We were only in Boston for a short time and went here for a Mother’s Day lunch. It was incredible having a menu of all vegan/vegetarian meals as most restaurants do not have a lot of veggie options usually when dining out. We were overwhelmed by the choice! We got the “Happy Family” dish with rice, fried tofu dumplings, imitation shrimp with stir fry veggies, a rice noodle dish and even a vegan cheesecake slice.
The dining area is more of a food court style seating in a building with a few other restaurants inside. It’s not fancy but that does not bother us. They have disposable cups for water, but they still serve you hot tea and bring the food to the table, as well as cleaning the table afterwards. The server and kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating.
If we were staying in Boston longer we would definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. This is an excellent choice of restaurant if you are looking for something low key for a group with vegetarian or vegan dietary restrictions. They have a lot of imitation meat options so it’s great for meat lovers who are looking to try something different too!
