"Opened across from Klyde Warren Park in the former LARK on the Park space, this new Mexican eatery was created by restaurateur Shannon Wynne and veteran chef Miriam Jimenez, who met working in the kitchens of Mesero and Mr. Mesero. The menu emphasizes cocktails — many margarita options, sangria, and an Oaxaca Old-Fashioned — alongside food such as tiger shrimp ceviche, Poblanas enchiladas, carnitas Michoacan, chicken with poblano mole, and combination platters for sampling multiple dishes. The colorful interior features local artwork by Brent Hale and The Miles Sisters and a large ceiling mural; the team promises exotic flavors, zingy cocktails, a relaxed atmosphere, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
