"San Diego is just 20 miles from the Mexican border, so naturally, it takes chilaquiles very seriously. Cocina 35 says they have the “best chilaquiles in town,” and they actually deliver. The La Bomba is a winner all the way from the bottom up: crunchy, perfectly salted tortilla chips doused in a habanero-cilantro salsa, a sprinkle of red onions for a nice zing, and a scoop of tender cochinita pibil with avocado. There are a couple locations—the Otay Mesa, Barrio Logan, and Downtown ones are good for a quick breakfast—but the Liberty Station spot is best for party brunches, club bangers, and sparkler-topped churros for birthdays." - Sabrina Medora

As a concierge who visits numerous restaurants, I make it a point to highlight exceptional locations, and this one truly stands out. The service here is impeccable, with our server, Paul V., going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The dishes were full of flavor, and the drinks were as visually stunning as they were delicious. Every employee we interacted with exuded kindness and genuine hospitality, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and welcoming. It's rare to witness a manager who is so actively involved with both the staff and guests, but the manager with short hair was exceptional (I failed to note her name). She not only supported her team but also ensured every guest felt taken care of. This level of attention to detail and commitment to excellent service is something that sets this place apart from many locations. I highly recommend!!

Google
Super delicious drinks and dishes. Great atmosphere to celebrate any events. Please keep in mind that it is always packed and busy. It is also a pretty loud atmosphere but super fun. The chilaquiles are my favorite, specifically La Bomba, the portions are pretty big and very filling. The drinks were also super tasty. Love this place, but reservations are definitely recommended.

Google
Everything was perfect. We were craving chilaquiles after our trip to CDMX and this place didn’t disappoint. Ambiance is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. There’s lots of options and our group all got chilaquiles, all delicious! The drinks and churros to end were perfect too. Can’t wait to come again! Make sure you make a reservation :)

Google
I’ve been to all Cocina 35 locations, and they never disappoint. Yes, there’s always a long wait, but it’s worth it—especially for their chilaquiles, which are my all-time favorite. On this visit, we opted for takeout and decided to enjoy our meal at the park just a block away. The order was spot on, and they included all the sauces and utensils we needed, which made everything seamless.

Google
Good food, outstanding venue, and friendly service. I would return here for sure. Great spot for brunch. Side note, it's close to the takeoff path for the airport so plane noise is significant. The environment is also festive so not ideal for quiet conversations. Great for group brunch, reservations recommended.

Google
The food here was spectacular and on point! They have the most amazingly delicious chilaquiles AL Pastor I have ever had. The staff are friendly, attentive, and food is pretty quick for the amazing presentations that come out of the kitchen. This is my new favorite place for chilaquiles in San Diego, CA and I will return and bring friends.

Google
Wow not sure where to start but let’s start with service, 10/10 from the hostess to the waitress to the busboy everyone was so nice , friendly and helpful!!! Atmosphere also a 10/10 the decor and ambiance of the restaurant was very nice 👌🏾. Now to the food. To drink I ordered the flight of aguas frescas that was good, for food I ordered the chilaquiles la bomba for me personally that was a 10/10. Also ordered a side of pancakes 🥞 that was also bomb. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Google
Hidden gem! Food is nothing but fantastic and full of flavor!! The servers are attentive and super responsive to your requests! Highly recommend

Yelp
Very aesthetic and good was delicious! 10/10 brunch vibes. Servers were also very attentive

Yelp
My favorite brunch spot in all of San Diego! I'm truly obsessed! First of all this location in Liberty station is STUNNING! I love the huge cherry blossom tree. It's definitely instagrammable. They also have a dog friendly patio. The staff here are so friendly and go all out of its your birthday-- it can get pretty loud. Highly recommend for celebrations. The food & drinks here are absolutely delicious, and they have some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had. I love the Al pastor flavor. SOOO FIRE! if you're looking for something sweet-- the Cajeta French toast is the way to go. Highly recommend making a reservation, especially during the weekend.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this location as I have been to the Downtown location but the service made it a terrible experience. I made reservation for 7 people for Sunday brunch through OpenTable. Checked in and were seated immediately. As we got to our table, the host told me that there is a 90 mins limit. Got it. The server came to get our drinks and food orders (all at once). Our food arrived warm as if they have been sitting in the back for a while. We all got our food but we were still waiting for drinks not even water cups were provided. We didn't have enough utensils. The server never came to check on us and we are constantly flagging people down to ask for stuff. Half way through the meal, half of us got our drinks. I finally found our server to ask for water and to check on the other drinks. She brought out 6 water (we had 7 people) and never came back with another cup or other items asked. We all got done with our food and 2 people still didn't get their flight of drinks. We looked over and saw another table who came way after us getting their drinks before us. The server finally came with it and said the bartender is really backed up. We would believe it if we didn't see the other table getting their flights before ours. We had to finish up with the drinks because we were told that our time was up. The food was flavorful but given it was for a birthday celebration and the automatic gratuity for terrible service, we won't be back. If you don't have a reservation, it is not worth the wait.

Yelp
If I could give it 0 stars I would... The entire experience is horrible, we checked in at 9:30am, they let us know they would put us in for a reservation at 10:30am.. 10:30am came around and nothing, 1hour later around 11:46 we got called in to wait in the 2nd waiting area.. Someone forgot or missed to check us in when we arrived at the 2nd waiting area so we waited an additional 40 minutes, to find out they took us off the list thinking we weren't there.. no one was helpful, they just added us to the bottom of the list all over again.. we spoke to a manager which also tried to give us a run around, finally after going back and forth and arguing and waiting 3+ hours they give us the next table! The waiting area has almost no seating, the environment isn't friendly, people aren't helpful. The waitress never really came around, we had to ask a random server to order drinks and food for us.. Food wasn't great for a 3+ hour wait, it was okay but not "wow this is soo good" kind of food.. Hated the experience entirely! Do not recommend

Yelp
Be prepared to wait if you don't have reservations. Waited 2hrs on a Sunday morning. Food - Many chilaquiles options we had the chicken cremoso which is a chipotle crema. Machaca Burros with pork beans. Sampler options are perfect when wanting to try a few items. Portions are large and shareable Drinks were sooo delicious. Service was wonderful. Ambiance simply beautiful with the tree in the center. I do love when you walk in to see 1st hand the popular items.

Yelp
Very few places are worth a long wait, but Cocina 35 proved its value today! They don't take reservations on the weekends, so plan accordingly! Our party of 5 waited from 10am to 12pm today. The restaurant is super cute with a beautiful pink tree in the interior. The patio is spacious, modern, and clean. Everyone there was friendly and courteous. Elizabeth was our server and she made us feel so welcomed, helped with recommendations, explained menu items, and checked on us regularly. We came to celebrate my friend's birthday and they REALLY hyped it up with fun music, singing, and a slice of delectable cheesecake. To say the food is delicious is an understatement. Their chilaquiles are fantastic and come in a wide range of salsas. Whether you're feeling smoky, creamy, spicy, or mild (I got the tomate to share with my toddler) they have a salsa to fill that craving! I love the sampler platters as they let you have a taste of a variety of sweet and savory options. My husband was blown away by the french toast, extra thin & crispy bacon, and the most amazing caramel sauce! We also downed two big guava agua frescas. Really every dish was a delight and we can't wait to come back again soon!

Yelp
We had reservations at noon on Monday, which for some, most likely a holiday. There was a small line outside but inside it was not very crowded. Service was a bit slow likely because there were few servers? We had to wait a while just to start with coffee and then place our order. However, the food made up for our wait. I ordered the Chilaquiles Al Pastor and it was delicious. My friend ordered Chilaquiles La Bomba and she enjoyed it as well. We ended with dessert Concha Rellena and again it was delicious. Our service was slow, but it was friendly and courteous. Our total spend came to $90 which included two coffees, two entrées and one dessert I would come back likely for a special occasion. It was quite pricey for a brunch menu.

Yelp
A can't miss brunch! Every time I come to San Diego I try to make time to stop by here because the food is delicious! They have a great variety in their chilaquiles, my favorite are the carnitas chilaquiles. The French toast is fluffy and served with a generous amount of berries. The combination plates they have are an amazing chance to try out some authentic dishes that have a ton of flavor and is very filling! My family loves this place. It does fill up quickly on the weekends so expect a wait, it is completely worth the wait and there are ample parking lots. Plus it's a nice area to explore before or after.

Virginia L.

Yelp
We decided to go for brunch and it was such a great decision. I do recommend getting a reservation because it cuts your waiting time by a lot. We checked in and only had to wait 10 minutes while they got our table ready. The aesthetic is super cute and chic. We heard a lot of people celebrating birthdays and they put so much thought into making you feel special! Great for big parties or small gatherings. The food was delicious. It is pricey but I do think it is worth it for a special occasion. They have examples of what the food looks like when you walk in so it's PERFECT if you have no idea what to get.

Jacqueline M.

Yelp
Cocina 35 has hit all the marks -- the fantastic chilaquiles, beautiful interior, timely and kind service, deserts that I regret not trying, and the nostalgia of maria cookies with your cafe de olla. These have been my favorite chilaquiles and I'm so happy to know I can find authentic mexican food here. Don't let the instagram aesthetic trick you into thinking the food doesn't match up. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Venus G.

Yelp
This place is always great. I love this location. The food and drinks are amazing, so many options. The music, the friendly staff, super cute decor.

Myrna G.

Yelp
Food was good as always. I am giving this a lower score as we felt the service was different. After our food arrived, our waitress sort of disappeared. My mimosa arrived halfway through eating. We also ordered a birthday dessert. We were done eating, waited about 15 minutes and when we couldn't find our waitress we eventually decided to get up and pay in the front. They did have the dessert waiting and packed it up instead. I'm not sure if things were different given it was a weekday or if because we sat on the patio.

Marissa P.

Yelp
What a fun brunch spot! This is a very busy restaurant is located in Liberty Station and I highly recommend making a reservation to decrease the wait time. Note that they won't seat your party unless everyone is there. All the food and drinks were 10/10. If you want to try a little bit of everything, I would recommend the sampler plate. There's 3 versions of it and overall it's a mix of chilaquiles, beans, eggs and tamales. The service was ok. I felt like my table didn't see our server for a long time. My girlfriends and I celebrated a birthday here and just know that they do charge for the birthday dessert. The charge surprised us when we got the bill but the birthday dessert comes with the staff cheering you on and the restaurant playing music so I think it makes up for it.

Mena P.

Yelp
Cocina 35 is a really cute restaurant! I love the decor. The food in my opinion was a okay, it's not the most amazing Mexican food I've had but it is still good! The service was good and it seems like this is the place for birthdays because when I was there on a Thursday morning, there were 9 birthdays being celebrated within the span of one hour - the staff would come out with birthday desserts and the loud birthday music kept going off. While this started to get a little annoying, it wasn't an issue for me. Just something to be aware of if you don't like stuff like that. There is also a 90 minute limit, in case you plan on staying longer.

Yelp
I came here for the first time on Christmas Eve. I was able to find a reservation open a couple days before and it was easy for two people. When we got to the restaurant, got checked in, and waited less than 5 mins to be called in. I like how they show you the entrees when you first enter and explained the popular items. It was very pretty inside and bright with the vibrant colors. Obvi the pink tree in the middle catches your eye. We didn't get seated at the tree but close by. We did get annoyed at first bc they seated us next to a group of 2 with their large dog sprawled out on the floor in front of our chairs and the owner wasn't making moves to move their dog and neither the server. The table was small and in the middle. We asked for another table to be comfortable. I ordered the Los Rancheros chilaquiles and my husband got the Sinaloense sampler. Both our entrees were so good. Now I know why their chilaquiles are so popular. They were so flavorful and crunchy! I've been to other places and the chilaquiles usually get soggy bc of the sauce, but here the sauce complimented it well and they didn't drown the tortillas. In the sampler entree, the Machaca was the best part. It was pretty busy for Christmas Eve, but that was expected. Our server was very nice and attentive. She was doing a great job with all her tables. Oh, the cafe de olla was super good and especially adding the sweetener they provided. We would go back.

Tina A.

Yelp
This place is sooo cute!!! The food is Delicious and fresh. The service was amazing, as was the concha's and coffee cart. Make a reservation or be prepared to wait, but it's worth it!

Sheila C.

Yelp
Really wanted to try the place and really wanted to. love it, but there were a few hitches. The drinks were ordered all at the same time, but had to wait extra long for one to arrive, one that was not on the "drink menu". The drinks tasted good, but very light on the alcohol. Ordered our food all at the same time and it was brought our piece-meal. Which meant that whoever got their food first, ate not warm food. It was actually shocking how far apart the meals came out to the table. The food was good, love, love, love the chips they use for the chilaquiles, but one was drenched in sauce and the others lacked sauce. The flour tortillas are to die for, soft, fluffy and very good. The ambiance is very cutsie, almost girlie. Very light and bright, but this seems a place to come for your birthday celebration. About every ten minutes, the music would turn up and there would be singing for someone's birthday. We heard no less than at least 6 birthday celebrations. We felt like we were at a Mexican version of the Corvette Diner. The wait times are insane, even with a reso, we waited. Glad we tried it, but probably won't be back.

Michelle W.

Yelp
- ample parking at liberty station, directly in front of the restaurant is a small parking lot - long wait on the weekends/brunch time so prepare for a wait - beautiful interior and a lively space, staff were super friendly as well - huge portion of chilaquiles with various toppings and flavors - definitely shareable because it can get overpowering and heavy after many bites - al pastor was my favorite out of the two, it was more spicy and the saltiness was well balanced out by the creamy salsa and pineapple

Melissa S.

Yelp
obviously super aesthetically pleasing, which made me have reservations on the the quality of food. I was pleasantly surprised when the food & coffee came, they were both delicious! This place didn't have any reservations at the time so we walked in, took about 1.5 hrs! The good thing it's in liberty station & you can walk around during that time. It was a tiny bit annoying we had to wait so Long but once we got in, it was made up for. We had the cafe olla to start off, it was so good! I was scared it would be watery or flavorless but it was very rich. Most of us tried the chilaquiles and they were great! Again, food expectations were low and they definitely succeeded. Looking forward to coming back again, with a reservation!

Arturo C.

Yelp
Great vibe as soon as we stepped foot into the building . They had a window that showed behind the scenes look into the kitchen aswell as some of their menu items on display. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday so the staff came out and sang happy birthday to her. Drinks 10/10 Arroz con leche was my favorite drink Food 10/10 A lot of food but had a nice variety of things to eat on my plate . Vibes 10/10 The staff was friendly and let had great recommendations .

Amy G.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is perfect for a celebratory brunch or a casual outing at beautiful Liberty Station! Loved the Mazapan Latte and the Hot Chocolate! The latte came with some light biscuits which I also loved. We got the sampler with Cremosos Chilaquiles. The sauce was amazing but the chicken was chewy and dry. The eggs were scrambled well and the Tamales were delicious. We also got the Concha Rellena and it was delightful. The service was good, food was out very quickly and our server Elizabeth was amazing and sweet and kind. There is street parking, but it could be a hassle on the weekends. Highly recommend this place.

Joel S.

Yelp
Reservations are highly recommended because this place is that good!! I've followed Cocina 35 on social media for a while so I was already familiar with the vibe but being there in person is better! Since it was our first time, our server made sure we understood the menu and helped make some recommendations. He was very attentive to us and made sure that all our wants were met!!! Finally, the food! Everything tasted as great as it looked. My only tip, be careful about the sauces. I got the green sauce on my chilaquiles and it was at the top of my spicy level. Also, the Mexican coffee was amazing!! I live in east county so we don't make it to liberty station often but now I have one more reason to make the drive!

Christina H.

Yelp
This was a beautiful place, very instagram photo op feel, but it was way too loud. I did love the energy they brought when someone was celebrating something but there was 5 celebrations in the 1 hour I was there, it was almost overwhelming. Plus the music was really loud and I got put at a booth table that did really allow for easy socialization among my group. If you are looking for a quiet place to catch up with friends, this isn't the place. The food was good but overpriced for what it was, the portion felt a bit small. I guess I went in with high expectations so that might have had something to do with the way I experienced it. Also I am animal product sensitive and when I ordered, I was assured there was no lard in my bean but after eating my meal, my stomach started to hurt. I felt like they didn't take the time to check the ingredients of the beans for me even when I asked. They said the "pork beans have lard but not the regular beans" but it really didn't feel that way. The waitstaff was friendly enough. But it was also a busy day so I understand it hard when it is busy. I also waited 1 hour to get a table.

Leo C.

Yelp
The good first: the decor is uber cute. Pretty big inside the restaurant and I like how there are outdoor seats but also still inside. I did see a customer with a dog outside which I wish i knew because I left my corgi at home thinking no pets. But idk, if it's policy or what- they were sitting outside too. I did like how there was two lines to get seated- one for a regular table and another for the bar. Both sections one can order food. We went on a holiday so the place was packed and they were short staffed but the wait for the bar wasn't too bad- maybe 18mins or so. I was also a fan of the employee walking around with the coffee cart and pan dulce- I was excited to get a cafecito de olla. I got a concha pan Dulce and I was nicely soft. The service was nice- we were checked in on quite a few times despite them being busy. Now for the bad: the coffee wasn't amazing. Disappointed it didn't taste like a true cafe de olla. Because they were short staffed, it did take a while for someone to take our order but it's okay, it was the bartender and she was busy busy. I wasn't trippin on that so much. I ordered a create your own plate of chilaquiles and my friend ordered the Mercado with "light carnitas." Our guess was the light meant the meat wasn't fried- it seemed steamed and my friend liked her plate. She did say it had very little beans at the very bottom of the bowl. My food came out cold. I got divorciados option of green salsa and the creamy chipotle sauce and it was all cold. Got over medium eggs and machaca- both just ok. Lastly- the price was ridiculously high. I get that most food and places have raised the cost nowadays plus this IS located at liberty station/Point Loma but 6.75 for one cup of coffee?!! That's just insane! $3 for a pan dulce. Yeah, not okay. I posted the receipt so you can see for yourself. Will I be back? Probably not to this location. I like the one of 6th Ave. - I'll go there next time I'm craving chilaquiles.

Annie D.

Yelp
If you like Mexican food especially a good chilaquiles, craft cocktails, trendy vibes and don't mind waiting for a table (no reservations on the weekends) Cocina 35 is your brunch spot. We waited 45 minutes at 10am on a Saturday and the wait got longer as we waited. Their chilaquiles chips are nice a thick so they don't get soggy but it does not come with eggs. Love that there are so many options to choose from. The Al Pastor was the favorite. The Mercardo (OG with carnitas and green sauce) was surprisingly spicier than I expected. Drinks are delicious. They serve Gran Malo tequila which is tamarind flavored. A lot of birthday celebrations so you'll hear the staff do their party song every so often but in-between it wasn't a loud environment. Our server could have been more attentive otherwise it was a very good experience.

Gwyneth N.

Yelp
As someone who is an extremely picky eater and came here on a whim, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING !!! You have to try it and I'm definitely putting it on my new rotation list for brunch! It was super aesthetic inside and outside, making it picture perfect. They were super helpful and patient, being able to get us a table almost immediately on a Thursday morning. The Al pastor chilaquiles and the mini burritas were to die for--Overall A MUST TRY in liberty station!

Steven H.

Yelp
WOW. This place is not only beautiful, but the service and staff was amazing. They were so nice and helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to order and which meals were better for who. The food is SO authentic. You would think that being in San Diego more places would have authentic Mexican food just like Tijuana but it's hard to find. It's expensive but I promise it is worth it. The coffees and chilaquiles were so good. Pair all that with the best view of our beautiful city and the harbor, it doesn't get better than that.

Amy K.

Yelp
Located at Liberty station San Diego. You have to know two things: long lines (looooong) on weekends and amazing chilaquiles. No reservations on weekends but they have a bar line where you sit at the bar. I have had the La bomba and Mercado. Love both. The Chile verde is spicy level 5/10. I came with group of 8 on weekend around 9:30-10:00 and we waited 1.5 hours. I came party of 1 on Sunday at 2:30 and waited 10 minutes. The mimosa flight is potent! Prepared to be buzzed. I got mezcal de bueno and it is smoky.

Angela M.

Yelp
Super cute Mexican restaurant serving unique chilaquiles and enchiladas! Their mole is absolutely delicious and if you are looking for a unique and tasty Mexican brunch restaurant, I highly recommend Cocina 35. During the weekends, the wait can be pretty long so make sure you put yourself on the reservation asap. Once inside, the vibe of the restaurant is very lively and they'll make a big deal celebrating birthdays with the staff singing and banging cow bells. Their cocktails are delicious and my family had a great time visiting here every time we are at Liberty Station

michelle s.

Yelp
This is place is super packed took hour to finally get seated I guest with the line and wait I expected something fantastic! Nope service was awesome food mediocre nothing to write about I can't say I had anything special .

Elizabeth V.

Yelp
Cocina 35 Brunch located in Liberty Station. Parking is ample but can be challenging depending on the time of day and if you choose to go on a weekend. Off peak time (prior to 11am) wait time is approximately about an hour. During peak time it can be up to 3hrs. Customer service is a 10! Venue itself is also a 10! Food Ranged from 5-8 depending who you asked as we were a party of 5. I personally gave it a 5 for the food that I ordered. I ordered: Al Pastor Chilaquiles - There was not enough meat to tortilla ratio. It was a drier version than I expected. Flavor was good but it needed a lot more meat and sauce. Guava Agua frescas - So refreshing and delicious! Sweet corn tamale - was a bit on the dry side. Pan de muerto - Delish! Not too soft but not too dense and just the right sweetness. Chocolate chip cookie - large but, way too dense and hard. Customer service was so on point, I would probably give this place a second chance and order something different.

Dorian A.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere Everyone is super friendly Wanna go back so bad!! Hope they will open up in OC or LA

Nikki V.

Yelp
So here's what went wrong with my delivery today... The restaurant prepared the order too soon. It was ready way before the driver arrived. Then, the drive was 15 mins. So, it was not hot by the time it got here. I deliver hot food all the time as a driver myself, restaurants will make me wait 5-10 mins because it's fresh, not going in the bag until the driver arrives, and this ensures customer satisfaction. When you spend that much on a meal you want the restaurant to take every detail into consideration. My food was cold & soggy and my dessert came with melted whipped cream (and it's my birthday).

Andrea V.

Yelp
Delicious food, good drink menu, huge location with indoor and outdoor seating, good customer service, and nice atmosphere. This is my favorite location by far. Not only is this the largest location, but the dynamics of everything seemed to flow nicely. Unlike their other locations, we ordered after we were seated. Sounds normal, however at their other locations, it's kinda like a taco shop, you order before taking a seat. There is free street parking, however the area attracts a lot of people and can get fill up fast. The place is spacious and had cool decor. There is merchandise and treats available for purchase. There were displays of their food items at the entrance. I'm a visual person, so I found this helpful, as it shows you what the menu items will look like. The service was exceptional, we were checked on frequently, and the server was attentive. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I ordered the chilaquiles- la bomba. It has a creamy habanero cilantro salsa, topped with cochinita pibil. Amazing flavors and my favorite menu item. The Mazapan and Cajeta latte were good. All the food items were fresh and came out quickly. Considering how busy they were, we weren't waiting long. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was an overall pleasant experience here. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday morning. Unfortunately, there are no reservations during the weekend and there may be a wait time when you arrive. When I got there, there was a small ceremony across the street that just ended so it was a little busy. For a party of 2, we waited for about 35 min. Regarding the food. I ordered the seasonal chilaquiles and mole. I thought it was delicious. Usually, mole when I go to restaurants is a miss, but their mole was good. It does not come with any protein so I added asada and a fried egg. I also ordered a Michelada. Their Michelada mix was super refreshing. Overall, I would come back.

Yelp
Food is delicious! Vibes are really cool. This is a great place to have a brunch date! Service is fast and friendly. There may be a bit of a wait being that this is a pretty popular place, but definitely worth the wait.

Yelp
Absolutely incredibly special experience, the food and the service were outstanding and what a fun place to have a birthday! Reminded us of going to Farrells back in the day! The Burritas Ahogada with cocinita pibil was very special and I'd never tried this dish.

Yelp
Been here before. Its ok. Today we went only to be told we needed a reservation. Good thing. We went to a restaurant next door. Wow...love it. We definitely coming back. Loved the prices and food choices.

Yelp
I think I found the most darling restaurant in all the land if not Point Loma at least. Cocina 35 has a vibe reminiscent of Morning Glory combined with Cloak & Petal and from the moment you arrive to the pink velvet rope, awaiting entrance, you'll be enthralled. The inside is bright and cheery and pink and pretty. And EVERYONE is celebrating! There were about 12 birthdays during our brunch. Service is attentive and professional. And the food is fantastic! We had chilaquiles, burritos, and burritas ahogados. We also tried a few cocktails which were so beautiful and went down very easy. We had an absolute blast. I left with a bright orange "Chilaquiles" ball cap that I've been proudly wearing and we cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
Okay, definitely worth the hype! We got here at 9am (thank goodness we were up early because of my toddler) because the lines were already forming! (Side note: their toddler entertainment were awesome - not your basic coloring pencils and booklet). Their cocktails were pretty AND delicious. Food was amazing! Everything was authentic and reminded me of breakfast and lunch dishes in Mexico. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back!

Yelp
Came in Thursday morning and the wait was short, only about 10 minutes, weekends get very very busy so be aware!!! The hostess was very kind and as it was some of our first time she explained the menu before seating us which was super helpful we also ordered cafe de olla on ice which is essentially iced coffee that is brewed with Mexican chocolate and cinnamon, sooo yummy! The enfrijoladas were super good but way too oily for my taste due to the chorizo, the chilaquiles were both very good and all portion sizes are amazing!

Yelp
Talk about aesthetic! This cutie restaurant needs to be next on your list. As soon as you walk in you get a "food tour", the host guides you along the display case of all their food items. I thought I was window shopping lol We sat at the bar because it was a shorter wait time, the only downside of not sitting at a table was the service. The bartender was clearly busy so he couldn't attend to us as much as a server. We had to ask for refills on drinks and he forget to add the churros to our order. The food did arrive quickly! One of my favorite things about the restaurant was the pan dulce cart. A server would walk around the restaurant with a cart full of pan dulce and cafe de la olla. Such a great touch! Agua frescas - 9/10 Food - 7/10

Yelp
Food and drinks were pretty good! I ordered the De Mercado chilaquiles and a mimosa flight. The chilaquiles were good, but could've used more meat and more than a single slice of avocado. The mimosa flight was good! I believe they were watermelon, orange juice, horchata, and mango with a tajin rim. Watermelon was the best out of the four. It was about an hour and a half wait, which was understandable for a Sunday. There were several birthdays, as the staff would come out every 5-10 minutes to sing and celebrate the guests's birthdays. It does get pretty loud at times but nothing too chaotic. I'd definitely go again, but preferably on a weekday since they take reservations and wouldn't be as busy.

Yelp
Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 This place really does live up to the hype. I've had Cocina 35 on my bucket list for quite sometime, and boy am I glad to have finally came! Their chilaquiles are amazing. The sauces and tortilla texture is cooked perfectly. So many options and loved how it's displayed in the front for everyone to see how plates are served. That is so helpful! Don't get me started on the piloncillo syrup for coffee! They place it along side your coffee and It's was like a warm Mexican hug in a cup! My cousin brought me here for my birthday and love how they have such fun songs for birthdays. Can't wait to come again. It's a fun vibe inside, as well as beautifully decorated. Though the wait is long, it is sure worth it! Come check them out. You can thank me laters!

Yelp
Was looking forward to visiting this place for my birthday weekend and it did not disappoint! Went early so we didn't wait too long. The service was friendly and quick. The ambiance was so pretty I wish I would've taken more pictures! The food was also very delicious. Hubby and I shared the chilaquiles plate because it was huge! I loved that they sang my baby and I happy birthday because we really enjoyed it. Can't wait to be back again!

Yelp
The food is amazing! It never disappoints. My only complaint is that the girl servers are always rude and gossiping. I never feel like they are giving their best attitude and they aren't as attentive to customers. I love this place I just wish it was more friendly.

Yelp
Second time here...brought my husband. During the week they take reservations so I did. Didn't want to be waiting. The food was just as good as the first time. I had chicken flautas and beans. Drank a mango mimosa. My husband enjoyed his tacos.

Yelp
Everything about this place is good. I recommend you to make a reservation as it seems to be very popular. Food is delicious, service has always been great and ambience is great during weekends, lots of birthdays, they bring a bubble machine, they sing and the bottle of champagne comes in a beautiful bucket made out of ice with flowers in it. This place is amazing and beautiful.

Yelp
Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. I ordered the Arroz con Leche drink, and let me tell you, you get your moneys worth on that alcohol lol! If you're a lightweight, stick to one I also ordered "El Sinaloense" brunch sampler, it was packed with flavor and spice. If you're not into spicy food definitely opt for a mild salsa for your chilaquiles, I chose salsa verde and it was packed with flavor but a little too spicy, but still so worth it! I believe Tomate and Creamy Chipotle were the mild salsas for the chilaquiles! The beans were good, the machaca was okay, the corn tamal was delicious! Overall I enjoyed this restaurant so I give it 5 stars
