The Essential Brunch Destinations in Denver

"At nearly 20 years old, this warm and sunny farm-to-table charmer in LoHi still feels like the place to be for brunch, when the menu — much like the decor — strikes a balance between rustic and refined: Think challah French toast with lemon curd, citrus-pomegranate chutney, and pistachios or eggs Benedict with cider-glazed pork, braised collard greens, and mustard cream sauce." - Lucy Beaugard, Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

The food was absolutely delicious—every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The menu offered creative options without being overwhelming, and everything we ordered hit the mark. The atmosphere was charming and warm, striking a balance between relaxed and refined. It felt like the perfect spot for a laid-back weekend brunch. Service-wise, things were a bit slower than expected. It seemed there was only one waitress covering a fairly busy section, which understandably led to some delays. While she was friendly, the pacing could have been better. Overall, I’d absolutely return for the food and ambiance alone—just hoping they have a bit more staff coverage next time to match the quality of the meal.

Stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the food, drinks, and atmosphere. The staff was attentive, hard-working, and kind (thank you Chelsea!). My partner and I had the Sweet Sunday and Spring Quinoa Hash, with a side of their homemade sausage and their green chili cheddar biscuits. Everything was INCREDIBLY delicious, fresh, and you could taste the components / thoughtfulness that went into the dishes. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Google
Very good food, a good Denver restaurant week try out option. For the first course: The trout toast was very good favor with balanced texture from the crispy toast. The added beef gouch in beer also very tasty. The mushroom arancini was quit popular with about 1/3 of customer that it as their first course and it has crispy shell filled with great favor of mushroom. The added dual lamb second course had very tasty lamb rib. The lamb meat ball a bit heavy on the herb probably better for anyone that prefer less lamb favor. It was good they added it in the offer for the second course. It's good choice if you like lamb. The scallops were cooked just right tenderness and without any fishy smell on top the grilled endive formed great base to the additional sides. Bison short rib was good as well along with the sides that accompany it. The third course is deserts: The guava sorbet was very good with great guava favor, the mango-coconut is a bit light on Mango.. The Toffee Pudding was warming to heart in the cold night while Chocolate Torte was full of the favor although the rosemary ice cream took a bit of adjustment. A good one and a half hours dinning experience

Went for dinner last night and I AM OBSESSED!!! Everything was outstanding, love how local and fresh the menu is. Service was great. The pork is the only thing on the menu that doesn’t rotate and I couldn’t be happier. It was the best restaurant pork I’ve ever had!

Excuse me...how have I lived in Denver for 6 years and never had brunch here?!?! BEST BRUNCH IN DENVER! Yes, seriously so good and fresh. I've dined here for diner and it was great but nothing insanely memorable. However, we went to brunch this past weekend here and wow, it was seasonal, fresh, and flavorful. The cocktails were also unique and very good. This will definitely be our new brunch spot.

I had dinner at Duo last Thursday for a first date, and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for good conversation. The service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, and everything was timed perfectly. As for the food, we both loved our meals. I had the pork chop, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My date had the trout and couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and well-balanced the dish was. From start to finish, everything about Duo was spot on. If you're looking for a cozy, high-quality dining experience in Denver, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Google
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My husband and I have eaten many meals here and are never let down. Absolutely amazing food, whoever is the head chef is brilliant! The pairings of flavors are creative and well balanced. Every dish and cocktail I’ve had here is delicious! The pork benedict for breakfast & the fried chicken dinner are two of our current favorites. Also dessert is worth it here I don’t even like tiramisu but ordered an earl grey one and it was soo good! Atmosphere is welcoming and warm with great service that is attentive and kind. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone.

Went here for breakfast and food was delicious!! The group loved everything they got. Highly recommend the sweet Sunday!

Yelp
Duo is an underrated star. Had dinner there tonight and as always it did not disappoint. Fantastic food and service and the care they put into the menu and sourcing quality produce and veggies is obvious. You can walk in many nights and I'm always delighted. It's cozy and intimate without being stuffy, just a great solid place.

Yelp
Incredible food - but never going back. We had the most bizarre experience last night along with many other diners there. One of the servers was clearly under the influence of something. She was crying, dropping plates, coming back multiple times to ask what we ordered. We had to go to the bar 3 times to get our drinks from the bartender because she kept forgetting to bring them out. She was incredibly apologetic - to a point where every time she came to our table she broke down crying and apologizing. This did not just happen to our table, but every table she was waiting on. We felt terribly for the girl who claimed she had worked a double shift and had a 5 month old baby at home. The worst part about the whole experience was the lack of assistance she had from her coworkers who were clearly aware of the situation. For a high end restaurant with the average cost of an entree being ~$38, the customers should expect great service that meets the quality of the food. We kept hoping that her manager would send her home and another server could step in, but that never happened. Not only did her team not show up for her, but they did not show up for the restaurant as a whole. An unfortunate circumstance to say the least.

Yelp
Wow! What an AMAZING brunch! This place is phenomenal. Highly recommend the Bloody Mary's and the egg sandwich with fennel sausage. Delish!

Yelp
Food looked great, but the seasoning and technique were disappointing. I ordered the Lion's mane mushrooms and they were tough, overcooked, and lacked flavor. The quinoa cakes they were presented on top of lacked seasoning as well. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The ice cream and sauce were delicious. The cake itself lacked flavor.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday afternoon with a reservation and had no issues with it! We were also given the option to sit inside as the reservation was for the patio. We ordered the brisket Benedict (replaced the potatoes for a salad) and the French toast and everything was eaten! The restaurant had a french toast and really like that they have a small patio section. The service was fast and easy and liked our server!

Yelp
Interesting place. Very cool venue, waitress was fabulous, entrees were delicious, as were dessert and wine. Appetizers left something to be desired (prawns were way too salty, salad was way too bitter) but otherwise very solid meal & very solid spot

Yelp
I went here with a group of 6 for brunch. We had reservations and were seated right away. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and thought they were really good. The table ordered coffee and didn't realize we'd be charged by the pot until the bill came. We had a couple of misses....I ordered a mimosa that I didn't get and there was an issue with the bill, but overall good.

Yelp
Exceptional! Duo always delivers flavorful dishes. I got the Trout and my husband got the pork chop. Both were excellent! This should be your next restaurant to hit up.

Yelp
This place was great. We went for a breakfast / brunch and everything the table got was on point. Great space and service as well.

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to try this place in my neighborhood for brunch. Service was a bit slow but attentive. Place was busy so not too surprising. The restaurant was hot and stuffy, it's winter we're wearing sweaters and boots and we were sweating. I find this to be common in Denver for some reason. I got the croque madame, loved everything about it except the sauce. It was watery and had no flavor. Not sure what it was but not béchamel. My friend had another egg dish, her portion was twice my size, very inconsistent. Would give it another try because the brunch menu looked good.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Duo for brunch on Sunday. We made reservations, which is a must on the weekends. It was packed. Our server was very friendly and the food is amazing. The food took a while to come out but like I said, it was very busy. That is my only complaint. The restaurant is cozy and the exposed brick gives it an industrial feel.

Yelp
Excellent service and food quality, we were in Denver for a week and eat there two times. The staff is passionate about the experience you have and is evident in the food and cocktails. We will definitely go back when we are in Denver again.

Yelp
Delish--recommend all these entrees. We got seated at the bar right away without reservation. Bartender was attentive. Bloody Mary not pictured was also best I've had.

Hector H.

Yelp
We tend to save duo for those celebrations during the year and it is always a great time. The staff is friendly and attentive. Food never disappoints. Thank you for a great time.

Don Scott M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner early on a Saturday evening. We enjoyed the small plates. The food was creative, delicious and just amazing. The service, Aline (?), was a pro and charming. The place's ambience is warm and inviting. That equals 5 stars. Congrats to all at Duo. Oh and that ice cream. Wow.

Mason H.

Yelp
I had lamb and my wife had salmon, both of which were some of the best dishes we've had in the Denver area. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the wait staff made sure we were well taken care of. I also would seriously recommend getting the Petit Gateaux for dessert. Cannot recommend this place enough for date night or an elevated night out.

Yelp
Nice cute spot in LoHi. Convenient location and good French and south inspired options for brunch - cider pork Benedict Really good for what it is. I wish the pork had more layers of flavors. The dressing was awesome - croque madame 100%. Highly recommend! Dressing was yummy too - scone Pastry available for brunch too. A nice plus Friendly service

Yelp
Wow! Absolutely recommend stopping by Duo for a dinner and I highly recommend coming hungry! We started with an appetizer (bacon wrapped asparagus) that was delicious and perfect to split between two people. For my main, I ordered the Airline Chicken (on recommendation from the server) and it was amazing! It was an extremely healthy portion so you definitely won't feel like you didn't get enough food. Plus I love how it came with both a grain and vegetable so you felt like you were getting a full meal. My friend had the Za'atar Lamb Meatballs for her main and she also loved it (again great portion sizes). We finished with the white chocolate - early grey tiramisu and it was definitely good, but not something I would probably order again but mostly because I don't love white chocolate. Finally, this place was great with my severe peanut & shellfish allergy. They are a seasonal menu so if you have allergies, and are here previously, I always recommend double checking because you don't know when they might add something you cannot eat.

Yelp
Quality food prepared superbly. Warm, quiet atmosphere and an attentive wait staff. Especially love their cocktails and mock tails. Definitely one of our go-to restaurants.

Jody J.

Yelp
The was amazing and light. The only thing I am mad about is I did not take a picture of the absolutely fabulous appetizer peaches and tomatoes. The appetizer had tomatoes and peaches with smoked feta cheese. I devoured it so fast I forgot to take a picture my bad. But it also served with a wonderful crumbled up pie crust that just worked. My wife had the pork chop which I was actually jealous of for just a moment. The pork chop was meaty and flavorful and the bbq sauce on the chop really good. But and not by much my salmon came out and it was just in one word delicious. The Lentils, cream sauce, and green beans just were great. And the tempura onions, cream sauce, and salmon were just an explosion of flavor in my mouth. This was hands down some of the best salmon my mouth has ever tasted. The chef put a perfect char on the salmon which only happens at very good restaurants. I can't believe I made this gem right here in Colorado. The service. Our server was a wonderful young lady who described everything perfectly and gave us even better service. She is the first server that I felt that really had pulse on the food from appetizer to entree. She got a 22 percent tip from me. She deserved it. I wish I could give her more but have to budget Lol. Keep doing what you are doing she made are dining experience very enjoyable. Lastly ambiance. The restaurant was remarkably clean and everyone extremely pleasant. Hands down one of the more hidden pleasant places in the Highlands. Go now because this hidden gem will not stay unnoticed for too long.

Yelp
Definitely my new favourite brunch place in Denver. Cute restaurant, fast service, delicious food and you don't have to remember to make a reservation 3 weeks in advance. What's not to love? We tried the "sweet Sunday" which is a variation of eggs Benedict with the most delicious mushrooms I have ever had, sweet potatos and Swiss chard on grilled ciabatta served with roasted potatoes that will blow your mind. I normally sub out potatos for salad but so glad I didn't, they were unbelievably crispy and seasoned so well!! Don't even get me started on the banana foster French toast made with banana bread and topped with nuts, bananas and syrupy goodness. Waitstaff we're super attentive and food was served within 10 minutes of ordering. I am shocked this place isn't busier than it is!

Yelp
Have been here countless times and every time I'm so happy with the food and experience. Most recently we went and both got the fried chicken dish. It was creative delicious and very flavorful. Also am obsessed with their breakfast. Highly recommend this restaurant and their chefs!

Yelp
Fun food good service Great location you need to try it My family loves this place im sure you will too.

Yelp
The food was EXCELLENT. I ordered the chorizo scramble- wow! However, service was slooooowwwww. In addition, I know the "new norm" are back of house "livable wages" but this place charged 7%. I'm irritated even when these fees are 1-2%, but it is NOT the consumers responsibility to pay your employees. At 7% fee plus tip... your bill comes out to 27% more. For the fee alone... I likely won't be back. There's plenty of other great food with better service around.

Yelp
Booked a reservation here for when a friend came in town for work. Let me preface with the friend's brother is a Jame Beard Nominated chef so, he knows all the ins and outs of restaurants and I only dine with him as highly rated places. When we arrived, were seated quickly and the restaurant was about 1/4 full, as the night went on a few more tables filled up but, was by no means full. The waitress gave us an excessive amount of time to decide in our drinks before taking out drink order. We ordered drinks and then she came back for our app order (Hello, take both at once!) then she aired so long to revisit our table between the delivery of apps to the entree order that we were told all of our entrees were no longer available and the few tables before us had orders all that was left. So, two tables that came in after us, were able to place their ordered before us. Again, the place was not sold out from a seat perspective but, some how you are sold out of two different entrees. That is called piss poor planning, you didn't order enough food for reservations that you had on the books. Because there were no other entrees I was able to eat, I ended up getting a second serving of an app I already had. Luckily the gnocchi app was amazing. There are too many other places to experience in Denver. I will never coming back here again! And I don't recommend others go either, unless you are prepared to be disappointed.

Yelp
Very nice farm to table restaurant. Nicely appointed decor, with beautiful brick walls. Comfortable, relaxed setting. Although it can get loud. Visited for Restaurant Week and was impressed. The mussels and chorizo was absolutely delicious. The lamb meatball with couscous was disappointing -- lacked flavor and the menu warned about the dangers of consuming raw or undercooked meat. True to form the lamb meat was more raw than cooked - bright red tartare like. I would not order that again. Wife loved the red trout. Desserts were good, bread pudding a pleasant way to end the meal. Good wine list. Service was alright, just didn't seem to click with our server. . Street parking.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Duo is a great brunch and dinner spot. They use fresh, seasonal ingredients, are are committed to creating a menu that's both unique and satisfying. One of my favorite menu items for brunch is the Sweet Sunday. The poached eggs are cooked perfectly, and the confit mushrooms and sweet potatoes are tender and flavorful. Make sure you leave a few extra minutes for street parking.

Yelp
Professionally delivered dining ambiance and plates - went here with the love of my life - I miss you baby.

Yelp
We have been here twice and each time it was amazing food. Service is good a little slow but nothing horrible. We have had brunch here twice and man-O- man I tell you, this is really good food and a wonderfully creative menu. Pricing is very fair honestly a really good value for the quality of food that you're receiving. The location is great. The overall ambience of the place is ever so lovely for a brunch. We have plans to go there for dinner one night. I highly recommend this for brunch though.

Yelp
Wait here for Christmas Eve dinner with a few friends after Christmas in color at Waterworld, which sidenote is amazing! There was no wait and the ambience was perfect for the holiday. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner. We loved our cocktails and welcoming service from all the service crew at this restaurant, the food was delicious and met. Our specific dietary needs and palette preferences! Parking was pretty easy on the street and it was really easy to find.

Yelp
Came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! While the hostess didn't have the best attitude (and serious RBF), our server was incredibly nice and very attentive. Small space in what appears to be a very old building this we had a small table for two with a tiny bit of a lean from the old floor but not unreasonable or with annoying wobble. Drink #1 = the Dapper Apple (Leopold Bros. New York apple whiskey / Bear Creek spiced rum / salted caramel syrup / lemon / apple cider) = too sweet for my taste but a nice play on sweet and tart. Drink #2 = athletic club (Woody Creek bourbon / Velvet Falernum / Green Chartreuse / sweet vermouth) = SO SMOOTH. Great for any whiskey lover. App #1 = halibut collar (with bok choy / herb pistou / chili pepper vinaigrette) Delicious but have to watch out for bones with this cut. App #2 = apple celery root bisque (saba / fried sage / pickled sun chokes) = Pleasant and smooth; almost like a palette cleanser with hint of sweet Bonus app #3 = smoked white fish toast (Red Rock cod / butter brioche / trout roe / chive creme fraiche / pickled shallots) = Delicious smoked flavor; only would have preferred more of a crostini for a crunchy texture against the fish topping. Main #1 = bison short ribs (red wine braised / garlic pomme puree / roasted tomato / horseradish butter broccoli) = drool worthy. Garlicky mash with broccolini. The Demi glaze omg! Main #2 = red trout (With Shiitake mushrooms / cabbage / tamari dashi / Fresno ginger relish / rice puff) = Cooked to perfection with crispy skin and a harmonious broth. Dessert #1 = chocolate Frangelico tart (mascarpone whip / hazelnut praline / citrus glaze) = Decadent but light chocolate with a crispy crust and fluffy whip. Dessert #2 = lemon bar (vanilla meringue / candied pecans / blueberry lavender sauce) = Super tart for me (would have preferred a bit more of a crust to filling ratio for balance) but good flavor; the sauce was particularly on point (I wish I could recreate this to go on lemon pancakes!!!) Would've given it five stars except for there was a pretty funky and off-putting smell when we arrived (perhaps bad mop water???) couldn't quite place where the smell derived from but it was potent throughout the whole restaurant, the entire time. Hopefully just a fluke and rare scent-occurrence. Overall, I would happily dine here again!
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our experience at Duo. Our server was very attentive and spent time talking through cocktail choices (and brought a friend some fernet to taste for the first time). The highlight was definitely the bison tartar with the smoked trout mousse, a very unexpected combination of flavors that really worked. Will certainly be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't mind coming here once in awhile. I live within walking distance to Duo and will say it is one of the better sit down breakfast places in the area, but I would only dine here if it is convenient to you. The Denver Classic is one of my favorite dishes, they do have great dessert options as well. I would like to note that I have only tried their breakfast.

Yelp
This was our first time coming to Duo and we came to celebrate a birthday after reading amazing reviews and walking past many times and wow! It did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the server was extremely knowledgeable about both the food and drink offerings. They also have outdoor seating that seems perfect for a summer evening. For drinks, we had a Gin and Tonic and a Rye Your Heart Out- both delicious. We loved that they use all Colorado-made products, including liquor. For a starter, we had the Pea Pancakes. It came with 3 crispy pea pancakes with a bed of shrimp mixed with an aioli that had a slight kick to it. Very refreshing and light on a hot day. For main courses, we had the chicken schnitzel with herb spaetzle, the duo of lamb, and the pork chop. Everything was fresh, made to order and clearly very well curated! The portions were very generous and much bigger than you might expect for a restaurant like this. We strongly felt the portions and quality matched the prices. With dessert, we really struggled to choose an option as everything sounded delicious. We went with the lemon posset and it was the perfect way to end a big meal- fresh and light. The even took the dessert off our tab for our birthday celebration! If given the chance, everyone must check out Duo!!
google avatar

Catherine S.

Yelp
Our group of 5 was in Denver for the weekend celebrating my friend's birthday - she was so excited for this brunch here in particular based on the reviews, but BOY WERE WE IN FOR A WORLD OF DISAPPOINTMENT!! Aside from the hostess, there was no acknowledgment or any birthday wishes from the staff... and what is the point of making a reservation if you're seated immediately, buttttt your waitress is MIA so you can't even place an order for over an hour... if it wasn't a special occasion, I would've walked out after 30mins and even that is generous!! No acknowledgment or apology for the delay, never checked in to see if we were set or needed anything (we waited 30mins for a new knife after reminding the waitress at least 3x), I could go on. And yet I get the stank eye when I make a point not to say 'please' or 'thank you,' matching their energy - respect is deserved and this establishment laughably missed the mark today. Save yourself the time and money and go literally anywhere else!! Besides the subpar service, the food was nothing to write home about - the biscuit was dry, the potatoes too salty, and there was barely any pork on the PORK benedict. And the drinks were fine, I guess? Suffice to say, if I could give zero stars I would and we will NEVER come back here again
google avatar

Diana N.

Yelp
Lovely farm to table restaurant. I had the red trout which came with scallion olive oil potatoes, pickled charred pepper, fennel, and saffron aioli. For dessert had the chocolate French silk pie and poached pears. Everything was amazing and there were no leftovers! Street parking can be tough to find but if you walk a street or two you may be able to find something.

Yelp
Brunch was fantastic! The restaurant is super small but really cute. I went for brunch with a friend and both thought the food was excellent. We both had mimosas which tasted great and reasonably priced. My friend had the Sweet Sunday with some bacon and she loved it. The bread was a little crispy and hard to cut into at first but she still thought it was great. I had the Brussels and Ham Scramble and it was delicious. The eggs were super fluffy and the seasoning was perfect. The crispy potatoes were also on point. Really had a nice experience with great food and service. Looking forward to trying again.

Yelp
For Kel's birthday we went out to Duo in the highlands Denver. The restaurant is quant, very cozy atmosphere with an open view of the busy kitchen. We really enjoyed the environment and vibe of the place. We shared the asparagus toast appetizer which had a wonder truffle egg salad on top. Also with radishes, pea shoots, that herb pistou it was amazing and the perfect starter. We shared the Striped Bass with purple potatoes, tomato broth and sourdough gremolata. The Bass was cooked perfectly, skin was crispy and it melted in our mouth. The martinis were great!! Kelly enjoyed hers with a local Gin and extra dirty. El had the Moped by New Image in Arvada. Blood Orange and he thought it was very flavorful and delicious. We would highly recommend this place. The service was great too and we will return. #newimage #newimagebrewing #duorestaurant #denverreviews @food._brand @lifestylesofelandkel #lifestylesofelandkel #foodie #denberfood #resturants #resturantreviews #5280eats #denverfoodie #303foodie #moped #denver Follow us and our reviews on Insta @lifestylesofelandkel

Yelp
This place is a rare gem! Having only found it on Google I took my husband there on a Friday night for our anniversary. The service was flawless, the food was so interesting and perfectly prepared, the music was on low volume, and the staff went above and beyond to make our evening special. My new favorite restaurant!

Yelp
Duo Restaurant is a triple threat and here's why. Brunch - The Cider Pork Benedict is one of the finer brunch items I've had this year! The pork itself was succulent, juicy and tender. (yes, all three) The Ciabatta, crispy, crunchy and held up to the sauce. The mustard cream sauce was excellent, with a subtle tang to balance the savory pork. Served with potatoes, the end. Local, organic ingredients are implemented throughout the entire menu. I can only vouch for brunch, but it's a safe assumption they do this for their regular service menus as well. You can taste the difference in quality. Service - Just delightful. Two servers took care of us; one was in training. They were both bubbly and knowledgeable of the menu. More importantly, they were proud to work at Duo. And when a customer sees that, everything falls into place. Atmosphere - Loved the ability to see the kitchen from our table. The line cooks were churning out beautiful plates left and right. The exposed brick walls, kitschy placemats, and elegant tea cups allow Duo's true colors to shine. One of the best meals I've had since moving to Denver, so it's a guarantee I'll be back to work my way through the menu!

Todd H.

Yelp
Not a menu for everyone. Check the menu before you go as it might not be to your liking. I could not find anything on the menu I wanted to order. So I got a desert. I did try everyone else's items and several apps. It was all just ok. The toast on one app was hard as a rock and burnt, the chicken schnitzel was supper disappointing for $42 (Chick Fil A) would have been better. Then the added fees on the bills are hidden and disappointing. Just make the price on the menu the price people pay, sounds simple enough. Right? I loath all of the Denver restaurants doing mandatory tips. What if the service was bad? Tips should be the discretionary option of the customer. Nothing was bad but nothing was worth coming back for. Nice restaurant, nice ambiance, nice location, it just could all be better. Denver has soooo many other options.

Katie H.

Yelp
Met some friends at Duo, first time visit for all of us. I was about 15 minutes late to our dinner reservation thanks to traffic from the burbs and poor planning. Upon arrival 3 tables including ours were seated. Some reason despite the restaurant being empty with one server, a bartender and an unknown sized kitchen staff, every seated table was clustered into one small area. This is disappointing, I felt squished in our corner table when beyond the table behind me and the table to my left the entire place was empty. In a post pandemic Era it seems drink prices have really surged or maybe it's sticker shock from the lack of social outings in 2 years. Some of the drinks here are unique enough that the pricing seems justifiable, others I can't say I feel the same way. The menu is small, which often turns me off from a place. However, the food was flavorful in an unexpected way. Unfortunately, everything still felt overpriced compared to other dining experiences.

Yelp
We have been meaning to try Duo for some time now and finally had our first indoor brunch since the pandemic began. We were seated right on time and the tables had cute doors with glass windows separating the tables which added a level of privacy and safety. I had the challah french toast with apple cinnamon compote and my husband had the Denver Classic. Both were delicious! I would say my only critique is the portion size of the french toast plate and especially the side of cheesy grits we ordered were fairly small. The side of grits was in a little ramekin with just a handful or so. I suppose it is good for our spring diets though :).

Yelp
Love this restaurant! Dinner Was so yummy that we ended up coming back the next day for brunch! No joke food drinks service and atmosphere was great! Came here for my birthday dinner and had a great time even with following social distancing guidelines. We started of with some drinks including some of their specialty cocktails and Prosecco. For appetizers we ordered the mussels and the tomato and peaches. All were super tasty. For the main meal I had the Pasta special, tagliatelle Bolognese, which was amazing. For dessert we tried both the chocolate macadamia tart and the corn bread. Also soooo yummy. Came back the following morning for brunch which was AMAZING! Ordered the crab cakes, biscuit and gravy and the omelette. And had a mocha latte. Would 100% recommend coming here for any meal!

Yelp
I seriously cannot even handle how amazing our brunch experience was this past weekend. The mimosas were perfection. The cocktails to die for. And the food was bliss. Crowd favorite was definitely the Cider Pork Benedict followed closely by the Denver Classic. Wow. The pork was breaded and fried to absolute perfection and every bite was mouthwatering. I will say I was disappointed by the French Toast but our incredible service more than made up for it. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back for brunch and we definitely want to give dinner a try sometime!

Yelp
I love Duo. I hosted my mom's surprise 70th birthday here, and my mom gifted me a Duo gift certificate for my birthday, which is just so sweet. Moms are the best. Service is always excellent and the food is always good. Their menu rotates, so there have been menu items I love and menu items that haven't been my faves. We had brunch in one of the greenhouses outdoors--they open the roof and the door and we got there early so no one had recently been inside. It felt very COVID-safe. I wish we had gone on one of the recent cooler days as on a nice, warm, sunny day that thing is like a sauna! I had the challah french toast and french press (très français), and my husband had the chorizo scramble and a bloody mary. Everything was very good and filling. I miss the inside, but we'll get back there eventually once everyone gets their Fauci ouchies!

Yelp
Duo was a lovely spot to meet friends for brunch. The inside has a modern farmhouse vibe with a beautiful brick wall (I'm a sucker for a good brick wall) and window panes hung or used as dividers between some tables. I ordered the cider pork Benedict and some coffee. The real standout for me was the mustard hollandaise and the side of potatoes that came with the Benedict. The pork was good, but a tad dry. The eggs were cooked perfectly and added some great moisture to the pork. Our waitress was very attentive and offered suggestions when we asked. Overall, a solid brunch experience!

Yelp
Very good lamb almost are best, but only 4 pieces of carrots came with it. A tasty beer. The carrot purée soup was very flavorful with goat yogurt, arugula and slivered pickled beets. I wouldn't order the stuffed sweet potato pricey and spicy. Staff just okay.
