"This “mini restaurant” is always crowded, as customers pack in to share small plates produced by the tight kitchen. Make sure to try signature dishes like pomme allumettes (matchstick fries) with ramson (wild garlic) and sour cream; pickled cucumber with smetana (sour cream) and honey; yellow heirloom peas with Swedish hard cheese and aleppo pepper; or a skewer of mountain beef with yogurt, sumac, and coriander. Kickstart your meal with a gin and tonic made with gin from Stockholms Bränneri just around the corner." - Per Styregård

"A warmly run, intimate and cosy wine bar that is a perfect fit for Södermalm. The freshly prepared and delicious small plates are designed for sharing and showcase classic Swedish flavours. The three stainless steel tanks contain home-distilled gin – flavours are changed regularly using various herbs, oils or fruits." - Michelin Inspector

"Set just outside the city centre, in a residential block in an up-and-coming neighbourhood, is this lovely little restaurant with a simple homespun charm. It’s run by a passionate young team – with the chefs serving and explaining many of the dishes themselves – and seats just 24, with 4 at the kitchen counter. The 5 course menu evolves from day to day and follows a local, seasonal and sustainable ethos – the owner even hunts and forages for some of the produce himself. Creative cooking sees modernised Swedish classics prepared using some more traditional methods and the Aga and wood-burning oven play a key part. The carefully chosen wine list focuses on lesser-known producers and suppliers from France and Italy." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team

"Perhaps our favorite bites from our time in Stockholm came from this spot – a tiny 15 seat gin-focused bar. Don’t be fooled by the scale or the focus though, Bar Agrikultur has a Michelin Bib Gourmand (the “good value” rating) and serves absolutely ingenious snacks. Some of our favorites were the yogurt and honey-topped cucumbers as well as the potato sticks absolutely piled high with herbs and sauce. Even if just for a drink, this place is a must stop in Stockholm." - Coolstuff Team

A neighborhood restaurant, low key, intimate and comfortable with a fine-dining menu. Food and wine are delicious and occasionally surprising, like the salt-brined cucumber. Make a reservation, eat at the bar, or try to score a walk-in.

I've been to this restaurant several times, and every visit leaves me equally impressed by the quality of the service and the dishes. The staff is always friendly and professional, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. During my latest visit, two dishes stood out. The **game mortadella** was simply delicious, full of subtle flavors and perfectly seasoned. The **vol-au-vent with chanterelles** was also a delight, with crispy puff pastry and fresh mushrooms that melted in the mouth, though I did find it a bit too salty this time. To finish on a high note, the **Basque chasse cake** was the perfect ending. Its smooth texture and well-balanced flavors completely won me over. In summary, this restaurant remains a solid choice for food lovers, and despite that small issue, it continues to surprise me with every visit. Highly recommended!

Had the most amazing dinner in Stockholm last night at Bar Agrikultur! The waitress was really friendly talking us through the menu and recommending a few dishes! Their signature dish: the salt-brined cucumber with sour cream and honey is absolutely stunning, please don’t miss out on it! I absolutely loved the pike perch, which had a beautiful balance of salt fat acid heat! Another delicious dish were the scallops with harissa, yum! For dessert we started by sharing a slice of burnt basque cheesecake, it was so good that we got a second one! The bill ended up being very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we ate! A dinner we will never forget!

We chose this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary based on a Michelin review and online photos. Although it is called Bar Agrikultur, we believed it was a more of a fine restaurant. Instead, it has a bar/pub atmosphere. The music was quite loud. Most of the seating is very close and probably half is outside on the sidewalk. We attended on a Monday night. It was pretty busy but there were a few empty tables. We were offered a high, very small table inside the path of the door. We asked for a regular table further in, but it would seat 4 so we were refused. We were then offered a small table outside right at the door where the service kiosk was and where people were walking through on the sidewalk. This was not enjoyable for what we were looking for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The style is small plates and it was suggested we order 6, which was perfect. The food was very good and was served regularly to keep our meal enjoyable. We had baby corn peas and goat cheese, cucumber and gin, tomato tart, queen scallop, beef carpaccio, and a mushroom dish. The cucumber was the best. A mouthful followed by a shot of ice cold delicious gin. The tomato tart was a close second. The scallop dish included 5 pr 6 small scallops. It was tasty but gritty. All the dishes were very flavorful and a nice sharing size. For dessert we had cheesecake and a blueberry dish. Both were ok. This would be a great place to meet friends for a drink or light dinner.

Cozy and romantic atmosphere, with fantastic food and wines. We tried most of the vegetarian options and were very impressed. The service and wine recommendations were great, would love to return!

An incredible meal with thought-provoking food that makes you feel both at home and sophisticated out on the town at the same time. We had the cheese balls with honey (a must-get), salt-brined cucumber, lettuce, chanterelle, scallops, and strawberry elderflower meringue. Every dish was 5-star worthy. The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. We sat outside just in front of the windows, and it was a lovely atmosphere buzzing with energy but relaxing at the same time. Highly recommend!

Amazing ambiance, great service, and lots of fun dishes to try. The portion sizes and good for a higher end place so you will definitely not be left hungry at the end of the trip. The deer and the pickles were my two favorite dishes.

Lovely atmosphere at Bar Agrikultur! Loved the Gin and Tonic and the selection of small plates, the waiter recommended to get six and it was the perfect balance. The tartare was delicious. I always prefer sitting on the table rather than the counter but it did the job. Would definitely recommend, better if you book in advance :)
