Fleurs Et Sel - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’re a member of the underbaked cookie fan club, consider Fleurs Et Sel your headquarters. This pastel pink-walled shop serves cookies that are perfect for those who can’t stop themselves from eating cookie dough out of the mixing bowl. Flavors rotate every few weeks and often have fancy French names, like Cocoa Beurre Brownie and Napolitaine Petit-Trois. The Nutella Framboise is the richest of the bunch and is packed with extra gooeyness from the dark chocolate chunks, Nutella, and French raspberry chocolate." - Cathy Park

Best Dishes Eater Editors Ate This Week: February 3 | Eater LA

"A compact cookie operation opened in March 2024 directly across the street from Tartine West Adams by owner Lara Adekoya, evolving from a 2020 home pop-up and drawing steady lines daily. Expect a rotating cookie menu that ranges from intense to delicate — Funfetti birthday cake in a sugar cookie shell, espresso Oreo, peanut butter and Nutella chocolate, and a simple, lovely oatmeal chocolate chip walnut among them. Regulars return for Adekoya's ability to keep her cookies on the not-too-sweet spectrum while experimenting with fresh flavors and techniques. The 'oatmeal baddie' is described as packing such dense structure that the treat might buckle in hand, and the oatmeal chocolate walnut is large enough to share and best paired with coffee; pre-ordering is recommended to avoid missing out." - Eater Staff

15 Black-Owned Pop-Ups Across LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"After being furloughed from her job at Nordstrom at the start of the pandemic, CEO and founder of Fleurs Et Sel, Lara Adekoya, turned to baked goods. All of her flavors, like soft oatmeal raisin cookies made with fine chopped walnuts, pistachio and raspberry amours peppered with hints of whie chocolate, and Yaya’s Birthday Cake cookie, a white chocolate and sprinkles confection perfect for any celebration (birthday or not), can all be ordered through Fleurs Et Sel’s website. Check their Instagram for pop-up dates." - kat hong

The 13 Best Underrated Bakeries in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Owner and baker Lara Adekoya started her pop-up in 2020 by baking cookies and layered cookie bars in flavors like sea salt chocolate chip and Funfetti birthday cake. Adekoya opened a brick-and-mortar location in March 2024 directly across the street from the West Adams Tartine." - Mona Holmes

Fleur de Sel Cookie Shop Opens a West Adams Window This Month | Eater LA

"I’m excited that Fleurs et Sel is set to open in West Adams toward the end of March with a full bakery and a walk-up window where I can score small-batch cookies that rotate flavors each week; owner and baker Lara Adekoya started Fleurs et Sel as a pop-up in 2020, baking cookies and layered cookie bars in flavors like sea salt chocolate chip and Funfetti birthday cake, hosted pop-ups throughout the Southland, and launched a 2023 GoFundMe to fund a customized space at the corner of West Adams Boulevard and Cochran (directly across from Tartine); the sign was just installed, online ordering and pick-up are expected in a few weeks if all goes smoothly, and scheduled hours will be 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until cookies sell out." - Mona Holmes
