"At Mr BBQ, the meat doesn’t sacrifice quality, as it’s notably one of the only all-you-can-eat spots that offer wagyu and prime-grade beef. Customers can select between two AYCE options, with the premium one comprising a few extras like wagyu beef tongue and filet mignon. The USDA prime ribeye and the beef short rib are two of the most commonly ordered options, and the bulgogi is also a fan favorite, likely due to the marinade derived from the owner’s family recipe. Though Mr BBQ first set up shop in 1995 as a small establishment, the restaurant today feels quite hip with neon lights, upbeat music, animal caricatures, and light-up cocktails." - Cathy Park

I had a great time at Mr. BBQ today with my friend! We went around 1 PM and waited about 20–25 minutes, which wasn’t too bad. The customer service was quick and attentive. We got the premium menu, which included scallops, filet mignon, and beef tongue on top of the regular options. The food was amazing, and the meat quality was really good. I especially loved the brisket and beef tongue. The side dishes were okay, but overall, the experience was very positive. I will definitely come back again!

Google
Service is amazing! Mr BBQ steak is always a staple, Wagyu, and we enjoy the pork butt as well! Parking can be hit or miss depending on the time you go. They have bottled beers and can soda options and everyone gets a small cup of ice cream as well! Clean, service is super friendly, and it’s a fun party like environment for celebrations.

I love Mr. BBQ! It’s all-around a great place to go for kbbq. The wait is can get pretty bad, so I would go early to put your name on the waitlist. The basic menu is honestly all you need. It has brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and what else do you need lol. If you want beef tongue, you can opt for the next level up. I also really like their soju cocktails. There are so many different fruity flavors to choose from and you can mix them as well. They’re handmade, but come sealed in a little can which is so cute. Our server was so nice and friendly as well. And the ice cream was really good.

Google
Some of the best meat in town! Everything is super tender and easy to enjoy. It is definitely worth the wait. It is best to get there early and find parking (it can be a challenge). The menu has a large array of meats, and nothing seemed to disappoint. There was so much flavor in everything I ate.

Google
Incredible food! 3 hour wait 😩 but we’ll worth it, I tried the shrimp, mussels, clams, beef and of course the green tea ice cream. Food was fresh and flavorful, waiter was professional and helpful.

Update 12/6/24 Had lunch on Sunday. 37.99 menu really works for us. If you are a Carnivore then this works great. The Wagyu beef brisket is great - fatty and meaty. The fatty beef brisket also good. Shortly ribs and liver also good. Skip the heavily marinated items as they contain a lot of sugar. When there is someone having a birthday, the music pumps up and birthday person gets a sparkly candle. Very fun. It's great for 37.99 Original post - A great place for ayce kkb if you are in the Fullerton area. Almost as good as Chubby Cattle and cheaper. Good selection and friendly service from Aaron.

Google
To be honest I want give 0 star for the good. We saw 2000+ good views on this restaurant so we go try it out, but trust me, this is the worst Korean BBQ you can have. We spend $48.99 and this is what they served, we ordered the premium WAGYU New York strip and premium WAGYU brisket, and you guys can see the pictures, those are 100% not Premium or WAGYU. I was wondering how much the store owner can make to lie to their customers those are good meet, I hope they can go “thirsty cow” to check out what you can eat when you spend $50 on Korean BBQ. So disappointed and never gonna go back again.Even tho, they have really good service, but the owner should stop lie to people.

First time coming here and although had to wait 20 minutes it was well worth it. Food was good. The server was constantly checking on us making sure we had everything we wanted. The menu had a few options. If you want everything they have to offer it’s $49 person. It’s $39 person of you don’t want the more expensive cuts of meat.

Yelp
FOOD: all you can eat meat! love the flavor and the portions are very reasonable. Service: although it always been pack and worth to wait in line. Once I get my seat absolutely taking care of you right away Ambiance: I love the positive vibes.

Yelp
I recently had a dining experience at a Mr BBQ and it's been a while. Mainly, I recall the long wait, so I would go if I'm in the area and off peak hours. Overall, there is a wide selection of meats to choose from, and they are typically tasty and seasoned. However, I do think there could be more options for those who prefer non-marinated beef. They have a couple of menus available, including standard and premium options. The premium menu includes cuts of higher quality. The restaurant has a lively and dynamic atmosphere, creating an enjoyable setting for socializing. The staff is attentive and friendly, making sure that grills are changed regularly and orders are served promptly. Although the regular menu is decent, I can't help but be drawn to the premium options since my kids love galbi. The premium menu does indeed offer superior cuts, but it can sometimes be challenging to determine its value for money and leaves me wondering if it was worth it. One inconvenience is the wait. It's quite common to experience a wait of over an hour or two for a table, which can be a bit frustrating. Parking can be quite a challenge as it is a bit tight, especially during busy times. This can add to the inconvenience of dining here. If you happen to be in the area and the wait time is reasonable, it could be a good option. Despite the inconveniences of long wait times and parking issues, I tend to opt for driving to nearby cities that provide more appealing options.

Yelp
We came to this kbbq spot after seeing the crazy amount of high reviews and left quite disappointed. Despite the hefty $38 ayce price, the meat quality was really lacking and everything ended up tasting either very bland or super over seasoned. We also found 2 hairs in separate plates. We did let our server, Claire, know and she was so apologetic and was super genuine. Her amazing service saved the experience for us. Expect loud music and long wait times. Pros: All the servers seem amazing big tables for big parties Cons: bland / over seasoned meats unsanitary long wait times expensive lackluster side dishes

Yelp
This is the 2nd time I visited the place, the first time was 2021, I tried to take a reservation for my Dad but the wait was too long and my Dad refused to stay, we ended up going to a different place, but now 2 years later without my Dad, I had finally gave the place a try during lunch hour. The place is pretty modern compared to other Korean BBQ, and the best part at the beginning is they don't have a two person minimum requirement in your party, meaning I can dine hy myself and eat whatever I like, some places in K Town still have that rule, and I could not go or do all you can eat without someone going with me. They have 3 menu options, since it's lunch time and my first time, I didn't want to over do it, although they told me I can upgrade to dinner menu, just need to pay more, yet I wanted to test it out. Everything on the Ayce menu doesn't have a limit either, so if you need to order the same stuffs you can, but for the beef tongue you need to pay higher menu to have that included, oh I miss those days when I can have beef tongue for cheapest menu, not anymore, still everything else on the lunch menu tasted fresh, nothing seems frozen, side dishes portions were decent and flavorful. My server Hung and the rest of the staffs were friendly tentative and accommodating. I was fascinated with the artwork they had in the restaurant and on the silverware so I asked to take some pictures of them, and they gladly accepted. It was good while it lasted, still cheaper than most K bbq anywhere in between my city San Diego and Los Angeles. It was great experience for me, I felt full and not rushed. Definitely come back if I am in the area.

Yelp
The service here is great and so are the menu options and sides. The wait is quite long so do be prepared to wait if you are going during weekend or peek hours. I want to say that this place is consistent but it isn't always. Today my steamed egg looked as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for 30 minutes. One other thing is even though your seated and have ordered the meats take quite a while to come out. There is a usually a long wait and an empty grill while we wait for the next cuts. The sides are great here and the servers are nice they can be very preoccupied though - there is ice cream offered at the end.

Kierstyn A.

Yelp
Updating my review- my boyfriend and I came back for dinner and we had amazing service this time. Our server, Alyssa, took care of us and she was extremely attentive. Our experience was definitely a full 180 since our last time we dined here! The bad service our first time for sure ruined our kbbq experience. They really redeemed themselves because we really enjoyed our meal this time. Some highlights were the brisket and Wagyu beef belly! Thank you Mr. Bbq!

Yelp
This is one of our favorite AYCE KBBQ restaurants in OC, with a wide variety of side dishes and included appetizers such as steamed egg and spicy tofu soup. I always ask for rice paper and the sesame oil with salt to dip the cooked meats and the staff is working hard every minute to attend to all their tables while staying friendly and energetic. The wait is long and the parking lot is small so it's valuable to use the Yelp waitlist and check in with your host when it's a large group, but worth it because the atmosphere is fun and makes eating a fun social experience. Complimentary ice cream scoop is the best end with a choice of flavors like green tea, strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate. Props to Alex for being the best server we've had. Seriously considering gifting their cool merch next time.

Yelp
Mr. BBQ is a premium AYCE KBBQ spot with locations in Fullerton near CSUF and Las Vegas near Chinatown. We came here on a Sunday at around 12:15pm; we put our name on the Yelp waitlist and waited about 15 minutes until we were seated for a party of two. They have a small parking lot which will definitely get full during busy times and you might find cars idling for parked cars leaving to snatch a coveted spot. The prices are below (as of March 2024): - $26.99/person (11am-4pm Monday to Friday excluding holidays) - $36.99/person (dinner, weekends, holidays) We started our meal with a large variety of banchan and we ordered different kinds of protein. The meats were all good quality and we liked a lot of the dipping sauces that accompanied the meat. My favorites meats were the brisket, marinated ribeye, and pork belly. They had complimentary ice cream to end the meal and both chocolate and vanilla were good. The interior looked fun and lively and there were TVs everywhere. The service was good with frequent grill changes. If you're coming on the weekends or for dinner, put your name on the waitlist early or be prepared to wait.

Yelp
I'm in LOVE! Mr BBQ has it's own parking spot, restrooms are up front and are clean, customer service is super friendly and accommodating and the ambiance is bright and fun and super different than the usual KBBQ spots. Sooo many sides, I LOVE IT! Our faves: -Premium WAGYU Beef Belly, -USDA PRIME Grade Top Sirloin -Mussels -Marinated Pork Ribs I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Food here is bomb, no doubt about that, but what really made this experience a 5 star was the phenomenal service we got!! We visited 5/4/24 for dinner time and got assigned the server named Andres. This gentleman went above and beyond the whole night, really making this BBQ stand out from the rest. Andres was really attentive and assured the birthday we were celebrating felt special! Worth mentioning is their fun drink selection; slushy soju!!! Also, I found it sooo cool that the restaurant adds a sparkler to the birthday tray with ice cream.

Brittney E.

Yelp
This is my go to all you can eat (ayce) Korean BBQ spot! We have enjoyed many celebrations and date nights here! The service is always too notch! Lots of options to select from, tons of sides, they will always bring you more of your favorite. They are great about switching out grill often/ as need! Prepare for a wait, or arrive early, this is the spot to be!!

Yelp
Looking for Korean BBQ All-You-Can-Eat that serves quality meat and great customer service? Look no further, Mr BBQ has everything you're looking for. I would genuinely say Mr BBQ ranks among Top #3 Best KBBQ in Southern California. And I'm sure most local foodies and reviewers can agree, just check out these reviews on here. They got TV's everywhere playing your favorite sports game, nice clean environment, enjoy good food while watching the playoffs with a cold beer. The menu has several tiers that fits everyone's budget and selections. The variety of items range from land to sea. They serve different cuts of beef such as beef tongue, beef belly, short ribs, and ribeye. They got different flavored pork belly, pork neck, pork chop, and pork ribs. They have fresh shrimp, squid, octopus, and scallops. For the noodle and soup lovers, they got those too! The list goes on and on for all kind of food lovers. My personal favorite is their USDA Prime Grade Brisket! It's in practically every menu, but man the Brisket here really hits the spot. Much better than most overpriced KBBQ restaurants. Just by looking at the marbling on the brisket, you know it's going to taste perfect. Every bite is just soft, melting away in your mouth like A5 Wagyu. And to know it's unlimited and that bite of perfection doesn't end there, you're sitting in heaven. Don't get me started on the Ribeye, you start wondering how they're making any kind of profit. That ribeye alone is probably more than half what you pay. It's tender, juicy and flavorful. Considering how thick the cut is, you would assume it's chewy but no, it's a nice cut of quality steak. I can go on and on about every entree on the menu but, why read about it, go check it out! (Oh and we also won a 65" TV from their 10th Anniversary Raffle event that they had in April. They gave away iPads, MacBook, PS5, and multiple 65" & 75" TVs. Check out their IG: mrbbqpayce. Thank you guys!!)

Yelp
First timer from the Bay area and even though the foods were outstanding, the service from Jaho (our service man) was icing the cake. Definitely will hit up this joint and WILL ask for Jaho again. Thank you!

Austin D.

Yelp
This is by far the best AYCE KBBQ I've been to. The meat quality is very good!!! Sides are all solid. The service here is also top notch. They're team works well together delivering the best customer service experience I've experienced at a AYCE KBBQ. Restaurant is rather loud with music playing, sports playing, drinks, etc. Parking can be tough though but there are options nearby. Be sure to join the Yelp waitlist before you head over as the wait here can get to over 2 hours on a Friday night! Check this place out, I can guarantee you will love it.

Angelika V.

Yelp
I understand the hype. It's lowkey expensive, but you have a lot of sides and there are plenty of meat + food options, so you could make it worth Also they have a hella nice garden outside

Schyler B.

Yelp
Excellent service and delicious food. From Brisket to Pork Belly was delicious and the Spicy Tofu soup!!

Alyssa B.

Yelp
This place gets crazy busy so don't forget to join the waitlist before arriving! The parking lot gets pretty packed as well so allow time to find a spot upon arrival. Shoutout to Hannah for being the best server for our first-time experience here! She was so attentive, and made sure to check on us every time she came by (with more water, banchan, meat orders, changed our grill when needed). Knocking a star down for the subpar and variety of banchan options but the meat and side options made up for this! It's definitely a poppin and lively party in here, there's music blasting and tv's playing sports games in the evenings.

Bianca D.

Yelp
I'm so happy I was finally able to try Mr BBQ!! We put ourselves on the waitlist at about 5 (definitely suggest using the reminder tool on Yelp for the waitlist) and we were sat at about 6:45. We did the Dinner PAYCE. Our servers were very nice and suggested some great options. We loved the wagyu brisket, spicy marinated pork belly and the short ribs. My boyfriend also tried soju for the first time and loved it; we got the peach one. The restaurant as a whole was super fun, the music was very modern rap & pop and the volume was raised for the celebration songs which I thought was nice. Even though I loved the atmosphere of it, I don't know I would come with a group of people I wanted to have too too many conversations, it sometimes was hard to hear someone across the table. The only negative thing I would have to point out is the parking. I would definitely get here early to try and scout out a good spot.

Timothy Spencer T.

Yelp
TLDR: One of the better KBBQ spots in OC. The lines can get crazy long but it's worth it if you get in line early enough. The prices are reasonable and the choices are plentiful. It's definitely a place I wouldn't mind returning to. 1. Beef Brisket: Solid, flavorful, and we didn't get a batch that started out frozen. It's not the best brisket that I've had but it's up there. 2. Marinated Ribeye: Not too sweet yet very flavorful. This is a very good palate cleanser for me. 3. Beef Belly: Use this to oil up the pan. What I love about this is that the portions are not too fatty. I still prefer the brisket over this, but I'm sure a good percentage of people will prefer this. 4. Top sirloin: Best of the bunch. Cook this medium medium rare for the best results. The meat is super tender but still offers a steaky bite and taste. 5. Finger short rib: It's salty if you don't remove the seasoning before grilling. Outside of that, it's tender and offers a different taste if you're sick and tired of the other meats. Tofu soup: It's light and loaded with tofu. The spiciness level is low and the sourness is very manageable Steamed egg: Stock standard. I would mix it quick since the bottom gets burnt if you leave it untouched when served. Notable sides: Rice paper- good Spinach- fresh Japchae (glass noodle) - solid Potato salad - kinda sweet but it's a palate cleanser Service: It's very good. Our table was rarely out of food and water was never an issue. Staff checks up on us a lot. Ambiance: It's a KBBQ place with young people in mind. The place is well lit, full of TVs, and very lively especially when the birthday song plays.

Clinton T.

Yelp
The best overall KBBQ I've been to. Great soju options, amazing meats and sides. Try the steamed egg, Portuguese sausage and ask your server for the special sauce.

Heather J.

Yelp
I've been going to Mr BBQ for years now so I can't believe I haven't reviewed it before! This place is well worth the hype and insanely busy all the time for a reason. You'll come out stuffed and happy at the end of your meal for sure. Their parking lot can get full during peak hours, especially since they share it with another restaurant. There are times where we had to park at a nearby neighborhood because the lot was full. If you don't come in at opening time, you will most likely have to wait. Even if you come at opening, there's usually a line waiting to get in! Utilize the Yelp waitlist and join remotely if you can. Service here is great and they're always very kind, quick, and attentive. We usually have to pay premium price as that is the default during the weekends. For food items I recommend: * Wagyu Beef Belly * Wagyu Finger Short Ribs * Miso Marinated Pork Belly * Spicy Marinated Squid * Sundubu * Steamed Egg The atmosphere is fun, bright, and loud. There are several TV's around the restaurant usually playing sports games. If it's your birthday, they'll definitely make you feel special! You just have to dine here to see what I mean. At the end of your meal, they offer complimentary ice cream which is always appreciated, even though we may be too stuffed to finish it!

Diana G.

Yelp
This place is a whole vibe. Lighting is the cherry on top of feel good music playing above you. Service is always Top Notch!! Food is always fresh! Some pieces better than others but overall meat is fresh and cooks perfectly. Grill changes are often! Ask for the cup of garlic for your grill top and Corn cheese!! It's like the Korean version of an esquite.

Toni L.

Yelp
This spot has been living in my bookmarks for the longest time !! Unfortunately the location is off the beaten trail for us (from Irvine) & the wait times are always hours long !! Well on our anniversary it called for a special dinner & we chose this spot ! It landed on a weekday so I was thinking there wouldn't be a wait. I also checked Yelp before getting to the restaurant which was deceiving since it said there was a 0 min wait time hmm... When we got there we were lucky to get the *last* parking spot ! & there already were groups waiting. We ended up waiting 32 minutes which really isn't too bad. Right away I was very impressed with the ambiance ! I've been to many kbbq spots la & oc - & this one tops them all ! It has the music, the lighting, & the TV's !! (if you can't leave home because your game is on... have no fear watch it here !) Our server was awesome & so patient ! Most kbbq places have a maximum of ordering only 3 meats at a time rule - not Mr. BBQ. For the first round we got all the fixings (onions, garlic, extra rice paper, bean paste, etc) + lots of meat. One thing I did not like was the soda was in can form - when I go to a restaurant I prefer a fountain soda - yes they do taste different. I am very boring when it comes to kbbq & usually only stick to brisket & beef belly. Both were so delicious !!! The beef belly was my favorite, so perfectly THINLY sliced & marbled to perfection. YUM!!!!! I also want to note that during our visit we brought in an infant metal cup - 4 oz size. It was used by my 9 month old. I was very forgetful & I left the cup on the table. I didn't remember the cup until we were just about home. I called the restaurant the next day to check lost & found. I even gave the name of our server, & the cup wasn't there. I even mentioned to check the kitchen since metal cups were used for water but the person on the phone explained they don't bring other items back to the kitchen that doesn't belong to the restaurant. VERY disappointing as this was my sons favorite cup. Shame on the restaurant staff for stealing the cup !!! Hopefully one of the staffs read this & sees this message.j

Kev D.

Yelp
Premium ayce what a staple in the start of being one of the pioneers around the OC as a premium location. Food is always great along with so many sides. The service is always friendly with a smile and requests are always no issues and the accommodations for kids with their bento plates such a great touch to keep the kids busy and happy with their meal. Ambience sheesh I always love when they got bdays there and the staff turns up to wish the guest a happy bday with fiddy, go, go shorty it's yo birthday!!!...

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Korean all you can eat bbq is always so fun for any occasion or just simply for dining. Come here for a birthday celebration! They provide sparkling candle and ice cream for the birthday person. Service is excellent. Adequate staff and entrees as well as requests come out in a jiffy! Only get the upgrade menu section if you want scallops, short ribs bone in (Galbi), beef tongue, ribeye (non marinated) was the most tender I've ever had, octopus and pork jowl was rich and slightly chewy. They had filet mignon and Wagyu NY steak on the upgrade menu but I didn't order it to try since the ribeye was so yum! Banchan was of good variety and I adored the green spinach, cucumber kimchi and bean sprouts. Yummy all you can eat kbbq here with top notch service! Make sure to join the waitlist when you want to dine at that particular time. They don't take reservations. All you can eat is well worth the price tag here and can't wait to return!

Julie N.

Yelp
Really delicious. Great service, amazing food and fun atmosphere! Definitely would come back! Many delicious great quality sides to eat with meat! Love the complimentary ice cream!

Jenna L.

Yelp
We went here on Superbowl Sunday, after a long snowboarding day at Bear. Even on that Sunday ~9pm, it was still a 20/30minute wait! I haven't had AYCE in years and this place hit the spot! The meat, obviously, is not as good as the non-AYCE places but still pretty good. Get the brisket! That was our favorite. They provide a ton of sides (ask for rice paper), and refills if you ask! Music was wayyyyyyyyy too loud imo, it was like we were in an EDM club. Great spot for larger groups.

Yatziri M.

Yelp
Food was AMAZINGGG so good i definitely will be coming back ! Service was good too! Staff was super nice and would check up on us every few minutes. Wait is super super long so make sure to get yourself on the wait list a few hours ahead maybe took about 3 and a half hours Super clean and nice ! Restrooms were clean as well.

David S.

Yelp
The best KBBQ spot in orange county. I love coming here. I don't come here as often as I would love to. Because it's always busy. Waiting time could be a long time. But it's really good. I mean. The fact that you have to wait a long time. Says something about this place. And I highly recommend it.

Dexter F.

Yelp
This was a surprise as I thought it was a run of the mill BBQ joint. I personally love Korean BBQ and this place hit the spot. The service as attentive and lively. Along with the atmosphere of the restaurant: upbeat with techno music jamming in the background. We opted for a pre-fixed meal that include various meats and vegetables. The concluded with a choice of complimentary ice cream. I look forward to coming back again

Bianca M.

Yelp
We came in last night and I wish we would have taken pictures but we were super hungry to even think about it. This is our second time at this KBBQ and it is worth the drive and wait. The meat is so good, well seasoned and tender. I love how they give you plenty of sides and service is better than any other kbbq I have been to. Arshin our server was awesome he is very attentive, super cool and super nice when we kept asking him for refills or questions we may have had. He was very quick to change our grill as well before it got too burnt. The vibe is cool in there and good thing it is not loud in there where we can't hear each other. That's one of our pet peeves when we are trying to eat dinner and music is too loud. Definitely worth it give it a try we can't wait to go back.

Courtney T.

Yelp
One of the best AYCE kbbq! I was super impressed with the quality of the meats. My party of 2 came on Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm & there was no wait but even around 5-5:30 there were still available tables. Usually the weekends & evenings have super long waits. I came on a weekend before & had to wait almost 2-3 hrs to be sat. Lunch price is until 4 pm Mon-Thurs at $26.99. Our waiter honored it even though it was slightly after 4 pm. The base dinner price would have been $36.99 otherwise. Service was great throughout & our first waiter was super friendly & nice! All the meats were delicious & never lost moisture. The brisket is one of the best I've ever had hands down, it just melted in your mouth & had great marbling. Beef belly also was fantastic. The premium cut pork belly was SO GOOD & had a great char once grilled. The Bulgogi was sweet & tender. They also give you tons of side dishes (banchan), over 10 of them. Ice cream is complimentary at the end too! Today they had strawberry, chocolate, or cookies&cream. The parking lot usually fills up quickly at dinner & on the weekends so highly recommend doing weekdays or putting your name down on Yelp! Highly recommend! The wait is totally worth it.

Dee E.

Yelp
I go to this place often because the quality of the meat and it's always busy. Today was very exceptional, because our server Mina was very attentive and super friendly. She made sure we were having a good time and checked on us often to see if we needed anything else. Coming here often, I can say that she provided the best service I've had since coming here. Shout out to Mina, thank you for being a great server and hope you get a raise girl! You deserve it. Thank you!

Winston L.

Yelp
The best quality of service and food. Especially Arshin is the best server ever I seen last few years. If you have a birthday party, this is the MUST HAVE place. Great!

Braxton H.

Yelp
Arrived at Mr KBBQ and was seated very quickly. The service was extremely efficient and quick in this place, I can completely see why this place is rated so high. There is a waitlist if there is an abundance of people, so try to come early! Ordered the lunch combo for 2, which came out to be around $60.23. Our server was super friendly and was able to get our meats very fast. I love how there are so many televisions and that there is ventilation so that you don't come home smelling like KBBQ. As for the meats, the brisket was super tender and juicy, with the beef belly being a nice addition to the meal. Also ordered the sliced pork belly, which felt like eating chips because of its thinly sliced option! ( this was the first time I enjoyed eating pork belly ). The meal also comes with a complimentary ice cream of the day, which I felt was super refreshing after a bulky meal. Highly recommend giving this place a try and will be definitely coming back! Knocked my expectations out of the ballpark!

Judy D.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 we had some good meats like the prime ribeye and choice filet mignon, brisket and belly were decent, beef tongue was dry because we got the end part cuts. They gave a lot of side dishes and good salad. My steamed egg was overcooked. Value: 3.5/5 unfortunately beef tongue was on the more expensive menu so we had to go with that option and we got the bad part of the tongue so wasn't worth it to upgrade for us. Unless you're into the filet, New York, and ribeye steaks then definitely worth it. After tax and tips around $60 pp. Cons: place is popular so expect a long wait always, parking can be a b****, they can sit 6 people to one grill so expect to eat less when you're in a big group whereas other ayce places 6+ people will have 2 grills.

Yelp
Love this find! Staff is very friendly and the meat quality is excellent. There are a ton of options! I can't think of an order we didn't gobble up. You get tons of sides and they brought us free ice cream which was a nice touch. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Coworker recommended this spot and WOW. The vibe in here is actually awesome. Music is bumping like it's somebody's aux. There are birthday celebrations left and right and they get HYPE to sing for people. We waiting through virtual queue here on yelp for maybe 2 hours, but it was well worth the wait. The quality of meat here is like no other! Every cut we tried was savory and filled with flavors I had never tried before! Each side was perfect and didn't fill us up too much before the main course! The servers here were friendly and were back and forth to bring us different cuts to try. They even brought complimentary ice cream after it was all said and done! Definitely recommending this spot to friends and family in the future.

Yelp
Service is attentive and friendly. Food is incredible all the time with QUALITY meats and banchan. Vibe is like a party and noisy (beware). The wait is always worth it. Parking is not the best but not terrible, just not enough parking.

Yelp
We LOOOOVE this place !! It is normally soooo busy at night, try to get reservations first !! We come about 2:00 so that we could get the cheaper price and than we're normally full for dinner as well. LOOOOVE this place BUUUUT the music is ridiculously loud !! I wish they would turn it down but I'm old, so go figure lol My daughters wish was to finally get to have an alcoholic slushy from here. NORMALLY the staff is amazing, there was just one time were the waitress was HORRIBLE. But my friend is a manager at a restaurant and said I NEVER tip under 25%, even when they suck. I told him cool, you pay the tip and we'll pay the bill.

Yelp
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation for server Joe Won. He provided exceptional customer service, checked on us frequently, and got us everything we needed. Went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier. Thank you again.

Yelp
Best KBBQ I've tried is the Anaheim/ Fullerton area! First definitely recommend joining the virtual queue on here as it will save you a lot of time instead of showing up and getting a 2hr wait time. You're paying for high quality meat cuts and plenty of side dishes. The staff here is always amazing as they are always checking up on you. They play great music and they have TVs playing a lot of sports so good to come here for an event.

Yelp
Love Mr BBQ. Was there recently to celebrate a birthday. We joined the waitlist and once we arrived we were seated promptly. The service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive, changed out the grill frequently and checked in us regularly. One of the best all you can eat Korean BBQ places in the area.

Yelp
Wow! This spot is definitely worth the wait! Our server was Vince and he made sure we were taken care of. He was Prompt with the orders and checked in on us often. It was a Friday night at 830pm and it was packed! Very lively restaurant and they had some fun upbeat music playing. All of the sides and meats were delicious. They played a fun birthday song and the ice cream came with a huge sparkler! It was a great experience with great service!

Yelp
Solid AYCE KBBQ spot in the OC. This place is extremely popular so getting on the waitlist is a must. Note that this restaurant requires you to be within 5 miles of the restaurant in order to put yourself on the Yelp waitlist so plan accordingly. We came here on a Friday around 5ish and we waited about 30 minutes after getting on the waitlist. I like that they have a few tables and chairs in the waiting area so we had a place to sit while we waited. After we got a table, a server came by with 17 banchan for our table - 18 if I'm counting the salad. We were ordering 3 per round from the $36.99 PAYCE menu. I like that the servings were small so we were able to try different things each round. My favorites were the USDA Prime Grade Finger Short Ribs, Baby Squid, Marinated Pork Ribs, and Marinated USDA Choice Grade Ribeye. The only dishes I wouldn't get again are the Housemade Steamed Eggs and the Fresh Shrimp. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was superb. The servers were diligent about changing the grill, getting our orders, and removing empty plates from our table. They even offered us ice cream at the end of our meal. My only wish is that the music wasn't blasting so loud in the background as it was hard to have conversations. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and left feeling full and satisfied!

Yelp
I am really disappointed as mr. Bbq was one of my favorite kbbq spots. I don't come here often because it's far from me. We stopped by for lunch while my car was getting tinted in town. Service and food was great, it was a delicious lunch. I ate so much here so I was really full so I didn't eat anything else the rest of the day. Hours later at night, I get the worst cramps of my life. It continues on and my bf also starts getting stomach cramps too. I thought it was just temporary but it kept going on for hours so we knew it had to be food poisoning. The cramps kept us up all night. It's been two days now and we still have food poisoning. This has been a pretty terrible experience to say the least and sadly, I don't think I would come back here as I never want to go through this food poisoning again. I don't know if it was the salad or the meat that caused this because there's just so many dishes it's hard to pinpoint what caused the food poisoning.

Yelp
Came in for a birthday and it was busy as always. Though definitely worth the wait-- because the meat is great quality and the three tiered pricing is convenient depending what you're feeling like eating. The ambiance is loud -- I'm sure to help get people out faster etc but it's fun and they do a fun birthday celebration with a candle sparkle.

Yelp
Food: 3.8/5 we came here @1500 for lunch and it wasn't pack at all, plenty of seats, no wait. The side dishes were good 5/5. The meats quality was 3/5 for me, it wasn't as juicy or fresh. The brisket was 2/5 this time, it was really dry, even the beef brisket was not good. Marinated squid 5/5, the sauce is good, but it burns the grill easily, I would recommend cook it right before grill change. Service: 3.5/5 our first server was kinda slow. We were seated and it takes 15 minutes for someone to come over to check on us and and pretty much getting started. We later got a new person as our server because the first one needs to go on break. This time it was better, this guy was more attentive except he can't hear us because of the loud music, so he keeps noting down the wrong order. Ambiance: 4/5 music was too loud. I could hardly hear my friend and my server can't hear as well.

Yelp
This Korean BBQ spot is definitely a vibe. Good music is bumping & those with birthdays received ice cream & sparklers. Other than that, service is lacking & food overall is just mediocre. Our server was very forgetful, so we had to keep asking for the same items over & over again, & overall he lacked attentiveness. For pork lovers, they have an extensive list of pork items compared to beef. 6/10 - Banchan (side dishes): everything was okay, nothing special; japchae didn't taste good & noodles were a bit too soft 9/10 - #1 Brisket, #5 Finger short ribs, #15 Miso marinated pork belly, #20 Marinated pork ribs 7/10 - #4 Top sirloin, #17 Marinated pork chops 4/10 - #2 Beef Bulgogi
