf Coffee. "We don't have decalf coffee." I have never been in a restaurant that did not have decalf coffee.....ever! I had the Eggs Benedict. Hated the wilted spinach on the bun and the hollandaise sauce was too sour...not tangy...but sour. I won't return.

Yelp
After reading the reviews I almost went elsewhere, glad I didn't. I went mid week and no wait, took 1 min to be seated. Waiter came and took drink order and within 2 min brought drink and took food order. I went for the Mable Bacon French Toast and man did it not let me down. Huge portion and amazing food!! Well done Bacon Nation.. Shelby from Texas

Yelp
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Bacon Nation. We started with the sample bacon plate and were not disappointed. Thick cuts of maple and original bacon! My son loved his pancakes. I got a steal with the daybreak combo, 2 eggs, two bacon, potatoes and toast for $10 if you order before 9am. The service was fast and accurate. Great spot on Fremont for breakfast!
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
Antonio and Shirley took care of me so well. The food wasn't quite right the first time. But they made sure to make it right. Could not have asked for better service and fixing it.
google avatar

Dee S.

Yelp
After being sat- was told 15 took 35? Then brought to a table where you wait longer for the food ? But the meal comes out wrong the first time - made me feel like this was definitely another tables - and it's just that much longer for everyone * where the time adds up - if you would just like to stay in one place for awhile - you've found the spot

Yelp
Located in the "D" hotel and casino. Came here for breakfast and we were seated within 15 minutes. It took another 25 minutes to place our order. Food was average at best. Eggs Benedict had no flavor, the omelette was just okay. After finishing, we waited another 20 minutes until we stood up waiting for a check. There were only 5 tables being serviced during this whole debacle. Never will return to eat here.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast. We received quick and great service. The bacon sampler is a must have !!

Yelp
My bestie LOVES bacon, so we decided to venture away from The Strip to Downtown to The D and try Bacon Nation. Our server was very friendly and accommodating (we were divas and had special requests) We ordered a bacon flight to start, because we were at a place that specializes in bacon We got the original, everything spice and spicy Overall, it was disappointing. The original was just okay, the everything spice was burnt and the spicy was NOT spicy. I did appreciate that it was thick cut bacon though. My friend ordered eggs Benedict with gravy instead of hollandaise and said it wasn't anything special. I ordered a ham steak and hash browns. The ham steak was overcooked and dry. The hash browns were cooked well though. Overall, a very mediocre dining experience. The only thing that saved it was our server.
google avatar

Will L.

Yelp
The good. The food was delicious and served hot and in a timely manner. We would return just for the thick cut bacon sampler alone. The bad. Everything else. We arrived on time for our 10:45 am reservation. There were about 12 people in line and no sign of the hostess. After approximately 8 minutes she returns and apologized for the wait. After getting everyone checked in and telling them all it's a 35 minute wait, she gets to us asked for our name and tells us it's a 35 minute wait. I said we have a 10:45 reservation and she said 'oh, sorry you're late' ... Lol. The reason we were late is because we were waiting on her. Any way, it didn't get any better after that. They were way understaffed and everyone seemed frazzled and acted like we were a burden to them. We asked for the bill and 12 minutes later we asked again, and were told 'give me a minute'. Needless to say we left very disappointed. However. The bacon sampler was so amazing I would risk the poor service just to eat that deliciousness again.

Yelp
Dropped my wife off for jury duty so decided to grab breakfast downtown. Have wanted to come here for a while so this was the perfect excuse. Was pretty empty at 7 am so no problem getting seated. Service was quick, got the Bloody Mary and it was delicious. Had a nice cocktail sauce taste to it, just loved it. Got the downtown daybreak special, with a side of pancakes. Came out quick and was really good. Ate it all up. Restaurant is cute inside, breakfast themed pics on the walls. It's not very big and was full by the time I left. The downtown special is only available early, and I heard a few other diners ordering it, it's a good deal. Would definitely come back and will bring the wife next time
google avatar

Yelp
Neat novelty with bacon as the main star located at the D hotel. Started with the garbage salad. It's loaded with everything I love: iceberg lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado, vinaigrette dressing. It could feed two. Bacon sampler with sweet, savory, and original thick cut bacon. Biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage and gravy tots = heavy but pretty dang good. Breakfast burrito = plain, cheese wasn't melted inside and didn't come with pico or crema. Skip this. If you check in on Yelp, don't forget your bacon maple cheesecake. I would come back again to try everything else!

Lee Q.

Yelp
Well, first off, they are understaffed by overworked waitresses. Two for the restaurant on a Monday morning. Limited menu, not much in omelettes, and chinsy on the sausage
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
My wife and I were looking for the best breakfast we could find on Fremont before heading to the Mob museum. Upstairs at the D casino, and is an old diner style. We got a table immediately, and were greeted by our waitress Sherley, she was amazing. There obviously weren't a ton of vegetarian options, so I decided to go with the breakfast burrito and just hold the meat. I asked to replace the meat with jalapeños and she said I couldn't make any changes, but I could add that for an extra price. Not great, but it is what it is. The burrito was solid, and a decent size. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict and thought it was amazing. A little on the rich side, but delicious. Overall I think we paid a little more than I had planned on a Fremont breakfast, but it was good. The star of the show was definitely Sherley though. 7.2/10 would try again.

Yelp
We stayed at the D hotel and saw an advertisement in the room for Bacon Nation. The to go menu is limited and it doesn't allow you to bill to the room or have room service, so we came downstairs to eat. The menu in person has a lot more selection. Shirley waited on us, she was friendly and personable. The food came out fast and was fresh. My steak and eggs hit the spot. The steak was cooked to medium rare the eggs needed a little salt and pepper but was good. My partner enjoyed the double sausage cheese biscuit. Smother tater tots were good. We could bill to the room in person and use our resort credit. I would come back here again.

Raymundo J.

Yelp
Went here last week with my dad and my daughter and we had a great experience. We were greeted by the lovely hostess and she was able to get us a table right away. Our server maria was very attentive of us and our drinks were never empty. Our Steak and wings were cooked just how we like it. Even my 3 year old daughter finished all her food (which is rare).
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
We walked over to get some breakfast. Staff was very friendly. It was very warm inside the restaurant to the temp of almost being uncomfortable. We just got the $9.99 special that was eggs, 1 sausage, 1 bacon and added hash-browns. Food was good. If u check in on Yelp u get a slice of thick cut bacon of your choice free. That was pretty tasty. All in all it was a fair meal no frills, but good. I kind of expected more of a bacon themed menu though. There wasn't a huge selection in my opinion.

Yelp
Bacon Nation, the name says it all lol. This spot is a pretty good breakfast and brunch spot if you are in the D. You really can't miss it if you're coming down the second floor hallway. Got there at 9:00 something in the morning and got seated immediately so there was no issue with waiting. Our waitress was pretty nice and she gave us plenty of time to look at the menu a few times because looking at the menu like this you really want to go ahead and figure out what you want because of so many options to pick from. Even though there were people there. I wanted to try a number of things because we got a hotel credit and I wanted to make sure I burned that credit up lol. We ordered the breakfast bowl which was really good. Eggs cheese potatoes meat, you can't beat that. It's a staple for a solid breakfast. The signature bacon, they have several different types of bacon, whether it be with spice on it or with sweet on it, it's extra but you will be pleased. It only comes in a couple of strips but it's enough to get the flavor profile of it! The strawberry pancakes were good, like diabetic good lol. They put a lot or maybe too much on there I have to scoop some of the strawberry off, but to their credit, you didn't need syrup for these pancakes! I got biscuits and gravy as well, just to try them because why not! They were okay. Nothing right home about but they were pretty decent. Also tried the maple cheesecake. Yes I know it was 9 something in the morning but so what lol lol. That was pretty good.

Yelp
We always love it here but Angel at the front, our server Sherrie was attentive and so sweet, and even Doug the manager walked around to check on the diners. Thanks team for being so attentive to us this place never disappoints.

Yelp
My family and I stayed at the D last weekend and we decided to give this restaurant a shot mainly out of convenience. At first we were a bit skeptical as they are reviewed a bit poorly. We ordered the following: - breakfast burrito - shrimp pasta - chicken tenders for appetizer - 3 rounds of bottomless mimosas The food was great! Everything we ate was really good! Aside from the food, we also received exceptional customer service! I am bummed out I didn't get his name, but he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I don't even think he was our waiter but more the person in charge of refilling drinks. He literally helped us out more than our actual waiter- our waiter was a female with slight curly hair. Wanted to give him a shoutout, my family and I had a conversation with him and he told us he's originally from Santa Maria California and had just moved about 2 years ago and started working at Bacon Nation. We go to Vegas regularly and had never came across the restaurant, we will definitely be back because of the positive experience he provided. People like him should definitely be recognized because they are such an asset to the team!

Yelp
Inside the D on the 2nd floor. Reservations strongly suggested. Great service, friendly and fast. Food selections are good and you can choose to eat healthy here. I loved my 3 egg omelette with chicken breast, pepper Jack, spinach and jalapeño. We also loved their chicken tenders. The breakfast sandwich was good. The maple bacon pancakes were sweet and heavy and if that's your thing then dig in but even our growing teenager was done in by the Maple Bacon Pancakes. We'll be back. BTW the Bloody Mary with bacon was only $10. Most places around sell Bloody Mary's for $15 or more. It's

Yelp
Decent food and fast service. We were in a hurry and there was no wait. Waitress brought our food out quickly and brought the tab right away. I got the breakfast burrito and it was decent. Nothing fancy but I'd come back if I stayed at the D again.

Yelp
The bacon is truly amazing - super think, flavorful, and a perfect texture. The burger it came on was fine - nothing special. The check in experience was poor. We spoke to the hostess and asked for a table for two. Then she disappeared for about 5 minutes less than an eternity. When she came back she said our table will be ready "soon". After all that wait, our table wasn't ready? Another 5-10 minutes past and we were finally seated. The service was otherwise ok. The server was mostly attentive but didn't stand out as someone we'd remember. The ambiance was like a low-end diner, maybe a small step above a Denny's. In Vegas there are so many choices for restaurants. Bacon Nation is an ok choice if you're in the D on Freemont Street and don't want to walk too far away from the Sigma Derby machine (the only reason we came to the D).

Yelp
Shirley, our server was fantastic. She was super personable. We order the lemon pepper, honey Sriracha, maple bacon in the three little pigs platter. The best one here was the lemon pepper, which was unexpectedly delicious. I got the Boarrito which was delicious and chock full of bacony flavor. I highly recommend both of these things in my second visit here. Also who doesn't love unlimited refills on their soda before you've even asked for it! Check this place out!

Yelp
Amazing food. Love the bacon themed menu and decor. The mozzarella sticks were hand made and some of the best I've ever had. Bloody Mary was divine. Gotta try the reverse BLT. Apple pie French toast was the greatest breakfast treat ever. Service was fast and friendly. For sure will be back!

Yelp
This place is buried on the second floor way in the back of the D. Busy too. We got 3 little pigs. Mango habanero, sriracha honey and everything bagel. Well cooked and tasty. Reverse BLT. Good but hard to eat. It's name is no lie. Lots of bacon! The service here is very slow. Looked like there were enough people to cover the amount of customers but it took really long to get anything. Maybe just a one time thing. Ambience was very fast food ish but that is fine. That's what it was!

Yelp
Wow food was good, largest coffee cup I've ever got in a restaurant, ordered biscuits and gravy, options of bacon or sausage or both on top, I chose both and there was a huge mound on the plate. Expect a little wait, also hard to find on the 2nd floor in the D casino, wax in the back, worth the trip

Yelp
After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked for the appetizers and ice tea. They were brought to the table along with my husband's meal. 3 minutes later I was brought the wrong order. Epic effin FAIL!

Yelp
As soon as we walked into the casino and saw a sign for Bacon Nation one of my girls was like "we have to go!" and so, we did. There was probably only an hour or so left until they closed. The place was almost empty. We were quickly greeted and seated. Ambiance here is pretty casual. Nothing stood out to me. I personally was not impressed with the menu and nothing really sounded good to me. We went with the Poutine and the Smores skillet. We had inquired about the French Toast Box...but was told they were out. The Poutine was enjoyed and the Smores skilley was just okay. It was a little dry. There is a check in offer for a free dessert...so ended up only paying for the Poutine. Looks like for a place called Bacon Nation--that they have good bacon as many people have raved about in their reviews. The price for one slice of bacon is $7--which is pretty insane, but to each its own. Not sure that I would go out of my way to return here.

Yelp
A whole restaurant focused on bacon?! We had to eat there! We had to order the bacon sampler...3 thick cut strips of bacon with your seasoning choices that cost almost 20 bucks. When in Vegas, right? My friend ordered the apple pie French toast and I ordered a breakfast sandwich for something savory. The bacon sampler was meh. Nothing exciting. I was bummed. My breakfast sandwich was served with hotel potatoes...all of it bland and boring. The best thing was the apple pie French toast! This big, fat slice of baked French toast with lots of apple pie flavors was delicious! The whipped cream and caramel sauce were a bit much, but it was so good! I'm so glad my friend was willing to share!

Yelp
Excellent crew from back of house to front. Great food prepared with care. We arrived in the afternoon. Clean dining area. 24 hour restaurant in the D. We will be coming back AND staying at the D hotel.
