My sister and I stopped by this bakery as we were waiting for a take out order from a nearby chicken place to be made. The customer service here was so lackluster and unhelpful. This bakery mainly serves the local Hispanic communities and all the signage in the store is in Spanish, which neither me nor my sister speak. Most of the stuff in the bakery didn't have signs saying what it was or what it contained, which is a serious allergy risk for people like my sister with food allergies. We asked the two young ladies working there on Saturday night what different pastries were and what they contained and they didn't seem to know half of the food they were selling. They also seemed confused when we asked how people grab the pastries (like if there were boxes or napkins or tongs to use). Once we picked out what we were gonna buy, we get to the register and THEN they tell us they only take cash. I find it ridiculous that a business with a physical location like this only takes cash. The two young ladies told us that there was an ATM not far away we could use and that they'd bag up our food while we went to get cash. My sister and I still had time to kill before picking up our chicken from the other place, so we went and got cash. We got back to the bakery (maybe 10 minutes later) and they hadn't wrapped up our food or anything (I guess they didn't think we were coming back). The customer service continued to be lackluster up until we left the bakery. When we tasted what we got (a couple empanadas and a couple pieces of cake), the empanadas were pretty good but the cake was dry, bland, and disappointing. I doubt I'll be going back to this bakery in the future.
