Dining in Sandy Springs | Eater Atlanta

"Chef Peter Kaiser’s come a long way. Actually, a long several ways. First, there was his move from his childhood home of Liechtenstein to Switzerland, and then the States. And finally, his move from Buckhead Life’s Italian masterpiece Pricci to Sandy Springs in a collaboration with Kevin Rathburn. All of which to say, this shop’s got some chops. From walls of wine to a bar with oversized chairs, dark walls, and wooden tables, the vibe is a modern interpretation of a classic steakhouse. Order the lamb lollipops a la carte or smoked salmon potato skins to start, then move on to peppercorn-crusted duck breast, parmesan-crusted veal chops, or the obvious choice, steaks. Complimentary valet parking is available." - Su-Jit Lin

Best Steakhouses in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"After spending over 30 years working at some of Atlanta’s best restaurants, it’s safe to say Liechtenstein native Peter Kaiser knows steak. At his eponymous restaurant in Sandy Springs, a collaboration with the acclaimed Kevin Rathburn, diners enjoy humorously named courses made with serious intent. For example, under Hot Deliciousness (Shared or Not), thick bacon grilled with sugar and chile and Thin & Raw (Strong Like the Oak Tree) beef carpaccio. Follow that with prize selections of steaks like barrel-cut filet, dry-aged Kansas City strip, and Prime Spinalis. Reservations highly encouraged." - Su-Jit Lin

We had a dinner reservation for a party of 2 at 7:00 pm on Thursday, 3/6/25. Complementary valet. We were celebrating a birthday, and they definitely made it special! The host who seated us and our waiter wished us a happy birthday. The free cheesy bread was good, but I wish it was warm! I could’ve done without the everything-seasoned crackers though. We shared 2 appetizers, we each got our own steak, and we shared 3 sides. We had some leftovers! Here’s what we got: - Scallop Appetizer (special, $22): Very good! - Burrata with Prosciutto (special, $15): I wish the burrata was richer, but it wasn’t bad! - Barrel Cut Beef Filet, 6 oz. ($45): Had a nice char on it, but I would’ve appreciated seasoning. - Spinalis, Ribeye Cap (special, $72): Same as above. - Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($10): Very oily; tasted good, but too much oil for our liking. - Truffled Potato Gratin ($10): Fine. - Big Elbow Mac & Cheese ($10): This was our favorite side; super good!! - Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie for 2 (normally $12, but on the house as a birthday treat): OMG, still dreaming of this; absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Michael, was amazing! When he gave us the dessert menu, he said, “We would love if yo would indulge us and let us treat you to a dessert of your choice.” I really appreciated this because it took the guessing out of if they would comp the dessert or not and we got to choose the one we wanted!! All-star service. Overall, good food, great service. Good for date night, celebrating special occasions, and for large meat-eating groups. We’d go back!

I was really excited to try this place after seeing it featured on Adult Swim, but overall, the food lacked flavor. My first steak was burnt on the outside, and when I got a replacement, it was disappointingly bland, same with the sauce it came with. For the first time in a long time, I actually needed to reach for the salt and pepper. The truffle potatoes were also underwhelming. I could barely taste any truffle. They did let me switch them out for the broccolini, and while they warned me it was on the bland side, it was decent for veggies. Still needed salt and pepper, though. The one dish I genuinely enjoyed was the thick-cut bacon appetizer. It was flavorful, and I liked the kick from the chilis. As for the service, I was very pleased. The staff checked in often and were quick to address any issues. I just wish that for the price of the meal, the food had lived up to it.

Google
I'm glad someone recommended this place to us. I had no idea it was even there. My husband took me out for my birthday. We made reservations, but needed to push them back about 40 minutes. They easily accommodated our request. Valeting was easy. We had a great seat. The food and drinks were phenomenal. Dessert was stellar. The only not so great thing was that it was really dark inside. But aside from that... it was perfect.

Hidden gem 💎 in Sandy Springs. The food was 😋 delicious and fresh. Our server Joseph was knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely dine again.

Google
Great experience. Atlanta Eats was spot on again!!! We had a wide assortment of appetizers. I had the fried lobster tail. It was small but cooked to perfection. We had a large shrimp cocktail. Huge shrimp. We also had the tempura shrimp. Large shrimp. The fish of the day was Alaskan Halibut. It's very flakey and has great taste. I had the 2 lbs Tomahawk steak. 30 days aged. Great flavor. We had a six ounce rib eye. Great flavor. All the side dishes were great. Try the asparagus. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant and I'll go back. There is plenty of parking and excellent service.

Google
Another fine meal and experience at Keiser’s. “Impeccable”. Very nice mix of flat and fascia bread. Great salads, beautiful wine selection. Steaks and sides were perfect. The bolognese pasta was out of this world. And not the usual small cheesecake, but large and tasty offering. What great service from hostess to waitstaff to junior services. Great work team. 🏆

Google
We shared a porterhouse for two. The steak didn’t have any seasoning at all. Just taste like plain grilled meat. Everything else was wonderful

Google
Our food and service experience was excellent. My husband had the spinalis (rib cap) it was juicy and very tasty. I had the duck it was wonderful. The sides are huge but this restaurant will let you order half sizes which I think is awesome! Initially I couldn't find the entrance (kinda of confusing) but then I saw someone come out! They also have an outside patio.

Steak are pretty good, you can't go wrong with them, parking is easy and inside the restaurant is proper

Yelp
I wish I could say I had the same experience as many of the other diners that have reviewed Kaiser's, but unfortunately, I only found this steakhouse to be mediocre given the large number of steakhouses in the area. I would agree the ambiance is nice and service was friendly, but there are just a few a few issues that made our experience a little less than friendly. We came here for a business dinner with a client and multiple people for context. First, in ordering a few bottles of wine, our waitress dropped the napkin used for wine service on the floor, but then proceeded to pick it up and continue to wipe the bottle with the napkin after the pour. Second, the serving staff mixed up several of the orders of mains giving incorrect steaks to incorrect individuals. As some people dug in to food quickly and being a business dinner, the few of us that noticed didn't want to raise too much of a concern. Again, good steak is good steak, so we'll eat it, but I personally ended up eating a medium well filet instead of the medium rare ribeye I ordered that was consumed by someone else at the table. Again, these are likely rare instances and it just so happened that it was my experience here. The steaks were good and the sides were good, but given this does happen, I may recommend finding a different steakhouse for the dollar.

Yelp
Kaisers is an excellent Steak House conveniently located in Sandy Springs in the shopping center adjacent to Lowe's. We have had several meals here and I highly recommend. Their service is great and the experience is always on of the best.

Yelp
I wasn't too impressed with Kaiser's in my visit. I had the opportunity to try a number of different appetizers and entrees, but nothing stood out as especially good. The salmon was cooked perfectly but not overly flavorful. The filet "medium" was a bit overcooked and lacked flavor as well. The fried shrimp, lobster, calamari, and escargot appetizers were all mediocre. The service was impeccable and brought the experience up to a three star overall.

Yelp
This is a secret gem in ATL! I don't like to tell anyone about this place, but here I am. We have dined in for my birthday since we moved here, and there is nothing stopping this tradition. The menu has something for everyone, including fresh oysters, steak, and other proteins. The ambiance is intimate and sexy. We have had excellent service each time and you can't beat complimentary valet :)

Yelp
A great steakhouse. Has great decor which I learned is art from the 2 chefs. Impeccable service. We went for a business meeting and were seated at a nice table in the library area. Placed reservation and management called and made sure we were comfortable and table setting ideal for us . Above and beyond service but greatly appreciated. The food. All executed to perfection. Not one item missed the mark. We had the thick cut bacon, escargot, heirloom tomato salad, shrimp scampi and blue crab apps. Every plate finished. For mains had salmon, duck, halibut and they had a special spinalis steak. The cal of the ribeye that was exquisite. Somm picked a devine Napa cab silenceaux from Venge that everyone loved. One of the best steakhouse dinners in a long time. It's a great version of a tried and true meal format. Go and delight!

Yelp
While there are some advantages, the disadvantages are greater and I found the experience below expectations for the price spent. Nice location and ambiance, except sitting behind the bar (4 tables along the wall) was very noisy from the bar. This includes the shaker and drink mixers. It was occasional but I would not sit near the bar again. We also started our order at 5:30, right after opening. App, salads/soup, and steaks. We sat most of the time without food, waiting 50 minutes from ordering to finally get the steaks. This seemed to be related to workers coming in slowly upon opening the restaurant but it is hard to tell. More important, I ordered the filet mid-well (I know, save your judgement). This shouldn't be hard given a 6oz filet is thin and quick to cook. It came out charred and when cut into it, it was less than medium-rare. Hard to do both of those things. It went back and the manager brought it back out well-done and he only asked that I cut into to it to "see if it is cooked to your liking". Given how bad it looked, I would have first expected an acknowledgement and apology for the mistake, which was noted when the waiter saw the first steak. The char on this steak made a third of it inedible - who wants a crunchy, burnt filet for 45$? The sides menu was large and the few we had were good. The salads and soup were nice. Overall underwhelming, especially for the price.

Yelp
Let's get the BS out of the way. As in butternut squash soup, a tasty starter served in surprisingly ample bowl. This soup always is a fall favorite so this batch at Kaiser's becomes the favorite favorite. Next up: the sides, served family style. With four in our double birthday party, we retreated to separate corners: Brussel sprouts, big elbow mac n' cheese, mushroom risotto and rice-and-grains. All were shared by the spoonful with enough to include in a take-home box. The entrees: Two went with eight-ounce sirloins so perfectly cooked (and recommended by a respected reviewer in the AJC). A half-chicken was plated -- tasty and with more than enough for lunch the next day (paired with the side leftovers). The night's special was two six-ounce filets. Again, perfect. Add-ons: A bottle of Prosecco, a toast to our recent tour of Italy in June. As we were there on a work night, that bottle was all we'd need. Plus a surprise birthday dessert shared by the table (we had a cake waiting back at the apartment). A tasty pastry with some fresh fruit and a gorgeous "happy birthday" message in chocolate drizzle. The damage: $213 before tip and tax for four (five if you count a great lunch for one of us the next day courtesy of the ample portions). Atmosphere: A gorgeous steakhouse in the confines of the bustling Hammond area in Sandy Springs just off I-285. The heavy use of wood, the open (but protected) booths, the tables, the high energy of clients and staff -- something you'd imagine if visiting Chicago. Bottom line: We'll be back, likely for another occasion but maybe just to get a great dinner, from soup to sides to entrees. While two of us live in the area, two others traveled 60 miles each way -- and would do so again tomorrow.

Yelp
We went to Kaiser's Chophouse to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were looking for a steakhouse to try and came across Kaiser's on Yelp. The restaurant is located in kind of a busy shopping center parking lot. But the upside is that there is plenty of free parking available. The ambiance inside is nice, and it was pretty busy the whole time we were there. They brought out cheesy bread with whipped butter to start, which was really good. And we each ordered a glass of wine. The sides that we ordered were amazing: truffle scalloped potatoes and jalapeño creamed corn. I would absolutely come back here just for the sides! I ordered the filet and it was cooked how I like, although it had more of a charred flavor than I typically would prefer. My husband ordered the filet special, which came on the bone. He said the meat was good, but felt like too much of it was not edible around the bone, so he wished he would have ordered something else.

Yelp
Hello, again, from Kaiser's Chophouse! I have another enthusiastic endorsement after our second visit. We arrived with a reservation and were seated at a table near the door. I kept my coat around my shoulders to mute the chill. Our waiter took note and turned up the heat without any prompting. Thank you, Tommy, for the attentiveness! We started with the featured oysters: Irish Points (so fitting on St. Patrick's Day!) and burrata salad (red and golden tomatoes, mozzarella and arugula). The complimentary focaccia bread is delicious! For my entree, I chose the diver scallops atop tomato risotto again. It was so good last time and I was pleased yet again. You can see we chose French fries and asparagus as our sides. We split a piece of key lime cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and garnished with strawberries. Kaiser's is a five-star experience for us - great food and great service make for a great experience!

Yelp
I honestly hate to even write this poor of a review because the food was great. However, we hadn't even been there an hour and a half and I was still enjoying the last sips of my wine. The manager then came up and asked us if he could bribe us to leave. We felt like that was extremely rude as I had a couple sips of wine left, so someone else could sit at the table. It was very poorly handled and we were about to leave anyways. We had already spent plenty of money there so it felt like they simply didn't care if they got our business or not. We won't be back.

Great food, service and ambience. Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Well poured drinks! I highly recommend the Lobster Shanghai dish, 5 stars alone!

Yelp
complimentary valet parking Very friendly greeting at door seated immediately The atmosphere & decor are very soothing . Once seated, Brian our waiter was fantastic. He made sure we understood the specials & menu, took care of our drink order. Bc I had tons of suggestions from Steak Shapiro (owner of Atlanta Eats) & Sandra Golden (Co host at Atl sports radio) we had a list of exactly what to order. The Wagu dumplings were the perfect appetizer to begin our dining experience, tender, juicy & extremely flavorful. Wifey ordered the Marinated Porkchop, Baked Potato, asparagus. I ordered the Barrel cut beef Filet & the Pasta Bolognese. The food & the presentation was unbelievably fantastic. My steak was perfectly cooked, tender, melting in my mouth with the taste of blue cheese butter & a hint of honey. I tasted the very Thick Marinated Porkchop with the perfect outer crust. The star of the show however, was the Pasta Bolognese OMG! It was by far my favorite. I wish I could even begin to describe the dichotomy of flavors at the back of my mouth, long after I swallowed. We spoke with the manager at the end of our meal, he said that by far this dish (Pasta Bolognese) is the most ordered & requested in the whole restaurant! To say we enjoyed the food & experience of Kaisers Chophouse would be a GROSS UNDERSTATEMENT. ITS 5 STARS ALL THE WAY #TONGUETESTED

Yelp
Wonderful and classy spot for steak and seafood! We came here for a Friday date night and it was packed. Reservations are needed and the ambience is intimate and the lighting was very dark. They had complimentary valet which was great. We ordered the King Kaiser drink (vodka based), which was decent. We had the barrel cut filet mignon medium rare and shared a bunch of sides. I upgraded my meal with 1/2 Maine lobster (broiled with butter on the side). The lobster was a bit over cooked but still decent. The sides we got were delicious - Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and creamed corn. The sides were really good, a bit over salted but still yummy. The meat was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Our favorite place is still Little Alley Steak, but this is definitely our second choice!

Yelp
6? Wow Delicious, comfortable, great service by Wayne, and team. Started with iced shellfish tower for 3 of us. Fantastic. I know it's a steak house, but the seafood was top-notch. Ok lamb lollipops were the best I've had in many years. Wife had lobster bisque, while I had foie gras appetizer. All great. Son had (giant) kaiser burger with bacon. Wow. With fries of course. Daughter had "barrel cut 6oz filet with truffle butter. So very tender and tasty. Thanks for letting have a bite to taste. Great with potatoes gratin for the table THEY all shared chocolate cream pie. They said great. I liked atmosphere, but wife said a bit noisy. Valet parking, but plenty of self parking. We used to go at least yearly to chops, but this is our new go to steak house. !!!

Yelp
Variety of menu options is good Service timely and professional Knowledge of Gluten-free and ability to accommodate great Really nice evening

Yelp
Great service, atmosphere, food and drinks. The spinelli is amazing and cooked to perfection. Our favorite sides is the sweat potatoes and creamed corn.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to celebrate my daughter's new job and Kaiser's was one of the only places open on a Tuesday night. And we were glad we did! Kaiser's superb service, warm atmosphere, and good selection of items made it a great choice for us. We were seated promptly upon arrival, having made a reservation (a must-do, even on a weeknight). Our server did an excellent job . . . informative, professional, attentive, and with an understated sense of humor. I started with the French 75 cocktail and my daughter had a Prosecco. The cocktail was delicious and strong. I selected a salad with the help of our server and it was amazing . . . a golden beet salad with creamy feta under a bed of nicely dressed arugula. Our appetizer choice was the veal meatballs (3) in a tasty bolognese sauce and they were perfect. My daughter had the ribeye and my husband had the short ribs, while I opted for the fresh catch of the day, which turned out to be Alaskan halibut. The fresh catch is set atop a bed of haricot verts and delicious mashed potatoes. Delightful! It's good to know that the sides are meant for sharing as the portions are ample. We ended our evening with dessert . . . flourless chocolate and creme brulee. Both were delicious and properly prepared. All in all, we had a wonderful celebratory evening and will definitely return often. This is an excellent choice in the Sandy Springs area!

Yelp
I'm a long-time proponent that Chops in Buckhead is the best steakhouse in Atlanta and one of the tops in the country. Well I have found a worthy competitor, and it's Kaiser's. I was gifted a $500 bottle of wine for the holidays, so my wife and I decided that instead of waiting for a special occasion, we would make the bottle of wine the occasion. We have been meaning to try Kaiser's, so now we had the perfect excuse. We had reservations at 7pm on a Saturday night. Kaiser's is located in a strip center next to Lowe's sort of behind a Chic-Fil-A and El Azteca. Parking is plentiful. We arrived right at 7p and were seated right away. It was definitely busy. Decor is nice as expected for a nice steakhouse. While busy, we found it to not be loud by any means. Tommy was our server, and his service was excellent. He decanted our wine ($25 corkage fee), and ensured we were debriefed on the specials. As normal, my wife and I decided to share everything. We started with the fried lobster tail. Man that was tasty. A lot like the Chops version but perhaps even better. We shared a Caesar, the 12oz filet and a loaded baked potato. The steak was an absolutely perfect medium-rare. Melted in our mouths. The baked potato extremely creamy and the toppings were perfect. Nice crispy smoked bacon! For dessert we had the half baked cookie skillet. It was awesome! Overall, just an awesome experience. I'm putting it on my best of the best steakhouses list. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This is my second time here and it's still very meh. The ambiance really dark in there which I hate (they have little lamps and flashlights) and the escargot was tough. The bruschetta sauce or whatever it is was the best part

Yelp
Fantastic meal and service... This was my second visit to this upscale much more than Steakhouse... My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. We went early and it was packed. Had a 6 PM reservation by grazed with multiple appetizers... Got the fried lobster tail, their meatballs are to die for, highly recommend the meatballs... And the short rib dumplings. Added a Caesar salad and that was my meal. It was outstanding. My husband ordered the Parmesan crusted veal chop. He claims to be a veal chop aficionado... He gave it an A+. It is served with broccolini. Fabulous night out great food great service Joseph waited on us. He was a delight and made our night that much better

Yelp
Service: 10/10 Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive, descriptive with each entree, and catered to my food restrictions when needed. Food: I tried the raw oysters, fried shrimp, and fried lobster to share. All the appetizers were delicious, especially the sauces that same with. I had the medium well salmon without capers for my meal. The salmon was okay, but it wasn't medium well like I ordered. For dessert, i had the bread pudding w/ vanilla ice cream which I really enjoyed. Ambiance: I was seated outside, which was very nice and came with heated lamps above the table. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I would def come back.

Yelp
If you want that perfect steak the prime porterhouse for sharing will do it. . Favorite sides are the truffle potatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and broccolini. There is a huge choice of starters , I don't eat shellfish however my friends love the shellfish tower or the oysters. My favorites are the tuna sashimi on a corn tortilla and the hamachi. Excellent service and ambiance. Worth the price

Yelp
Party of four on a Saturday night. We had a reservation for outside dining. There were quite a few people there so I was glad we made a reservation. They have valet parking, which I highly suggest as the parking lot can be quite congested. We started with a few appetizers with our round of drinks. Fried Gulf Oyster Rockefeller - Comes with spinach, bacon, and hollandaise. This was really good!! Seasoned to perfection. Per usual, bacon took it to the next level of greatness. Tempura Fried Gulf Shrimp - It lacked any sort of seasoning whatsoever. The shrimp and the breading were tasteless. We actually ended up sending this dish back. Smoked Salmon "Potato Skins" - Enjoyed this one as well. Salmon had amazing taste. I would have loved to have more crunch from the potatoes because of the texture of the salmon but still a great dish. My friend and I split the Cowboy Ribeye. (20 oz) I was so excited as the server was explaining the difference parts as he was cutting it in shareable pieces for us. (So excited that I forgot the pic) I was highly disappointed quite frankly. We ordered it medium rare and the temperature was cooked to perfection. Hit my tastebuds and they pulled out their telescope to search for the flavor. Man, it was severely lacking. I'm not a fan of steak sauce. I feel like if I have to use it, then it's to add flavor that should already be there or to disguise the taste. I ordered my steak with the blue cheese dipping sauce, which was amazing but I wanted the steak to be amazing. The sides come "family style". Asparagus - nothing special. The texture was about the best thing going for them. Mashed potatoes with spinach- pretty bland. Could have used at least the basics of salt and pepper. I ended up asking for pepper to make them better but they reminded me of boxed mashed potatoes. The appetizers increased my starts for this rating. My steak was a 2 star meal. For a steakhouse and as pricey as the meals are, I expected way more. The environment was good, enough space to enjoy and our server was great.

Yelp
Food was exceptional as well as the service. A friend introduced me to Kaiser's about a month ago and have been 4-5 times already. Spinalis is great, ribeye was wonderful. 1000/10 recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Top notch! This is a high end restaurant with excellent food and cocktails! The atmosphere is like many steakhouses with dark walls and floors with crisp white tablecloths.

Yelp
Good ambiance, good food, good service. Ideal for business meetings or a date. I would definitely recommend it.

Anita L.

Yelp
Been there several times, but this time, service was a bit disappointing overall. Our server was not the most professional; she seemed to disappear for long periods of time. Never asked us if we wanted dessert and when she brought someone a birthday dessert and I asked for the dessert menu, she commented, "you should've said something." And I'm thinking, "no, you should've asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee." Plus, we were seated at a very bad table near the patio door where the setting sun was shining for at least a full hour right in the eyes of one of our dinner companions; the sun had her in the spotlight for well over an hour, and she was extremely uncomfortable - we all felt very bad for her as well. There were no other available tables to change to. Yet Management never offered any kind of complementary dessert or appetizer to say, sorry for the inconvenience. For $500 for dinner, I expected a higher quality of service.

Yelp
Great steak house. Has plenty of options. Service is friendly. A bit pricey though. The ambiance is nice and good for special days as well.

Yelp
The food was yummy. The atmosphere was nice and intimate as well. Service was good at the door, I was greeted warmly and placed to my table quickly. However, once I was seated, my server was on the slow side, which is mostly why I didn't leave a 5 star rating. Overall, it was a nice place and probably will return in the future.

Yelp
Whew. Took me a couple days to do this review, I really wanted to calm down first. So here goes. I came here on a Thursday night, it was packed. A women greeted us at the door, I don't remember her first name but I assumed she was the owner because her last name was Kaiser. She was very polite. We had a reservation but the table wasn't ready so we waited about 10 mins. Once seated we ordered cocktails and appetizers. My friend ordered a Manhattan and I had a French honeysuckle. After about 5 sips of my drink I noticed something was caught in the straw. So now I'm looking at my drink trying to figure out what going on. I couldn't believe it! THERE WAS AN ENTIRE NAPKIN MIXXED with the ice in my drink! I literally gagged!! As I'm pulling the napkin out of my drink the OWNER walks by and see for herself! Of course she tried to make excuses, first she said oh it must be pulp.... Then she realized NO it was a FREAKING NAPKIN WITH WRITING ON IT! ACTUAL WRITING FROM A PEN!!!!!!!!! I literally gagged. I held back tears!!! So much was running through my mind. What if someone wiped their nose with that tissue. How did it get in my glass? How did the bartender not see that?! Luckily for her she snatched my drink b4 I could take a picture of it. I lost my appetite at that point but I didn't want to ruin the date so we continued to order and enjoy the night. My date ordered the curry lobster. I ordered the $95 ribeye. I asked for med. It came out BURNED!!!!!!!!!! I sent it back smh. The curry lobster was decent, not impressive. The owner comped our first round of drinks and I never seen her again that night. Literally not worth the money. Our server was nice but I think more could've been done. I wish the owner would've came back and did something to encourage us to come back for a better experience. The cream corn was boring!! The lobster bites were good the dumplings are basic. Overall a huge FAIL. P.S. The napkin that was in my drink was white, the owner said they don't use white napkins so she don't know where the napkin could've come from. That didn't make me feel better.

Yelp
I wish I can give 0 stars. BFF is in town and we decided to go to a steak house since we love steak and stumbled across here and just had to try it. We had a reservation for 6:45. We sat there until 7:30 with only a ginger ale. Our waiter walked back and forth past us numerous times, tending to his other tables and not even taking our appetizer order. We had to ask someone else for the bread that we saw them giving everyone else. Then as we were leaving, the manager said thanks for dining with us ladies and we replied "we didn't even get to eat, we been sitting here for 40 mins with no service" he just let us walk away. Absolutely terrible. Like what in the world?????

Yelp
Little late to this review but we had a fantastic dinner here a few months ago for my wife's birthday. The reservation process was a bit unusual, as I had to fill out a form and prepay a $450 deposit for our party of 7 reservation for a Saturday night. However, the subsequent experience and food more than made up for it. Parking as many others have mentioned can be a bit of a pain but if you don't mind a very short walk, parking to the side of the building or behind it is your best bet if you don't want to valet. There's a nice festive atmosphere inside and I'm surprised at how many tables they can seat in a relatively small place. We were seated promptly as we arrived right on time, in fact service was very attentive throughout. Menu choices were plenty, even gluten free options for those with food allergies. Recalling from memory I'd say the highlights of the evening were the mussels for appetizer, the spinalis cap for main, and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. All in all a great meal and experience, we'd definitely return in the future.

Yelp
We had a delightful dinner at Kaiser's, and we look forward to returning! Kaiser's is located in a strip mall plaza but don't let the location dissuade you! They take great pride in their food and service. The steakhouse also specializes in seafood and American fare. Our group started with the seafood tower which is great for 4-6 people. Two in our party split the tomahawk, and then the duck ragu and the filet were also ordered. Everything was delicious! I'd return for the duck alone. We had great service, I believe his name was Kevin. Also enjoyed perfect martinis and champagne. Parking is valet or in the parking lot.

Yelp
Overrated. They cut the super expensive steaks before they leave the kitchen and they cool down too fast. It's just odd. I'm a grown up and don't need someone else to cut a $60 steak for me. The presentation is also lacking. Sides and wine list decent. Service is not on par with similarly priced steakhouses in Atlanta. I don't get the appeal. I'd go to Bones or Hal's.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time w/good friends. Everything was delicious. Staff was accommodating w/3 of us being gluten-free. Ambiance was relaxing. We sat for almost 2.5 hours, catching up & not once did we feel like we were taking up space. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Our Birthaversary meal at Kaiser's was delicious. The service was excellent. My complaint is that "my special" spinalis cut was $72.00 for a maybe 8oz cut. It was explained that it was because it is available in limited quanity. A 20oz cowboy ribeye was less than that. I've had it there before....not at $72.00!!!!! The waiter should have explained the price ahead of time. It was not listed on the menu anywhere. Customers don't like that kind of suprise. Be wary of specials without knowing the price.

Yelp
I was always curious about this restaurant since every time I go to Jinya it was always busy, so I decided to try it out. I gave it 3.5 stars due to a few things: 1. Our table service was excellent. 2. The steaks were delicious, but the catch of the day (Halibut) was a bit dry to my liking. 3. We had a loud group next to us so it was a bit hard to talk to my party. 4. The decor of the restaurant is masculine with wood and smell of bourbon lingering in the air. And 5. The restaurant is on the pricey side, so I really did expected a better experience, but it's another restaurant I can check off my list. Would I go back? Probably not.

Yelp
My first time here and loved it. Service five stars. Staff is knowledgeable and able to make great recommendations. I had the scallops with tomato risotto. AMAZING!! Appetizer: Lollipop lamb - great char, cooked medium with great body flavor Entree: Scallops with Risotto - Nice and hot, with the right amount of flavor. Dessert: Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie After dinner coffee was great! Tables were spaced, staff wore gloves and masks. Great for a romantic evening, dinner or drinks alone, or a group outing.

Yelp
Very high end and traditional steak house with a modern dark interior. Excellent service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I had the Spinalis. My wife had a filet. If you really want a special meal go here.

Yelp
My friends and I do monthly Steakhouse visits. This month, we decided to try Kaisers. The ambiance was good, our waitress was very informative and kept our drinks flowing. However, the food was awful! I had the 20oz cowboy ribeye with sweet potato gratin. The steak was not seasoned at all, not even salt and pepper. The "sweet" potato gratin was not sweet at all and was spicy. It was a bad eating experience.

Yelp
Wonderful spot where traditional steakhouse fare and new ideas on classic recipes converge. I've never had a bad meal here. Service is always spot on. They have an excellent wine list and spectacular cocktails. Try the spinalis. Any time I've recommended that to friends, they never stop talking about it. It's absolutely delicious.

Yelp
Dinner for 4. Service was outstanding. Steaks were perfectly done. Halibut was large and very fresh. Chef Peter and staff have it down to a T.

Yelp
The best Steakhouse in Atlanta (and maybe the world). Chef Peter Kaiser is an Atlanta favorite and his namesake restaurant is absolute perfection. Any dish you order will be delightful. Try the Oysters Rockefeller. And don't miss the signature Lobster Shanghai.. The Pappardelle Bolognese is hearty and enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Atmosphere is modern steakhouse comfort. You can't go wrong here. Perfect for intimate dinners as well as business functions.

Yelp
Environment: This steakhouse is somewhat unassuming from the outside and is located in a strip mall/shopping center. The interior is dimly lit and intimate with various tables and booths. Food/Drink: Ordered the Grilled Thick Cut Bacon, Tomahawk Steak, Granny's Grilled Corn, and Big Elbow Mac and Cheese for the meal; a French 75 to drink; and the Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet for dessert. The Grilled Thick Cut Bacon was some of the best bacon I've ever had in my life! It was flavorful and meaty with very little fat. The Tomahawk Steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the Creamed Corn and Mac and Cheese were delicious. My cocktail was good and the Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet was decent. I wasn't too crazy about it, but I could see how a lover of cookies would think it was amazing. Service: The waiter was friendly, but forgetful at times. Possibly because he had too many tables to tend to at once. Overall, not a bad experience so I would return.

Yelp
Wow! What a great discovery! Fabulous food and while upscale steaks/seafood, the prices aren't eye-wateringly high. Fun fact--Kevin Rathbun is the major investor. In fact, he was there last night (our second visit to the restaurant). On our first visit we had steaks-- wonderful. On our second visit we had salmon and halibut--also wonderful. Great salads and an unbelievable list of great sides. Service is outstanding. My advice--go there as soon as you can.

Yelp
Despite the shopping center location, it is beautiful inside, though a bit too loud and quite expensive. The food was fair - nothing stood out compared to other steak houses.
