"This lively wine bar is a perfect fit for the neighbourhood. Sit at closely set tables or on high stools either up at the bar counter or next to the window, surrounded by paintings and hunting trophies, including some impressive antlers and a huge wild boar’s head. Order your way through the menu of small plates, which highlight Swedish ingredients and flavours, and feature the likes of cheese balls with garlic honey or pork neck skewer with oyster sauce and chives. Three stainless steel tanks contain home-distilled gin – flavours change regularly, courtesy of various herbs, oils and fruits." - Michelin Inspector

The 38 Best Restaurants in Stockholm, Sweden | Eater

"This “mini restaurant” is always crowded, as customers pack in to share small plates produced by the tight kitchen. Make sure to try signature dishes like pomme allumettes (matchstick fries) with ramson (wild garlic) and sour cream; pickled cucumber with smetana (sour cream) and honey; yellow heirloom peas with Swedish hard cheese and aleppo pepper; or a skewer of mountain beef with yogurt, sumac, and coriander. Kickstart your meal with a gin and tonic made with gin from Stockholms Bränneri just around the corner." - Per Styregård

Zooming In on the One Stars: Sweden

"Set just outside the city centre, in a residential block in an up-and-coming neighbourhood, is this lovely little restaurant with a simple homespun charm. It’s run by a passionate young team – with the chefs serving and explaining many of the dishes themselves – and seats just 24, with 4 at the kitchen counter. The 5 course menu evolves from day to day and follows a local, seasonal and sustainable ethos – the owner even hunts and forages for some of the produce himself. Creative cooking sees modernised Swedish classics prepared using some more traditional methods and the Aga and wood-burning oven play a key part. The carefully chosen wine list focuses on lesser-known producers and suppliers from France and Italy." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team

"Bar Agrikultur is a cozy, 15-seat bar centered on creative gin cocktails and unique snacks. The inventive menu, featuring standouts like honey and yogurt cucumbers or richly seasoned potato sticks, has earned it a Bib Gourmand from Michelin for great value." - Coolstuff Team

Google
Buzzing restaurant with a straight forward menu that showcases delicious small dishes (recommend 3-4 per person) and wine/cocktails. Seating is limited with tables close together. However, it's busy for a reason (went on a Sunday evening!) - highly recommend!

This place came recommended from the Michelin bib gourmand guide, but unfortunately absolutely did not live up to the hype. The food is tasty but the portions are laughably small, the waiters cheekily say these plates are for sharing but they're the size of teacups. What made it worse was that the prices are extremely high for the ingredients you get on the plate, such as a single Persian cucumber some dollops of butter and squirts of Honey for 18 US dollars. Four oyster mushrooms on stick with gravy for 18 USD, or three sadly dry boar meatballs on cream for 25 USD. We really wanted to like this place, but even though we had a reservation made days in advance, when we got there we had to wait forward felt like 30 to 40 minutes before being seated on a wild plenty of walk-ins got seated before us. The impression was if you spoke swedish you got better treatment. To be honest the meal was off to a good start once we got seated with everything tasting good, but the portion size versus price ratio started becoming real dish after dish, and then when the final course came with a 20 to 30 minute wait, and arrived with undercooked potatoes, at a price of 28 USD, we decided to leave this type of review.

This place is amazing for food lovers. But. Be aware. If you are like the German couple next to us, ordering two small dishes to share, wanting re-fill on bread for free. Then don’t go here. Go here for the excellent staff, the amazing food. Enjoy!

Bar Agrikultur was by far the best meal I had on my trip to Europe. Everything was absolutely amazing!!!

Had an amazing birthday dinner here! The cheese balls are a must-try, but also the paksoi with crab was absolutely next level, a fingerlicking delicious dish! Don’t skip the Basque cheesecake as dessert —it’s divine! Only minor downside: the red wine selection leaned a bit too acidic for our taste. But overall, a fantastic experience.

A perfect dinner. If you can’t decide what to eat, just leave it to Ida and enjoy her amazing recommendations. I had the honeyed cucumber, scallop, creamy oyster mushrooms and finished with the sorrel-strawberry meringue. Everything was incredible.

Google
Great service, nice place, good dishes and menu. But it was too salty. Both mushroom dishes and the split peas just had way too much salt. I like salty food. This was too much for what we're otherwise tasty dishes. The salad and wines banged.

Yelp
Came here upon a friend's (tourist) recommendation + saw that it was listed as Michelin bib gourmand. Service was 10/10. Food was honestly just ok, nothing phenomenal. The food portions are extremeeeely small, so the bill adds up really quickly (or get a second dinner like we did). We ordered chicken skewers (1 each), and I noticed that mine was a bit red (raw looking) inside. Our waitress immediately took it back to the kitchen after I flagged it to her, but told us that it was meant to be red (nature of chicken itself). I didn't touch it anymore afterwards since I wanted to err on the safer side, and in the end, she deducted this skewer from our total bill which was extremely nice of her and unexpected. Fav dish was probably the cucumbers with honey.

Yelp
An incredible meal with thought-provoking food that makes you feel both at home and sophisticated out on the town at the same time. We had the cheese balls with honey (a must-get), salt-brined cucumber, lettuce, chanterelle, scallops, and strawberry elderflower meringue. Every dish was 5-star worthy. The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. We sat outside just in front of the windows, and it was a lovely atmosphere buzzing with energy but relaxing at the same time. Highly recommend!

Yelp
(4.5 stars) Dinner here was just so lovely. It was hard to find a restaurant for dinner in Stockholm that wasn't a pre fixe menu but we're so glad we found this one. We ordered pretty much the entire menu. The dishes are really beautifully plated, a little bit different than the standard even for something like mushrooms or potatoes, and the flavors are on point. We were glad we ended with the steak, which was a beautiful medium rare, otherwise we might've still been hungry afterwards. Definitely don't miss the hamachi, the chanterelles, or the scallops!

Yelp
Had such an amazing meal at Bar Agrikultur on my first night in Stockholm. Highly recommend this restaurant. I just went to Saison (in SF) just 2 weeks ago and my husband and I were marveling at how much better this meal was (at a mere fraction of the price). Everything was so tasty - we had the cheese balls, beef tartare, cured pork neck, zucchini with ricotta and mint and salt roasted beets. Service was wonderful as well. Ambiance is very relaxed and they were playing 90s hip hop, my fave.

Yelp
Hey. You. Don't skip on them cheese balls! The dishes at Bar agrikultur are on the edge of fine dining, with that playful carelessness that you can only find in Söder. During the summertime you have the opportunity and pleasure to relax outside and people watch as you enjoy a pretty stellar meal of middle sized plates in one of the coziest quarters Stockholm has to offer. Go with a friend or two... sharing is mandatory (not advertised, just my recommendation cause there's a lot of good stuff to taste :)) Chow down.

Yelp
Beyond amazing.... Bar Agrikultur lives up to its well earned Michelin ratings. We came here twice - in 48 hours - to sample a variety of fantabulous small plates. Herewith, our recommendations: - decadent cheese balls (local cheese with honey, yummmm) - perfectly marinated pork and cheese skewers - shiitake mushrooms - rosemary mini frites - asparagus with straciatella - incredible dry aged sirloin (that's a must have) Waiting now for blue mussels and steak tartare

Yelp
We read about this place, which was recommended in a New York Times article by Ingrid Williams and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The small bites were delicious and unique. The ambiance was friendly in this lively family-friendly part of town. The head chef explained their process for making gin, which has won awards and they are very proud of it. He let us sample a batch for which he collected elderberry just up the road. I highly recommend a visit :)

Yelp
Very friendly service and excellent food (but not the place to go if you are extremely hungry).
