Cozy, bring-your-own-wine hangout serving classic Italian eats and gluten-free options.
"This is a classic BYOB that has been the staple for diners in Midtown Village and beyond, For years, Chef/Owner Giorgio Giuliani has been serving up traditional Italian cuisine (such as spaghetti a la vodka, veal with prosciutto, and bucatini) but with a sensitivity for providing gluten-free pasta options, seasonal ingredients, and a more dietary-flexible menu for all." - Ernest Owens
"All of the pasta (such as their spaghetti a la vodka, gnocchi, and bucatini) at this Midtown Village restaurant are under $20, with most entrées (such as their veal with prosciutto and stuffed chicken breast) under $30. As if things couldn’t get better, Giorgio On Pine is completely BYOB — so bring a bottle of fine wine to pair with these Italian classics." - Eater Staff, Ernest Owens

"Giorgio On Pine in Washington Square West feels like the default template for every Italian BYOB in Philly: lots of red sauce, people complaining about the Isgro line, and service so warm that you’ll invite your server to your cat’s birthday party. On their best nights, you’ll encounter lemon overpowering the demi glaze on sauteed veal and ravioli in a creamy tomato basil sauce that’s better than average. While nothing here is worth crossing town for, they have generous portions, lots of vegetarian options, and every pasta can be made gluten-free. So, it makes sense to head here when you’re nearby, need lots of dietary options for your group of friends, and your craving for pasta is undeniable. Just don’t forget the wine. photo credit: RACHEL LERRO" - Candis R. McLean
