I was in Cabo for a short holiday with guests. We decided to try a restaurant that I had not been to before, Los Tres Gallos. The first thing upon entry that I noticed was a wall portraying the pictures of the three Gallos (or roosters). The next thing was that the restaurant received a Michelin acknowledgement in 2024. This designation means something, aside from the food prices being a tad more expensive, it says they were recognized for food, service, etc. So, plan accordingly, you will spend ($$$) a little more per person, but the experience may be worth it and enjoy the moment.
We arrived on Tuesday, Feb (24th), without reservations for our party of 7 people and were fortunate that we did not have to wait too long for a table. Our server, Jonathan, treated us really well. We ordered alcoholic drinks and water. One note here, instead of getting the bottled water for a price, just ask for the restaurant water. It is in an ice cold pitcher and is safe to drink.
We listen to Jonathan tell us about the specials and ordered some appetizers, chips and salsa. Note, the salsas are not that hot, and you may need to ask for the habanero salsa (it is really spicy so be careful with how much you use).
Our food arrived and it was all very good. Note, if you want borracho beans instead of refried beans, ask and do this at the time of your order. We finished with a few desserts, one of which was he bananas flambeau.
They do take cash or credit card, and as I noted below, parking can be difficult to find.
I hope it you decide to visit that your experience is as good as mine.
