Dalila's

Dalila's was stop number 2 on our DIY Cocktail Crawl. We were told it was somewhat of a dive bar and very small. Small but MIGHTY! 💪 The atmosphere was fun and unique and the bartenders were friendly. We were only in for 1 drink, but easily could've stayed longer. 🍹I had the Pin Up from their Happy Hour Menu (Monday - Saturday 5-7pm). It was very reminiscent of a Pornstar Martini, just lacking the vanilla, but this was GOOD! So fresh and so full of real flavor, not just sugar. I'd 100% order again. 🍵 Hubby had The Cougar and also enjoyed it. They had a Pizza Martini on special that I would've tried but I wasn't feeling savory. Maybe next time? Definitely put on your list to hit up for happy hour!

We were on the early side for this small, cozy bar. It was empty but supposedly gets busier later. Good drinks, chatty bartender, although the choice of music playing was questionable ha.

My husband and I stopped by this bar and had a great time. The bartender was fantastic—super attentive and friendly. We were planning to head to another spot, so we didn’t finish our drinks, but he noticed and kindly offered to make us something else, thinking we weren’t happy with them. We assured him that wasn’t the case and promised we’d be back. It was a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even better. Drinks were great too, obvi!

Had a great time there on a Saturday night. Yummy drinks (very good Jungle bird) and friendly bartender. Will definitely visit again if I'm back in town!

Very much "caribbean inspired". Not what I was expecting. Was a bit put off by the bartender even though he was very knowledgeable and made a damn good drink the attitude is not what I was expecting to walk into especially with all the great reviews. Won't be returning.

The cocktails are fantastic. Whatever your preferred libation pleasure, they can make it or have a rendition of it that's probably better than your standard. The one food option (a Cuban when we were there) was great and a nice little bit of substance to the belly while we continued to order their well crafted drinks. Like others have said, they make quality cocktails efficiently. Definitely hit this spot. You will be glad you did.

Nice spot for a drink before dinner! Had a Neptune's Nel and it was awesome! Bartender was nice and makes a great drink.

Driving by around sunset looking for parking and I saw this little tucked away spot called Dalila's... I felt drawn to the spot and knew we had to visit! First time in Charleston and I felt as if I struck a gold mine! The atmosphere was so welcoming, a local "go-to" spot for people in the restaurant service industry! The spot is tiny but cozy, they have a great scent that blows through their fans, a vast range of cocktail selections that are strong/amazing! It's very dark inside and authentic with hanging plants/ a vibrant sign here and there. Overall, I struck a gold mine. The place was beautiful, I'll definitely be coming back if I happen to visit Charleston again :)

This is a fantastic little cocktail bar downtown, great cocktails, fun service, super cool vibe. I have only been a handful of times but I've enjoyed every cocktail I've had and every experience at the bar. I've seen tiki nights advertised and I'd like to try one in the future. Happened to go on a service industry night once and they offered some specials as well as merch. Highly recommend for great drinks downtown and not super crowded!

Great bar right on the heart of the action, but a bit hidden to keep it private and cozy. The drinks and cocktails are spectacular and the service is friendly and impeccable. I had the cocktail of the day, which was a unique midori cocktail which was refreshing and fun. I love the happy hour and the fact that it is later than the average bar right at opening . Amazing spot and location for great value! Check it out.

We walked down here after eating at Bourbon and Bubbles. We immediately felt welcome and he turned out to be one of the owners. It's a very cool atmosphere and is small, but that makes it more intimate. There is also outdoor seating. The drink menu was vast and also delicious! It seems like a place locals hang out and yet we still felt included. We'd love to have this place in our area. Definitely worth a visit while in the area.

Would not have known Dalila's was there if it wasn't for participating in Women's History Month Bar Crawl. Small bar on Spring St. The bartender, Fabiana, was very welcoming and had lots of energy. Made us an awesome drink. One if the best on the crawl.

Dalila's BOTTOM BAY couldn't have said it better themselves "We Went All Out Tiki on This One" Gin, Banana, Falernum, Pineapple, and Citrus and man oh man was it tasty. Not pictured is the Dirty Chai which is what I ordered and was absolutely delicious. "That Boozy Breakfast Drink You've Been Wanting" of Vanilla Chai Bourbon, Java Rum, Cold Brew, Coconut Cream and Contains caffeine. Your new espresso martini? I think so. #bergerknowsbest

Great service even on a packed night. The drinks we had hit the spot and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop when visiting Charleston.

I liked the cocktails. I don't believe they have food or bar snacks. The menu seems to change often which provides a lot of variety. It is located on a slower spot downtown, but conveniently located close to king. A good spot for pre-dinner drinks. I enjoyed the music selection.

Great place to start the evening. Have been here twice now and both times the service and drinks were excellent! It's in close proximity to a lot of downtown restaurants so it will probably be our go to pre-dinner cocktail spot! Great for date night or for a group of friends looking to drink so yummy cocktails in a dimly lit, moody yet tropical? bar.

For after dinner drinks, Dalila's is the spot. It's the place to go when you don't want to shout over loud music or elbow people to get a drink, you can just sit and enjoy a cocktail. It's a nice laid back vibe. Even though it's right off of King Street on Spring, it's tucked back from the crowds. This is the kind of place where the bartenders know you better than you know yourself, so if you need a drink recommendation, you're in capable hands. I decided to go outside my comfort cocktail zone and order the San Pablo Ave, which has vanilla chai bourbon, orgeat, banana, lemon, and herbstura. Not going to lie, I was scared of the banana and it being too heavy/ creamy, but what I experienced was a light and tropical cocktail. It's probably one of the best cocktails I've had recently. They have drinks with all different types of spirits, but all with tropical flavors that I really enjoy. The space itself is small, but well designed so you don't feel like you're on top of other people. If you get hungry, they have a few light bites. Parking in this area can be tough, but there are a few parking garages nearby or if you don't mind walking a few blocks, you can take advantage of free street parking for a few hours.

This place is great. Mike (the bartender) is terrific at answering your questions and making drink suggestions. Everything he served me was delicious. While the address is listed as Meeting Street, it's actually on Spring Street.

Small, cozy and intimate spot to get cocktails that is slightly off King street. Got the usual and a beet tequila drink. Both cocktails were alright, wasn't too impressed with either. Would try something else next time.

This place is great. It's a cocktail bar so don't expect a rager here or frat stars if that's what you're looking for with your night out. Instead enjoy a nice joint for you and your friends to enjoy a great handcrafted cocktail. The bartenders are real cool and one of them brings his husky dog who is very friendly and very chill. We stopped in on Charleston and stayed nearby, making this our regular evening stop. The sour is great but the bartender is also able to whip up a drink to your liking!

I'd never come within 50 miles of Charleston without stopping into this bar. The cocktails were amazing and Mike, the bartender, was the best. With the experience of the staff there, you will find a drink for you. The great music and an open friendly atmosphere make it a perfect place to start or end your night. A highlight for me (outside of my boy mike) was their rum selection. I am a big rum drinker and they had several things I'd never been able to try before! Myself and a group of friends ended our night here 4 days in a row and were able to try new things and have a great time every single night. I count that as a great success and hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy this place like we do. I will say I didn't try their food but what I don't know won't hurt me.

Cool little cocktail bar that was recommended to us by a few different people. Definitely more of a locals spot and in a less touristy area, but worth the trip. Good drink menu with a few cocktails on tap as well. Highly recommend stopping here if you're looking for a swanky little spot with tasty cocktails.

I don't know what I got here - but it got me well and drunk and it was flippin delicious. Some whiskey-based drink. Loved the vibe here. Someone had their husky hanging out and I pet it for a while. It was pretty small and there were a ton of people but when a big group left it was a lot more manageable. Drinks were awesome.

This is a 1950s inspired cocktail lounge worth checking out. The vibe is dark and cozy, a nice place to escape the bustle on Upper King. The craft cocktails are unique and delicious. The drink menu changes seasonally.

Small space with amazingly well thought out and crafted cocktails. Top notch presentation finishes off one of the best cocktail bars in the city.

Nice cocktails selection. Try Manhattan or any of your favorite beverages, but tell bartender to surprise you. Trust me, he will. Seat outside and enjoy. Nice atmosphere away from King Street and load college bars. We had a great time. Good place for a night cap.

This bar was very dark, cozy and intimate with a speakeasy vibe. They played really good music, old school hip hop. Our expectations were the drinks would match the environment, we chose Hermosa and Cowabunja from their menu, drinks they are known for. Hermosa was very good but I wouldn't order Cowabunja again. We would come back to try it again because of the cozy setting and it was not overly busy for Saturday night. It's a good place if you want to be away from the crowds of King Street.

THE BEST COCKTAILS! We love Dalila's! What a great atmosphere. The decor is very bohemian meets cool LA vibe. The service is great. Always very friendly and welcoming, regardless of how busy they can get. The bartenders are very passionate about what they do and it shows. Dalila's offers REAL cocktails, not your run of the mill jack and coke mixologist. Then ingredients are top notch and I really like how creative they can be. What's great to is if you don't see what you like on the menu, they'll make it. What pros! My wife and I held an event here and it was a HUGE hit. All our guests loved the drinks and the food...especially the Cuban sandwich! Finally, for the level of service and quality of food/drink; the prices are really good. You can spend a very beautiful evening enjoying some excellent cocktails and walk away with pleasantly surprised by how much the check was. Must try!

Such fun and interesting cocktails! We got the Dirty Chai & the Lola's Nightcap and really enjoyed each. The cocktail descriptions are so intriguing that we grabbed a second round of the on tap cocktails and loved those as well. Highly recommend!

I hesitate to write a review of this place because I don't want to the secret to get out. But that's not very Yelp-ish so here I am, proclaiming my love for Dalila's on the internet. I have literally nothing bad to say about the place. I wish the cocktails were bigger because they're so delicious but THEN I would be too drunk, too soon (yes, that's a thing), because they're strong. The decor is beautiful, staff is friendly, knowledgable, and the snacks are on point. If that doesn't convince you to go...you cray. And that's fine. More seats for me.

Intimate spot for tasty drinks. Owner is a herb though. I overheard him say the capacity was 40 so i commented my surprise to my friends and he got all but hurt. Relax guy.

I stumbled into this place looking for a good cocktail and couldn't be happier. Such a hidden gem! The cocktails were truly great and it had a cool carribean fusion vibe. It's just off King Street, so it's easy to get to and has a very nice ambiance.

Epic drinks in an intimate and well curated space. Couldn't be more excited to stumble upon fellow Angelenos in love with Charleston and bringing a great space with them. Timmer and Micheal have created corner bar with your name on it with craft cocktails that with surprise and inspire.

This is a perfect place for a couple getting a way for a night for a few amazing cocktails. It's got a great vibe, it's small and personal, the bartender/owner did a phenomenal job and was a great conversationalist that gave us lot of other selections, and lastly the music was perfect with a relaxing feel. I did not find another bar that had such a great variety of cocktails. They have several classic cocktails with Caribbean twist while also having many very original cocktails. They do such a great job mixing the ingredients and all of the cocktails are balanced so well. My wife and I could have stayed here all night but after three each we definitely were in a great relaxed state and we didn't want to overdo it. To mention a few of the drinks, my wife loved the Konuku Mountain which is a delectable rum drink that is guaranteed to put you in a great mood, and me being a bourbon and rye guy I got the house old fashioned, San Pablo Avenue, and a rye cocktail that I asked the bartender to surprise me. All three were unbelievable. I which I lived in Charleston so I could stop here a few times a month because it was probably in my top 5 bars I have ever been to. Happy Yelping!

I love this place not because I live directly above it but because of how nice the guys that run this place are. If you want to go to a bar where you not only feel welcomed but you also know that any question you may have about the establishment won't be seen as annoying, then you need to come visit this spot. I worry that all the positive reviews will make it to where I will no longer be able to find a seat at the bar here but at the same time, I do think everyone, visiting or local, needs to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic, true hidden gem in Charleston. Only knew about this place through a local. Timur is an extremely skilled bartender that makes this experience truly memorable. Best drinks we have had during our short trip and the best service by far of any place we have visited. Regardless of what they are doing for this little hideaway bar, THEY ARE DOING IT RIGHT!! Enjoy this little gem and the wonderfulness that is Charleston!!!

Phenomenal and fresh drinks. I've yet to find anywhere else downtown that I've enjoyed so much. I also like that depending on the time of day I go, I can just relax and it's quiet, but it picks up later at night.
