The Best Restaurants in Minneapolis’s North Loop

"Although sweets are the main event, Edwards Dessert Kitchen also offers a menu of small plates like truffled burrata and charcuterie boards, plus a full bar. The dessert lineup changes frequently, but expect to find exquisitely composed treats like pear and Riesling ice cream pie, black currant maple cheesecake, and a bruleed coconut rice pudding with mango tamarind sorbet. Many items are plant-based or gluten-free. Don’t forget to grab a chocolate brookie (a chocolate chip cookie/brownie hybrid) for later." - Stacy Brooks

13 Irresistible Dessert Spots in the Twin Cities

"Pastry chef Jasmine Weiser’s desserts are miniature works of art. A tropical Swiss roll is layered with mango cream and topped with a neat cap of coconut mousse; a berry pavlova is filled with bay leaf ganache. There are ice cream sundaes, cookies, and bars on the menu too." - Justine Jones, Stacy Brooks

The 25 Best Restaurants In Minneapolis 2024

"Head to this dessert-focused cafe after dinner in the North Loop. The unique treats are worth the long line, even if you have to squeeze into a space at the bar. Some favorites include the rhubarb and custard ice cream pie, Rocher mousse with hazelnut chocolate cake, and the plant-based chocolate sorbet sundae. Get a brookie to enjoy later, and pair your treats with a glass of bubbly or the Carajillo cocktail made with Spanish liqueur and espresso for a post-dinner caffeine bump." - stacy brooks

Google
Edwards Dessert Kitchen is an awesome spot if you're craving a sweet treat! I've visited a handful of times and I'm always impressed with their incredible (and beautiful!) desserts and cocktails. Plus, their staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is very cool and comfortable. On my most recent visit, my partner and I tried their espresso washed negroni and this was super unique and delicious, I highly recommend it! The blackcurrant maple cheesecake I ordered was also divine—a perfect texture and spectacular to look at. I haven't seen another spot quite like this in the Twin Cities and it's perfect for a date night or pick me up. It had been a little while since I'd visited and going back made me remember why I love it! I'll definitely be paying another visit again soon.

Google
This is a charming spot! I came here last week to grab a quick dessert. The overall ambiance is so pretty! It’s very spacious, with tons of seating. When I arrived around 8:00 p.m., the place was packed, making it extremely hard to find seating for two. I ordered the blackberry dessert, and my partner ordered the rhubarb ice cream pie. I also ordered the chocolate mousse cake to go. The price for the two items was around 35ish, which is a little pricey for the size, but the presentation is impeccable, and it makes sense regarding the price point. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Blackberry dessert, as I felt it was super light and didn't have much flavor. I did love the rhubarb pie! It was phenomenal. I also didn’t like the chocolate cake a lot. I felt it wasn’t as flavorful as it should have been, so overall, I think the deserts can be a hit or miss depending on your preference; however, the presentation of the deserts is a 10/10. I would definitely return as it’s a cute space to socialize and grab a treat and/or cocktail. They also have coffee and ice cream available so there's tons of options for everyone.

Google
I liked this place. I’m not big on sweets but the drinks were exceptional. Street parking might be a bit rough if it’s a busy day. We went on a low traffic day and sat at the booth and loved people watching. Might be a bit overpriced in my opinion but a good spot to come visit.

Google
Really enjoyed the desserts at Edward’s Dessert Kitchen! The chocolate dome was rich and delicious, and the mousse was super creamy and smooth. The ice cream was creamy, smooth, and so satisfying. The ambience was cozy and elegant, a great spot to relax and treat yourself. A sweet little gem in the city!

Google
Very nice place for dessert. The Chocolate Sorbet Sundae was very rich, but very delicious. The Tropical Japanese Cheesecake Sundae was refreshing and delicious! However, the Blackcurrent Maple Cheesecake was disappointing. The blackcurrant aspects were very tart and distracted from the other parts of the dessert. Definitely check this place out :)

Google
I love a good dessert but we don't always get them because most restaurants have the same boring desserts. But not here. The desserts on offer were beautiful, varied but more importantly, delicious! I ordered the blackcurrant cheesecake. Yum-my! The unexpected burst of flavor is so welcome in such a common dessert as cheesecake. Mybsister got the Rocher mousse which had hazelnut flavor in it. Decadent and rich! We also took home a Brown Butter Blondie which was a nice mixture of caramel flavors though how one can eat the whole bar, I don't know. It's very sweet! Overall, there are many more desserts to try here and I'll definitely come back!

Google
Hip little spot with fantastic ice-cream, cookies, cheesecake, coffee, etc Pros: Best desserts in the neighborhood Cons: Price: Expect to pay around $50 for two people (2 mini cheesecakes + 2 coffees) Seating availability: Expect to wait for a table (or just stand) if it's a normal weekend evening Server attitudes: Not sure how *everyone* responds, but two of the staff members acted like they were inconvenienced by us for 1) ordering and 2) paying. (We weren't holding up the line or delaying, and yet felt rudely answered - or just given the "silent treatment". 🤷)

Google
Such a vibe! Great service, delicious food! Fun little aesthetic vibe in the place too. This has been on my list to get to for a while and it was everything and more than I expected. Such a cute place. You place your order at the counter and then can pick from tables or the bar to sit at. Service was terrific, everyone was so friendly and helpful and had great recommendations. I hope to be back many more times! 🍰

Yelp
We were there three times in two days and tried 7 different items. Everything was a decadent treat, and we cannot wait to come back to "kill" the rest items on the menu soon. The Blueberry Buttermilk cheesecake is everyone's favorite. It's fruity and creamy, definitely a must-try if it's your first time here. The passion fruit pie and raspberry Thai Basil mousse are delightful if you don't want to go too heavy on the cream. If you like chocolate mousse, you'll love Rocher Mousse, if you hate chocolate mousse, you might still like Rocher mousse, as it's silky smooth inside and thin crispy outside, not the typical heavy chocolate mousse you might have had elsewhere. Last but not least, many interesting twists are perfectly done, such as Chinese five spices snickerdoodles, tarragon olive oil ice cream, coriander &salted caramel ice cream if you like to venture out for the unusual. Amazing stuff!

Yelp
Meh.... You know how sometimes places make things too fancy to prove they know what they're doing? Everything here has 1 too many ingredients. Plus there's an abundance of white chocolate which is sugar LYING about being chocolate. Got a super pretty blueberry cheesecake thingie but it was mid as hell

Yelp
Loved loved loved! My first note - THEY HAVE SAVORY FOODS TOO haha. This surprised a few people in my party, but was great news! We stopped by for a small-bite dinner, drinks and desserts of course. Everything we had was unbelievably good and reasonably priced. I wish I remembered everything I ordered hahaha, but I really don't think you can go wrong with what you order here! The service was OUTSTANDING. We sat at the bar (highly recommend). The bartender serviced us so we didn't have to go up to the counter. He was so playful and even poured us a few free drinks throughout the night. Adorable place that can hold more people than you think! We had no problem getting a seat around 7pm on a Saturday!
google avatar

Olabisi P.

Yelp
Love love love this place. It's been on my list for a while but just couldn't make it out there Luckily I found some time on a Saturday to go! I had low expectations of the interior but was blown away with how pretty it is. My friend and I ended up sitting at a bay window with lots of sunlight. I'm adding this to my survive winter kit lol The service was good although I'll take one star off because they took a long time to bring out the dip. And I think they forgot to make it. But that's minor. They did check in on us several times I got a chocolate cake and my friend got the lavender cheesecake. Both were divine and the cheesecake was so pretty to eat. I also got a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie for later and it was so yummy. I had a chai latte which was pretty good. The dip was warm and lovely and yummy as well. Parking is a bit difficulty because it's in north loop obviously. Plan for this if you come here cause you will want to stay awhile. It looks like they have a full bar as well so might be a good spot to check out if going for drinks.
google avatar

Daquynh N.

Yelp
Great desserts, but be prepared to pay 13 bucks per dessert. The drinks we got were ok, nothing crazy. My friend didn't like the sour of the hibiscus tea drink.
google avatar

Michaela S.

Yelp
Cutest high-end dessert place ever. Love a good sweet treat! I love Edwards Dessert Kitchen for a special treat. It's expensive but it's worth it because the desserts are so intricate and well made. Expect to pay $12-16 for each dessert. They rotate their items pretty much weekly so you can always try something new. Some items are seasonal as well! The staff is super knowledgeable too so don't be afraid to ask questions. Beautiful interior, great for pictures. Metered parking or paid lots near by.
google avatar

Paige O.

Yelp
One of the best places to get desserts in town! The desserts are so pretty and taste as good as they look. I have always come and gotten stuff to go, but they have such a cute sit down area that is always packed with people. On my last trip there I got the chocolate creme pie and the pear chai creme puff. SO GOOD. The creme puff was to die for. I am a chocolate girl so the fact it had no chocolate in it and I loved it this much was insane. Just come here and get anything, I don't think you can go wrong here!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for desert after dinner downtown and got the key lime inspired pie! It had a blackberry jelly base, lime mousse and the winner was the graham cracker white chocolate crumbles on top! Love that they have signs on tables that tell you to order first before holding a table. This is a busy spot! Great vibes, they had a good crowd and had fast service
google avatar

Wendy F.

Yelp
Cute little high end dessert spot. Great for dates and cute hangouts with friends. You order at the counter first and then you get to find a table. Seems like it can get pretty packed quickly. Passion fruit pie was delicious, not too sweet, and really rich in flavor.
google avatar

Laurine N.

Yelp
It was very delicious. This was a nice, fun, well-lit place. Had cute little desserts. Next time I'll try the Blondie
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
The options are many even for those of us who are GF! Three of us went after brunch & we each had an alcoholic beverage & dessert; total was ~$100. The desserts are amazing. It does work to order at the counter so you can see what looks amazing in the case.
google avatar

Kasey S.

Yelp
FOOD: Both the desserts and drinks here are great! They are definitely on the pricey side, but are top notch. The dessert cheesecakes are incredible, and have a great variety of cocktails. SERVICE: Great service here! The bartender is so kind and awesome. He created a drink right in front of me tailored to my likings! He told me some fun stories too:) AMBIANCE: The vibe in the dessert kitchen is really cool. They have fun booths, but it is kind of a tight squeeze in there, as it tends to be really crowded. You might have to wait a bit to find a table or sit at the bar. LOCATION/PARKING: The restaurant is in the North Loop, which is the best area in Minneapolis. Very walkable if you live downtown, but parking might be difficult to find.

Yelp
Edwards is an awesome stop for coffee and dessert! Most recently, I went after dinner in the area and tried out the Maple Blackcurrant Cheesecake and Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie. There are also some desserts in the fridge ready to grab and go. I LOVED the cheesecake! The sweetness is perfectly balanced by the tart blackcurrant. Yum! There are tons of cute spots to sit, plenty of drink options, and savory food as well. You can also see the team hard at work in the kitchen making beautiful desserts!

Yelp
The best vanilla ice cream you will ever have in your life. I'm not kidding. It tastes like creme brûlée mixed in ice cream form. Also a great spot to grab a cocktail and meet up with your friends. 12/10
google avatar

Elly P.

Yelp
Great place! Great ambiance. Out of this world looking desserts. Very well made. Taste as good as it looks. I had the rose one it's perfect. Not overly sweet. Has rose smell without tasting like soap. Also had a cocktail "wrathifadonis" Well made and not overly sweet nice spicy kick! Great balance. Great place to catch up with friends
google avatar

Markeda D.

Yelp
When we ordered our pastries it was fast and easy, we found seating in the lobby fast although it was a little packed. We ordered an oat milk latte and I really enjoyed how it complimented the blueberry and butter milk cheesecake. Also really liked the Hazelnut rocher mousse, it is such a pretty space to enjoy a variety of different things However parking is paid street only. Yet still, I cannot wait to visit again!

Aurora P.

Yelp
What a treat!! There are many desserts to choose from! Both desserts I've tried were amazing! Also enjoyed the Negroni. So impressed with the atmosphere and service that I'll be back! Have also purchased a gift card for some friends to enjoy Edwards Dessert Kitchen when they visit North Loop!
google avatar

Chasity M.

Yelp
We stopped here after eating dinner a few blocks away. It was a short walk and well worth walking in the chilling wind. As soon as you walk in you see the counter to order your desserts and the bar is on the left. I got the blueberry cheesecake and my husband got a passion fruit pie. As far as drinks, he got an old fashion and I ordered an espresso martini. Everything was delicious and the decor was cute, well lit and inviting.
google avatar

Greg W.

Yelp
Some of the best patisserie in the cities; hands down. Everything is a great mix of flavor, texture, and presentation. They're open evenings on weekdays and afternoons in the weekends until pretty late so it's a good place to wind down the night with a coffee and dessert. The staff is always super nice and helpful with any questions. Their food and cocktails are also fantastic and I'd recommend it for a "pregame" place if that's your jam. Super trendy atmosphere with neon signs, airy seating, and lots of plants. We got the berry pavlova and it was amazing. Perfect pavlova with a crisp shell and marshmallow interior. Nice sharp blackberry mousse in a razor thin berry-chocolate shell filled with a delicious blueberry and blackberry compote.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing desserts! I love the atmosphere. It's super cute and has great vibes. Good place for a first date or a girls night. I've even gone and just picked up because I was craving some good chocolate. Definitely a great place to stop when in North Loop.
google avatar

Yelp
Skip the desert at your restaurant and save space for this place on your next night out. You've gotta love sweets and libations in one place. Eduardo Desert Kitchen has a fresh open vibe with an amazing home made selection of deserts and unique cocktails. This is a great place to finish off your evening.
google avatar

Janae J.

Yelp
Awesome place!! Beautiful dessert and I love that they're open later in the evening! It was the perfect stop on the way home from the U. They were so sweet and helpful too and got to try a sample of one of the ice creams! If you need a treat yo self moment this is definitely where you need to go!
google avatar

Camille C.

Yelp
Mind blown I can't begin to explain. It's really difficult to decide which one(s). Choice will be the hardest part of your visit. We got 5. To go. We split them all over a few days. Completely intoxicating. It's spendy. But completely worth every Penny. Highly recommend. Don't save for only special occasions. Treat yourself. Go now.

Yelp
Great weekend brunch spot especially for those who are or have friends who are vegan/dairy free! The atmosphere feels classy, fun, and chic. There are no reservations, which usually means waiting for a table, but we found one here (on a Saturday around noon) with no issues. For a place marketed as a dessert kitchen, I was surprised by the number of savory items on the menu. Everything we ordered was wonderful! My favorite item of them all was the red wine pot roast slider - the sauce was delicious! There are so many options here that are vegan-friendly, our dairy-free friend was ecstatic. Edwards Dessert Kitchen has a menu for plated items but also various treats in the case upfront by the register, so it is easy to take things on the go if desired. Of course, parking can be hit or miss especially on the weekend but that is just the nature of the location - which is near lots of other little shops and eateries. The only negative to this place is that it does come with a slightly higher price tag but for the occasional fun brunch, it is more than worth it.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
My favorite place to get dessert in the north loop! They also have a cocktail bar with real food, as well as ice cream - but haven't tried those yet. I really like their chocolate mousse-y cakes that are super rich, but I also appreciate the fruitier options that are more tart than sweet. So they cater to all palates! It can get crowded on weekends, but they do have additional outside seating in the summer.
google avatar

Jenny V.

Yelp
Great vibes and lively atmosphere Order what you want from the display and pay at the end. Napkins and utensils are self-serve Service was great at the bar I recommend getting the baked and displayed desserts Sampled the ice cream flavors and it's very different...try for yourself
google avatar

Yelp
I am the definition of a dessert person, so I've been admiring Edwards from afar until I got the chance to try it this past weekend! Located across from Red Rabbit in North Loop, it's the perfect spot for a cool cocktail/dessert lounge and central to a lot of other restaurants. We came here after an anniversary dinner in the area! The inside is super cool, almost like an above-ground speakeasy vibe. The bar is beautiful and definitely an eye catcher. I love the exposed brick and didn't even realize they had an actual food menu as well! I was surprised to see the dessert case more off to the side since it is a "dessert kitchen". The options here are extensive and rotate, so if you like something make sure you try it! A friend had recommended me a dish that was no longer on the menu. Staff was very kind and the coffee my boyfriend ordered came out quick. We ordered 3 different desserts and a coffee coming out to $32, which is pretty fair for the high quality desserts. We ordered the Snack Cake, Brown Butter Blondie & Lemon Chestnut Dessert Jar. All three were phenomenal! Surprisingly my favorite was the Brown Butter Blondie (I'm a chocolate girl at heart). It was salty, sweet and rich - you would think it would be bland by the picture, but it was nothing but flavor! The snack cake was a delicious chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and a chocolate shell. The cake was incredibly moist and the buttercream silky, not too rich either! Only downside was the chocolate shell was so stiff it was hard to bite/cut into. Think of a Portillos Chocolate Cake, but elevated. Finally, the lemon dessert jar was light and a great palette cleanser with the two rich baked goods. It was so refreshing and summery! Overall, will definitely be back to try some more treats, but also want to try a drink or bite to eat!

Yelp
When I first moved here 4.5 years ago, Edwards was one of the first restaurants that was recommended to me. It took a while, but I finally made it - and it did not disappoint! First, they have a fully stocked bar and small plates, which was a surprise to me because I thought they only served desserts! They also moonlight as a coffee shop with unique lattes, which as a lover of coffee shops, was a perfect bonus. Their desserts are works of art. From ice cream to cakes to cookies, there are sweets to combat any craving. They even have a few bagged caramels if your in the mood for candy. I ordered a one scoop with two flavors - carrot cake ice cream and guava citrus saffron sorbet. I tried more than half of the eight (or was it ten?) flavors, from staples like vanilla bean to creative pairings like cardamom salted caramel (not a fan), I appreciated the variety even if I didn't love them all. I ordered the Blackberry caramel latte with oat milk, iced. I was hesitant going with oat milk, which was right because I should've went with whole, the oat milk over powered whatever flavor the latte was supposed to have. If dont have dietary restrictions, I'd recommend going with whole. The vide is posh meets chill. The dinning area is pretty big given the type of establishment. The chairs are all velvet with rich jewel tones, which makes it a great after dinner date spot or girls night pregame. The staff was super friendly, conversational and patient as I sampled a ton and asked questions.
google avatar

Raj D.

Yelp
Coriander Caramel ice cream. Sounds crazy right? Would you believe it was so good that my lady friend who is not a Caramel fan (I know, we are still together despite this... I am waay forgiving) sampled it and said... Oh that's excellent. So we both got some. Yum, yum, yum.

Yelp
Forgive me for being superficial- I love pretty things - walking past their velour blue curtain that protects from the cold and at the same time presents you this lovely space as soon as you walk in is quite charming. It's like walking in a set of Elle Decor. Pictures do not quite describe the sensation of stepping into this space. We had the exotic ice cream pie - it's a sorbet of pineapple with a hint of coconut. The crust is very good. Next is the mango lassi which has a distinctive cardamom aftertaste. Love the white chocolate icing. You can taste quality in every bite of both desserts. I love this place.

Yelp
Visiting area on a Friday night! I don't know where to begin, the customer service was impeccable, options were plentiful and the desserts were so good and rich!! What did we order: -coffee -Ferrer Rocher Mouuse 10/10 but very rich - I forgot the name but it was like a Russian tea cake cookie bar 10/10 They have everything and it's the perfect spot for your post dinner dessert or just stop in for a cocktail! They have a full bar and an excellent bartender who can make almost anything you request! We saw espresso martinis on the menu and a lot of people ordering them! Next time I will try, it seemed like a favorite! This spot is perfect for a first date or a casual gathering with some friends! Just do yourself a favor and go!! 10/10

Yelp
I recently visited Edwards Dessert Kitchen in Minneapolis, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for my sweet tooth. This charming establishment offers a haven for dessert lovers with its exquisite array of treats, warm ambiance, and impeccable service. Each creation is a masterpiece that showcases the creativity and skill of the pastry chefs. Whether you're a fan of classic desserts or looking to try something innovative. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm, inviting, and perfect for indulging. While Edwards Dessert Kitchen may be on the pricier side, the quality of the desserts and the overall experience justifies every penny spent.

Yelp
The desserts were HEAVENLY. The ice cream was the perfect consistency, the cone was literally so good (loved the entire chocolate interior), and the cheesecake was light and flavorful! Loved the vibes of. Dessert and wine bar. Classy and sophisticated in a fun date night type of way, while kinda keeping it casual! The servers were so friendly and fast with giving us what we wanted and answering questions!

Yelp
We stopped here after a delicious dinner at Red Rabbit. We were thrilled to see this novel dessert/bar establishment. You order at the counter and then sit down in a cute dining area. We were not sure exactly how the process worked so were a little slow to order. Instead of helping us out, the young woman behind the counter simply stared blankly at us. We let a young man go in front of us while we decided. When we were ready to order, we were ignored. After I made eye contact with the counter person, she was clearly reluctant to help us. We placed our order. My husband wanted a dish with three scoops of ice cream. He was told "we can't do three, only two". Not a big deal, but kind of weird. Then we were given a number for the table. It turned out that my husband wasn't charged for my dessert. The same counter person came over to tell us- we had just been saying to ourselves that something seemed off with the bill and told her that of course we will pay it and took out his credit card. She said no he had to come to the counter again to pay it. Again, no big deal. But, when my husband made a gentle joke about not being able to get three scoops and not being charged correctly, (believe me- it was gentle, gracious and good-humored) the young woman answered with a passive-aggressive, condescending and rude manner. This man makes a friend of every server he has ever had and is an extremely generous tipper. This employee disliked us from the start and clearly did not believe we belonged there. My husband's ice cream was delicious and his Queen's Serum cocktail was nice. My peach Melba sundae was not good. Or maybe just not what I expected. It was huge and too sweet. I love the idea of this place but probably won't come back.

Yelp
Cute dessert-focused spot. Came here to dodge the rain one Saturday afternoon and had a lovely time. The four of us settled into a booth with a desert of choice and latte, and the atmosphere was chill. You order at the counter first and the. They bring out your order to your number. They have a bar with bar seating inside as well. Indoor seating only. Single occupant restrooms available in the back left. Credit cards accepted. The Rocher Mousse cake looked quite aesthetic and the matcha latte I had was comforting. The pistachio cookie was alright. They have sorbet as well. It was a nice place to come to after brunch.

Yelp
I saw the poached pear dessert from Edwards on someone's "must eats" list recently, so I knew I had to try it. WOW! This dessert is tiny but mighty. At $13 I was skeptical how it could live up to the price, but this tiny work of art was so incredibly delicious I had no regrets. The inside of Edwards is super nice and would be a perfect spot to meet up with friends or a date & get dessert or drinks!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a cute place to come grab a dessert with friends or on a date night. I had the blueberry cheesecake, rhubarb custard pie, and the lemon grass banana cream pie. I love that this place is dedicated to just desserts and drinks. It has such an awesome atmosphere and the desserts I was able to try were really good. Because they had a lot of options to try on I asked for a recommendation and they were all very tasty. Very great service and desserts! I tried the Paloma drink and it was not it. It was just something that did not sit well her other than that really great spot.
google avatar

Yelp
A few girlfriends and I came here after dinner for some coffee and dessert. There were so many great gluten and dairy free options on the menu. The service was speedy and friendly. The ambience is very cute and chill. Will definitely be going back!

Yelp
I love coming in to try the seasonal desserts. Staff and friendly and sweets are delicious every time.

Yelp
We love edwards!!!! There is NOTHING on the menu that can go wrong here, order it all in one stop or come back multiple times. From the staff to the menu, we can't decide which one we love more and we are so happy they are back and open in NOLO. Our favorites: Espresso Martini All the Mocktails (best in TC) All the cookies - the matcha cookie is surprisingly delicious All the ice cream - especially the coconut cookies and crème Friendly reminder if you don't grab a spot at the bar that you will walk in, order at the counter and get a number so they know where to bring your items once they are ready. Just get it all and say hi to Al at the bar!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite dessert spots in North loop! Also - both conveniently great and dangerous that it's a short walk from my apartment, but I love all the desserts here. They're always creative and have a good mix of dessert types (cheesecakes, mouse, etc.) and their gelato is amazing as well. There is usually seating available, although it does get crowded pretty quickly so I would recommend coming during their early hours or try to snag a table before you order (maybe have one person order and one person man the table hah). Overall, it's a spot I always bring visitors to! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The best icecream in MN. I eat a lot of icecream and it should explain everything about this place.

Yelp
It's the perfect after dinner stop to make! We had the Rocher mousse and the dark chocolate sorbet with a cuppa coffee and it was the perfect way to end a night! We've been back there a few times after that and this place never disappoints! I would recommend getting their desserts with some coffee since they are really really rich!

Yelp
What a wonderful place to hang and have a coffee and dessert!! The Brown Butter Blondie was amazing!!!! If you have time before or after whatever you have planned downtown, give yourself time to stop over to Edwards Dessert Kitchen.

Yelp
OVERALL: Crafty and upscale desserts & delicious cocktails? Sign me up! This is definitely a place to impress your friends. DRINKS: So many different options. I got the electric lady land and it is a better version of your typical espresso cocktail. The little sea salt on top just adds another depth to this drink. The other fruity options are delicious as well! DESSERTS: The giant strawberry was had a lot of aspects to it. It's hard shell, filled with strawberry filling & shortcake like cake. There is also a shortbread cookie underneath as well. The chocolate Brookie has that tasty dark chocolate and sea salt combination as well. PRICES: Each of the drinks were $14, and the desserts ranged from $5-7 for the cookies and $12 for the more upscale desserts. ATMOSPHERE: A fun spot in north loop with comfortable seating. I recommend the bar! STAFF: The service was EXCELLENT here. Even on a busy night, they made sure to stop by and ensure that everything was going well for us.

Yelp
After dinner, my friend and I were craving something sweet. Without knowing such place existed, we googled "desserts near me" then this place was the nearest and top suggestion. When we arrived, there was a line all the way outside and we decided to wait in it. We waited about 30 mins in line until we were up front ordering. I was craving something tart and not too rich, so chocolate was not an option for me at this point. I went for the blueberry cheesecake and OMG you guys! It was PERFECT. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Good consistency. Excellent presentation. It tasted so creamy with perfect tart flavor to it... best $12 I've spent on a dessert. Overall, our experience was great. Long wait but it's totally worth it! The ambience and vibe is on point too. Ideal for a date night or quick sweet, yet impressive, bite!

Yelp
This is such a great place to meet up with friends for dessert and drinks! We got the mango lassi cheesecake and it was both delicious and beautiful! All of the desserts were gorgeous and they have ice cream and small plates as well. The place was packed so be sure to get a table right away, because it's first come first serve and it won't be available for long! They rotate the menu all the time, this was my third visit and they always have something new to try! I love this place!

Yelp
A fantastic date spot where everything is as cute as the company you bring along. If you come with an appetite, try one of the warm small plates. But of course leave room for the desserts. Everything on display is a work of art and tastes just as good. The PB&J plated dessert blew me away. I had no idea what to expect from the presentation and taste, but it was fantastic from start to finish.

Yelp
I am so glad I went here during my trip. It truly was decadent AF. I checked out the pastry case and the employees (there were a ton working and it wasn't busy) were SO helpful and very friendly. I opted for the thing that looked like a giant strawberry with pink icing. Inside was cream and a strawberry jam that melted my tastebuds into a pool of pleasure. I absolutely savored each bite. It was sooo good I could eat this every day but my bank acct (it's $12) and my A1C would probably hate that lol. I also got a oolong tea that was ooo good :) You simply MUST go here! I seriously will save money to return to the twin cities just for this place lol.

Yelp
Edwards Dessert Kitchen has a very cute atmosphere and had a lot of dessert and drink options. When entering the restaurant, you first order, and then sit down. The ordering didn't take too long and you can see all of the desserts. They had a lot of gluten free options and I didn't get sick from the Chocolate Crème Pie or the Snack Cake. I preferred the Crème Pie over the Snack Cake because it was a richer chocolate. I gave it a 4 because some of the desserts were a little pricey and parking was difficult the night we went. Overall, I would go back!
