For after dinner drinks, Dalila's is the spot. It's the place to go when you don't want to shout over loud music or elbow people to get a drink, you can just sit and enjoy a cocktail. It's a nice laid back vibe. Even though it's right off of King Street on Spring, it's tucked back from the crowds.
This is the kind of place where the bartenders know you better than you know yourself, so if you need a drink recommendation, you're in capable hands. I decided to go outside my comfort cocktail zone and order the San Pablo Ave, which has vanilla chai bourbon, orgeat, banana, lemon, and herbstura. Not going to lie, I was scared of the banana and it being too heavy/ creamy, but what I experienced was a light and tropical cocktail. It's probably one of the best cocktails I've had recently. They have drinks with all different types of spirits, but all with tropical flavors that I really enjoy.
The space itself is small, but well designed so you don't feel like you're on top of other people. If you get hungry, they have a few light bites. Parking in this area can be tough, but there are a few parking garages nearby or if you don't mind walking a few blocks, you can take advantage of free street parking for a few hours.
