"Now in a larger location, this Michelin-recommended Southtown oyster bar borrows the trimmings from New England coastal design. The menu is less geographically specific, with entrees ranging from a bouillabaisse-like fish stew to Cal-Mex fish tacos. Most diners stick to East Coast oysters paired with a dirty martini or one of the two sparkling wines available by the glass." - Brandon Watson

Like many of the other reviews stated, there is nothing that would or should make this a Michelin recommended restaurant. First of all, our party of just 3 showed up to our reservation 5 minutes before our outside dining experience was to begin, of which about half the tables were empty, dirty, and looked as they had been for some time. Restaurant was about 25% capacity on a Friday night. That should have been the first sign not to go forward with the reservation. It ended up taking close to 15 minutes for 3 individuals to try to clear the outside tables. Did I mention we had a reservation for outside. Rather than just clearing one table, they cleaned all 3 before seating us. Once seated, the staff consistently walked passed our table for nearly 15min, never acknowledging our presence, asking to take a drink order, or even appetizers; so long so, that I walked around the corner to try to see if there was availability at another restaurant, unfortunately not. Even others that arrived after us appeared to have their orders taken well in advance of us. Unfortunately, we still proceeded with dinner and drinks. The oysters were good, but it is hard to screw up something that God made. As others have mentioned, some of the meals were served to us a whole 15 minutes later than others at the table, long enough for others to finish their meals completely. As for the service, the waitress was nice but not attentive. As mentioned previously, the restaurant was at about 25% capacity; however, most of their staff appeared to be doing other activities that kept them from being attentive to their customers, like the 3 bartenders filling bottles and wiping down glasses that no one was using. Could have certainly used their labor in much more effective ways. Oh, and by the way, it was my daughters birthday, which was mentioned during in our reservation; no happy B-day, no desert, no nothing, and now, no return. This place is certainly a one and done for us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food was just a little better than average, portions small, and the cost high. There are certainly many options to choose from for the price range; we walked away feeling taken advantage of as opposed to enjoying a special evening out. Restaurants need to recognize who they are catering to, the customer. It is all about the customer. If not, I will take my money elsewhere; in this case, I recommend you do the same.

This place is adorable! We ended up visiting multiple times during our weekend visit to S.A. The cocktails were top notch! Tried 3 different martinis all were amazing. Best oysters I’ve ever had, very clean the guy shucking is a pro. The wedge salad was absolutely delish, cold and fresh! Tuna tartare and the octopus were also a delight! However, front of house needs to do better and keeping the place tidy. Both times we dined, there were chips and fries on the floor and crumbs on our table when seated. The bathrooms needed attention as well, manager needs to make sure the place looks like it just opened all the time. This place is a gem, keep it looking fresh and clean like the decor and color palette presents.

I honestly wish I could give it a 5 but I left very disappointed. Went during happy hour we ordered two martinis which were tasty. A little small but it’s happy hour so whatever. My husband and I just wanted to share a plate as we weren’t very hungry. Ordered one lobster roll and the waiter offered to have it cut in half for us. The size of the roll was extremely tiny when it came out they cut it in half and my husband and I grabbed each half. I ate it in 3 bites :/ Watch your bill when you go to pay!! They charged us two rolls and a 20% gratuity, I let him know we only had one roll and he did remove the second roll charge but 20% gratuity is outrageous!!! Especially with all the hiccups. Don’t think we’ll be back and it’s a shame because it’s such a cute place with cool decor.

Loved the vibe - super cute spot. Also, the food was good! I had the Lobster Roll Connecticut Style with Wedge Salad (wasn't told about the $4.00 up-charge for that change) so a bit of surprise when the bill came. My mom had the Beet Salad and the Shrimp Toast. We were able to snag a parking spot close by. Sundays aren't as busy and it's a bit easier to find an open spot.

Google
Very nice Oyster bar with a high selection of different types of oysters. We got one of each oyster types and will say they all have their distinct flavors. Definitely worth a try if you love oysters. The fish and chips were also tasty. Overall I would recommend any oyster lover to try just to be wary of a high price tag.

As a 15 year plus downtown resident, this is our backyard. With 30 plus years in the hospitality field (now retired) I feel I can bring you real insight into our locations. The good, the bad and the ugly. If we run across a serious issue, I will always go directly to management and not post it. I truly believe you always must give management an opportunity to correct a serious issue. If not correct and or just ignored, then I feel is correct to inform the public - professionally. No establishment is perfect. I will bring to you smaller hiccups we may have come across. I'm always here for general downtown questions and possible recommendations. First time going to the new location, as they have moved across the street still in South town. Overall, very good. We all agreed we thought the price point was a bit high Vs what we got. Example, we agreed that the tacos should really be in the bites section. A stretch to call this a meal. The oysters, again for the price point, seemed a small portion/oyster. Two lobster rolls were ordered, again for the price point, thought a little more between the buns. Peeps that joined us are from Maryland and now a little about lobster rolls! They both said the product was very good. The ambience was nice. Great outdoor seating space, we decided to go inside. They also have a bar that you can sit at. Wouldn't say noisy, but you could clearly hear other people around you. Three plates came out, and the last one took about 5 minutes to arrive. Somewhat awkward as we had to decide whether to eat or wait for the last dish to come out. Ha, there are friendship lines, we all decided to eat lol. We all agreed on the meals - very tasty. Service was spot on. You typically see these prices on the Riverwalk, but again very tasty. Desert was off the charts! Odd that they only had cold brew coffee, like a nice hot coffee after the meal with the dessert - fireworks. We will be back for a special occasion.

Hard to beat their happy hour - $8 martinis and $2 oysters. Everything we ate was fantastic, but you might leave hungry unless your wallet is bottomless. I will keep frequenting happy hour for sure!

Little Em's Oyster Bar is an absolute delight! Housed in a small white craftsman-style building, this gorgeous restaurant and bar features a charming pink motif and an open, airy feel that makes the most of its cozy interior. The beautiful patio outside, shaded in the late afternoon, is perfect for enjoying the lovely ambiance. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a wonderful dining experience. They were also very accommodating, adjusting our reservation by half an hour to fit our schedule. The bathroom was spotless and as beautifully decorated as the rest of the restaurant. The open kitchen concept added a touch of excitement as we could see the talented chefs at work. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. We enjoyed a fantastic selection of oysters, and the lobster roll was pure buttery perfection—hearty and flavorful. The burger, topped with their homemade "DJ Nasty" sauce and homestyle pickles, was divine and came with my favorite shoestring fries. They offered a great variety of beverages, including draft and bottled beer, wine, and sparkling alcoholic drinks. I also noticed a Mexican Coke. Still water comes with table service. Our date night at Little Em's Oyster Bar was perfect, and we enjoyed it so much that we returned with friends. Both visits were stellar, showcasing consistently excellent food and service. If you're looking for a charming, intimate spot with top-notch seafood and great service, Little Em's Oyster Bar is a must-visit. We can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Fantastic location! Perfect for a midday happy hour or early dinner - the lighting is EVERYTHING! We loved the experience and the options of oysters on the menu. We had several kinds of oysters and they were ALL delicious. Service was a liiiiitttle slow.

Yelp
The oysters were good but that was kind of where it stopped for me. Things I did not like: 1) The acoustics were just terrible. You can hear what people are saying on the other side of the room better than what someone is saying right next to you. 2) The service was only okay. Kind of inattentive. 3) All non-oyster items were about 20%-30% overpriced. 4) Non cocktail drink selection was pretty limited. Went on a recommendation but ultimately left underwhelmed. One visit was probably enough for me.

Yelp
The staff were all nice and patient with any questions we had. Our reservation was at 7pm and at 630 the manager called to inform us they were out of the majority of the menu. Put a sour taste in our mouth, however we still came to our reservation just to try this place out. While sitting there enjoying our drinks the staff pulled out a menu item that was voiced was out of stock. We asked our server and they informed us the item was now available. While this was a highly recommended place I'd go back for drinks with friends however I would not go back for the food. It was limited and it's nothing to do with the staff they were working with what they had. I just expected an oyster bar to have oysters. If they are limited at all times they should put that on the reservations. There should also be a 2 hour window to call and inform people of food availability.

Yelp
They moved across the street to where Upscale used to be! The place is still pretty and pink, with sea accents, which I love! Very clean and sleek, with ample patio seating, the indoor seating is better than the old location, but it's still a fairly small restaurant! Service was great, our server helped us choosing what to order and got us moved to seats when the sun came out. Everyone is so nice! Food was good and tastes "elevated" if that makes sense! I was told the tortillas for the tacos were all made in house so I got myself some and they were delicious! I will say that the plates are a bit small and I wasn't full after our mains, snapper crudo app and an oyster. I usually eat less than most too. Just make sure to take it into consideration! Also the prices in the area are a bit elevated too, so keep that in mind when you're planning to visit !!

Yelp
Our first visit to Little Em's Oyster Bar was fantastic, and we're already looking forward to returning. From start to finish, every dish and drink impressed us. We began with tuna tartare and a selection of oysters. The oysters were fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious, and the tuna tartare was bursting with flavor--a perfect way to start the meal. I ordered the lobster roll for mains while my husband went with the hamburger. Both were exceptional; we can't say enough good things about how perfectly they were prepared. The vibe at Little Em's is laid-back, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy fresh seafood. The service was impeccable--friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. As for cocktails, I had a mimosa, and my husband enjoyed a Michelada, both of which added to the overall experience. One thing to keep in mind: reservations are a must. Little Em's is a small, quaint restaurant, so planning ahead is essential to ensure you get a spot. If you're in the mood for amazing seafood and great drinks in a relaxed setting, Little Em's is a must-visit. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
The mussels had to be my absolute favorite. Enjoyed the oysters & I tried their burger as well which wasn't anything impressive. Overall, it was a cute spot but service was definitely lacking. Stood at the door for about 10 mins before I decided to just seat myself at the bar. Mind you it was no more than 8 people in the entire place. Once the shift change happened, it got a tad bit better. I'd consider going back.

Yelp
Yummy seafood and great service! We walked in around 5 PM on a Friday, and we were able to get seated outside. If you want an indoor table, you definitely should make a reservation. It was hot outside but they had fans going and our server recommended a table near the fan for us. I ordered the chilada, which is basically beer and lime juice on ice, and it was amazing for a warm summer evening. I do kind of wish they had cocktails on the menu but that's okay! We started out with oysters, and they have a rotating special for oyster dressing which I thought was neat. For entrees, we ordered spicy shrimp linguine which was super flavorful, and the lobster roll. The temperature of the dishes could have been warmer, and the lobster was a little drier than I would have liked, but overall we really enjoyed our meal. The portions were light and prices were moderate, around $30 per entree. This is a "once in a while" kind of restaurant for us and we will be back when the weather is a little nicer.

Yelp
Disappointing is an understatement. First the food was hit or miss. Muscles were small with lots of sand, the lobster pasta was decent, the fish tacos were good but portion was comically small. Wish they would warn patrons that they're bite sized, tapas style tacos. Now the service was the worst part as it was painfully slow. It was a Saturday afternoon with many seats still available. Our first dish (a Caesar salad) took an hour to come out. Other dishes trickled in after. I had ordered a lobster pasta for my kids and asked if it was spicy since it stated chili being one of the ingredients but the server reassured me that it wasn't. When it came, my kids couldn't eat it cause it had a kick. I asked the server if we could have a side of toasted bread for my child since she couldn't eat the pasta and the server suggested she can have the chef make a "small" side of pasta with butter. I was delighted and accepted. But when it came, she brought out another full lobster entree with no seasoning this time. I politely clarified that's not what we wanted but I didn't want to wait another 20 mins for plain pasta. By then (1.5hrs since ordering), my kid was starving so we took it. I wasn't expecting to have to pay for a $38 entree TWICE for my 6 year old but we did anyways. It just left a really bad taste in our mouths and I felt quite ripped off. My friends and I came here since it was Michelin recommended for 2024 but it was quite a letdown tbh. There are much better options for the portion, quality, and service elsewhere.

Fernanda P.

Yelp
Service was awful. Music is too loud. Food was cold. Also while dinning the table next to us was talking about the owners being major maga supporters. Super disappointing giving we live in SA. Just like the table next to us, won't be coming back.

Yvette R.

Yelp
First time visiting, and everything was absolutely delicious! We started with the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare--so fresh and flavorful. The Ora King Carpaccio was a standout, perfectly delicate. The Snapper Crudo was also incredible, bursting with flavor. Each dish exceeded expectations, and I can't wait to return! The only advice is maybe changing the font of menu or making bolder. My friend had a hard time reading the menu.

John C.

Yelp
We sat outside on a nice day and ordered a drink, a wedding salad and a shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and were going to stay and have lunch except the loud disco beat dance music was really irritating then our shrimp coctail cocktail ($19) came and only had 3 shrimp. It has always had 4 for as long as I have been coming here. When I asked our server about it she said it was by weight now, which is amazing ly dubious, especially considering that they were no larger than they have ever been. I was looking forward to the new, more spacious restaurant but the 3 times we have been here have all been disappointing g and the shrimp cocktail nonsense was truly the last straw. Also, is anyone else tired of being asked what "we" would like or is it just me?

Fernanda F.

Yelp
Little Em's Oyster Bar is by far one of the cutest restaurants in town! This restaurant is located in the heart of southtown and the entire vibe and decoration is super unique. They specialize in seafood dishes with their main highlight being their oysters. The restaurant is pretty small so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. During our visit we sat at their patio which was really nice and I appreciate them having heaters and blankets for everyone. For the food we ordered the oysters, tuna tartar, the burger and their warm lobster roll. Oysters were perfection and were served pre-shuck which was really nice, since it made it very easy to enjoy. The tuna tartar was wonderful and I could've easily eaten three plates of that. The burger was a little overcooked for my taste, but still delicious. I didn't try the lobster roll but my guest said it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious seafood and wonderful service.

Kim S.

Yelp
We stopped for a sampling of their oysters. The Glacier Bay oysters were petit and sweet - absolutely delicious. The space is light and very open and service was spot on.

Mercedes M.

Yelp
The food was top notch! I have never had a better oyster. We tried these options during restaurant week. I may tell my husband we should go back before it ends on August 24th I believe. The staff were all so friendly. The place is so cute! 1st course: steak & tuna tartar 2nd course: watermelon carpaccio & wedge salad 3rd course: burger w/ fries & spicy shrimp scampi (not pictured) The chocolate tart was just a bonus from the wonderful chef. Everything was delicious! I can't believe we slept on this restaurant for the four years that it's been open. Missed opportunities.

Yelp
My friend was excited to try this place based on number recommendations. We drove nearly 4 hours in traffic and got to this restaurant at 8:40 pm on a Wednesday. The restaurant does not close until 10 pm. When we arrived, the guy with peppered hair behind the counter asked if we had reservations. We did not and were told it was reservation only for inside and we could just sit outside. He was very unwelcoming and considering we were Asian and had two kids with us, he could not be bothered. We sat outside in the heat and noticed a White guy came in after us and was seated at the bar. It was 9:15 pm and there was only a couple at the bar, two ladies at the end of the bar and three empty table tops inside. Our waiter Edward was kind enough to allow us to go inside and sit. Edward gave exceptional service the entire time, while he was also the only one taking all the tables, as the person behind the bar only chatted with the one guy sitting at the bar. I am not sure why we are given terrible food, but we did not speak or treated anyone in a way that warranted this type of discrimination or treatment. The fish and chips at $18 was thrown on a plate with only two smaller size McDonald's nugget portions. The fish was dry and the fries were hard and only a handful. We were left starving after the portions we were served. This was not the fault of the server, but the chef in the kitchen. We did not come to this establishment 30 minutes before closing and understand the kitchen staff and servers would like to go home, as who wouldn't after being on their feet all day. How we were treated by the guy behind the bar and the kitchen staff was uncalled for. If you are not accepting of people of different races and backgrounds then you should consider not working in an industry where you are required to interact with the public. The website does not indicate reservations are required. It gives an option of standard or outdoors. The staff and owner most likely will not read this, but this is an experience that should be shared with anyone planning on visiting this subpar establishment and their discriminatory practice.

Brenda G.

Yelp
The shrimp pasta plate was delicious and the flavor was amazing. Considering the prices. The portion sizes are on the smaller side. Our plate only had 3 shrimps. The French fries are really good. The service is five star and everyone is friendly. It has a cute little patio.

T S.

Yelp
Nice looking place. But far off the walk. Walked in and they don't have any fresh seafood but had a dozen left from before . No thanks. Canceled reservations and went elsewhere.

Ashlyn L.

Yelp
Fabulous! The food and service were amazing and the aesthetic was so cute and chic! The oysters were delicious and fresh. Our bartender was amazing and recommended the spicy shrimp linguine and the lobster roll. Both were to die for!

Wilnesa C.

Yelp
I am a sucker for some good oysters. I'm a huge believer in feeling that if something is mentioned in the name of a place, they HAVE to make sure that particular thing is "on point"! Therefore, when I saw Little Em's OYSTER bar, I knew I struck gold. I came here with a fixed pallet for some delicious oysters & they delivered. They were sooo fresh! It goes without saying, I left this place as a happy camper. The waitress was attentive and did a good job at checking in to see if I needed anything. Let's not even start on the decor! It's such a cute place. On the side of the building, there's a sign that says," The world is your oyster ". Before I left, I made sure to snap a quick photo. So yeah..if you love oysters & taking cute pictures, this is the place for you. Trust me!

General E.

Yelp
Don't! Just Don't. My wife and I waited for over an hour and a half. The waitress kept sayin, " they are working on yours now. It will be out soon". I asked for the manager- told her they should tell the customers when the wait will be so long. I asked her to comp our drinks. She kept saying she can comp our dessert. We don't want or eat dessert. She could not have been any older than 25 and had that " deer in the headlights look" in her eyes. I explained that it's really bad business to respond this way. She just walked away. Oh, the Salmon was cold and the lobster was chewy. Never again.

Lauri M.

Yelp
Back again two weeks later. We had the spicy octopus and chef selection of oysters. Both as wonderfully delicious as we remembered. It was nice that the selection of oysters changed. The oyster shooters are Really good. I splurged and got the lobster orecchiette. The dish was fabulous. If in San Antonio you must give it a try. A delight!!!

Wendi D.

Yelp
Great service. The bites we had were delicious. Very cute indoor area, but make a reservation if you want to sit in side.

Pete D.

Yelp
Used to be great. Last 3 times we were there, they were out of food Stop focusing on the new location

Kevin Y.

Yelp
Found this cute little gem on a trip to San Antonio when I was really craving oysters. It's tucked outside of downtown so really easy to find parking. It's a small little place that only had a couple people working when I went but it was no problem since it was past lunch hour. Overall I really enjoyed everything I had. The tuna tartare and mussels was a great appetizer. We had three different types of oysters that ranged from Briney to light and sweet. I had the fish tacos because I was feeling healthy. Family had the lobster roll which was beloved.

Teofila R.

Yelp
Wanted oysters . Atmosphere is nice. Sitting outside in the patio. Music on speaker is nice and relaxing. Shrimp linguine is delicious even though portion is small for price . Oysters are delicious too but small also. Still I enjoyed meal and service.

Dennys J.

Yelp
I have been there twice and I have had their lobster roll Maine style twice but the 2nd time I noticed it was smaller and not as tasty as the -1st one. But it was still good!! Their wines are great too! I want to try other stuff in the menu, but gotta take into account they can ran out of ingredients especially later during the day. It is a good place, will def keep coming back

Gregg R.

Yelp
The food and ambience are the exquisite! Shrimp, oysters, and fish tacos - oh my! Both the outdoor patio and the indoor tables are a great pkace for drinks and dining. Everyone is very friendly.

Kyra M.

Yelp
Cute girly nice place and ambiance. I got a dozen oysters, glass of wine, and linguini. Totaled about $88. The oysters came out first and were super fresh on ice and had handmade horseradish. However, the linguini took about a hour to come out. Not sure if they were handmade noodles and everything was made from scratch, but dang it took forever. I was shocked when it came out how small the portion was and the three shrimp on the plate. Service was decent my waitress was Tatiana

Ciro M.

Yelp
This place is a small cute restaurant. The service and food were excellent. The oysters were fresh and the entrees were delicious.

Ambar A.

Yelp
Last night we went to Little Em's and honestly the food was delicious. The best thing on the menu in my opinion was the octopus agua chile I think it was . The sauce that it came with was amazing and it was soooo soft it melted in your mouth. Then we had the yellowfin tuna tartar which was good, it didn't have any sauces but it was very fresh. My boyfriend had oysters he said were very good. For the main plate I had the fish tacos which were good. My boyfriend has the spicy linguini with Shrimp and that one was amazing , that's what I would order if I went back. The vibes outside were 10/10 and our server was super nice. My one complaint is that the portions were really small. I was still hungry when we left :/

Matthew B.

Yelp
They moved across the street and doubled their prices. Took a date there, paid over $200 for 2 dozen oysters and a couple drinks. Garbage, plus the owner is sketch.

Alyssa D.

Yelp
Upon arrival I walked in unsure of where to go or sit as no one was outside at the host stand (for good reason it was raining outside). I asked if I could have a seat at the bar as there were four open seats. A lady told me there was a wait and I'd have to wait outside ( the inside of this place is quite tiny). Luckily I was partially covered by their awning out front but I waited probably 10-20 minutes. When I got in I was seated at one of the four chairs that was empty when I first arrived... But besides that once inside seated at the bar it was a very nice experience. The servers were very nice in their demeanors. I ordered a glass of their sparkling rose and the Maine lobster roll. The roll was quite tasty and seemed very fresh, the thin fries are an absolute favorite of mine. Overall it was a nice experience I would come back but make sure I have a reservation ahead of time.

Sloane S.

Yelp
Hands down best experience in San Antonio for a restaurant. Let me preface by saying my bf is not a seafood eater at all and at the end of the meal he said we will be back and he loved it. We went on a Wednesday night, it was quiet and intimate. The restaurant is incredibly cute decor, pink , white and soft blue with accents of gold. The space is small inside but cozy and outdoor space is great. We sat at the bar and the waiter was helpful explaining questions we had on the menu. We ended up ordering 2 warm lobster rolls with fries, mussels, 2 oysters a la cart, and the s'mores tart. It was our first time trying oysters, and they were fine, we realized we weren't oyster fans but I think for someone who is these would be perfect (no gritty or ocean taste). The mussels were perfectly cooked in a white wine sauce that left me wanting more. Now the lobster rolls, they were HUGE, for the price it was fair. I've been to other places that charge the same for a much smaller roll, but these were big and jammed packed with lobster and melty buttery goodness. The last piece of our food tour ended with dessert and let me just say the chef knows what he is doing all around. The tart was silky fudge, encased by a perfect graham cracker crust and topped with a melted marshmallow that was torched as if we sat outside with a campfire. We will for sure be going back for another date night and I recommend you go as soon as possible. We loved this place.

Yelp
So disappointed in dinner tonight. Then best thing was the service was super quick so we could get out. It was so cold in the restaurant and the fans were on high. We were told they couldn't be slowed. We had the beet salad to start and that was good. Then we shared the hamburger and fish tacos. The hamburger wasn't anything special. And was delivered look warm. The fires were ice cold! The fish tacos didn't seem like anything great either. We remember when this place opened and the food was great! Well down hill since. Unfortunately we won't go back. It is a shame because we love to support local chefs and this couple has a great story!

Yelp
We had a very nice evening celebrating a friends birthday. The food was good but the service by our waiter Ray was outstanding. He is a very polite gentleman and took very good care of us. We will definitely be coming back

Yelp
It's surprising this restaurant received Michelin recognition. The service was acceptable but started off slow, and the portions were small and overpriced. The lobster rolls were disappointing--just overcooked lobster on bread with butter. They had run out of Tito's vodka, and two of our three highball glasses had chipped rims. The shrimp cocktail, priced at $18, consisted of only four shrimp with some cocktail sauce. There was also no fish and chips available, though they were on the menu. The French fries were good, but overall, not worth the price. Bar Loretta across the street is better with a great experience at a cheaper price.

Yelp
This has to be one of the best places in San Antonio for fresh oysters from both the East Coast and the gulf. This is a hidden gem in Southtown. They serve some of the freshest oysters I have ever had. They provide some of the best accompanying sauces that I have ever tasted. Their champagne sauce is phenomenal. The food itself is extremely tasty. I enjoy the Ahi tuna which is seasoned to perfection. For my main course, I usually have the mahi-mahi fish tacos, which are succulent and very flavorful. This restaurant has the freshest seafood in town. The only downfall is they serve wine only and not spirits. Also, their indoor seating is extremely limited, therefore, most seats are located outside. We have been there several times and the service is always excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant if the weather is nice and you're in the mood to some of the best oysters you will ever have.

Yelp
We had a perfect anniversary dinner here The oysters were shucked with more care than I've ever experienced and served with delicate horseradish shavings and a house sauce. Wedge salad came pre-chopped because "no one needs that drama" a statement that was more true than i could have guessed. Shrimp pasta was a delightful revelation, and the strawberry shortcake was a revelation

Yelp
Little em's is a fav and does not disappoint! Very pleased with everything from food, service to the vibe. It was a great Friday night dinner spot.

Yelp
Loved the vibe - super cute spot. Also, the food was good! I had the Lobster Roll Connecticut Style with Wedge Salad (wasn't told about the $4.00 up-charge for that change) so a bit of surprise when the bill came. My mom had the Beet Salad and the Shrimp Toast. We were able to snag a parking spot close by. Sundays aren't as busy and it's a bit easier to find an open spot.

Yelp
The atmosphere is so great. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the different oysters that were offered. my burger was so juicy it's called the little Em's burger. Our oyster platter was fresh ( this is coming from a Florida girl) . Their oyster selection changes but we had half the northern belle and half norumbega oysters.

Yelp
Not only is this place super cute and instagram worthy but the food is amazing. We had the beet salad, this is different and unique but a very good mix of flavors. The fish tacos, delicious - the salsas compliment them very well. I do love flans and this one was out of this world, perfect consistency, sweet caramel - I could have had another one. Someone's doing great things in the kitchen. Service was also great and everyone was very attentive. The place was very clean. I can't wait to go back and try other items from the menu.

Yelp
Felt a little over priced for me. I'm not an oyster fan so maybe that's the issue but it was small and I couldn't find a reason to go back.

Yelp
I would take my friends here or a date. Very cute establishment with great service. We had some oysters, a burger, the salmon carpaccio and lobster rolls. The food is amazing and the portions are decently sized. Just know you're paying a little extra for the ambiance.

Yelp
This was our first time trying this place although it's been on my list for quite some time. RW provided the perfect opportunity and so happy that it did. Ariel at the bar took great care of us and we let her drive the menu. Jason the Head Chef came over to chat with us and was not only personable but also very passionate about his menu. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Parking is challenging but well worth it. Oysters were very good but the Spicey Shrimp Linguine was amazing!
