"Teresa Finney launched Atlanta micro-bakery At Heart Panaderia earlier this year, selling creatively flavored conchas at pop-ups around town. Finney began developing recipes during the pandemic and found solace in baking conchas, which helped her feel connected to her family. Despite challenges, she managed to grow her homemade business by joining a collaborative commercial kitchen. Her pop-ups are announced on Instagram, where she sells unique concha flavors and plans to expand her offerings." - Lia Picard

Stopped by this place to get some food and got the chicken tinga quesadilla. The outside was perfectly toasted, and the inside was loaded with juicy, flavorful chicken and melty cheese that pulled apart in the best way. It came out hot and fresh, and honestly, it just hit the spot. Super comforting and super satisfying without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those meals you don’t expect to crave again, but I already do. If you’re nearby, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

The chicken quesadillas are perfect fast food for breakfast. Walk in, grab a sweet bread, a quesadilla, and coffee. Pay and leave. The tortillas that they use are my favorite. Get over the language barrier using google translate if you need to. So much better than any of the fast food on Buford for breakfast. No tables, don't stay. Just buy and leave.

No price tag here. I asked the price of the cake in the show case and the worker told me it was $9 for a small piece of cake. No fruit on it, nothing fancy about the cake. Basically all customers are Spanish. I can't help but wonder, the price will be different depending on the customer?

I went in to show love to a Spanish business. Asked the girl for a torta. She said they don't make tortas. Mentioned the sign. She said torta is not a sandwich. I appreciate Spanish culture but I can't get over the interaction. Torta was good. Tres leches here is dry. (Go to grocery next door) See the pic. Is it a sandwich?

Sweet breads were ok. I got them at the end of the day so maybe wasn't such a fair assessment. Flavors were good but a lot of the breads were just the same dough in different shapes.

Went on a Sunday morning for the 1st time, since I saw plenty of people dining in and taking orders to go I thought this bakery must be good....I picked out about 6 different types of bread from the bakery and ordered 3 quesadillas and when I got home to eat them I felt disappointed that the quesadillas barely had any cheese or filling inside and ALL of the bread tasted old/stale 😭. I threw them all away. On a positive note the tortilla for the quesadillas seemed to be homemade and was good as well as the red salsa was good. Don't know if I just happened to visit at a bad time since a lot of the reviews mention that they do like the food and bread 🤷‍♀️.

Yelp
Love supporting family owned local businesses! This was a hit! Stopped in on a whim and to check it out and it did not disappoint! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Offered help with selections and descriptions of pastries. Tried a Bavarian cream empanada (beautifully dusted with sugar, great flavor, dense pastry), the strawberry roll was so light and flakey (could have used a bit more filling tho), and a chicken quesadilla that was the bomb - star of the show! Absolutely delicious shredded Mexican chicken in a huge tortilla served with green and red sauces. Will definitely be back to support this adorable bakery!

Yelp
I have been going here for years for their pastries and cakes. I know they will have other things like tamales and so forth from time to time but I have never tried them. I will say their coffee is unfortunately not that great though. Other than not so great coffee, I've enjoyed going and buying their bread, it's always on point. I will admit their staff can be hit and miss but it almost seems that those that can't speak much english are nicer than those that can. By the way, be warned, they only accept cash as payment.

Yelp
Quiet little place I found one night while craving pan dulce. Pan was super soft and delicious. I got the pan with the sprinkles, and it didn't disappoint. Will come again

Yelp
I love coming in on the weekends either to pick up or dine in... they have gorditas and quesadillas ready to go for a quick breakfast.

Yelp
This is a legit Mexican Panaderia (bakery). Even complete with some Guatemalan touches. They had a large selection of all the Mexican bakery specialties, which are generally dense, dry and not the sweet. I love Mexican everything, but their baked goods (non-tortilla) are a weak spot. I enjoy a few selections, but none blew me away. On a whim I did buy some chicken tamales and a bean gordita! REDEMPTION!!! This was the real deal, sooooo delicious. This place is cash only. You can always go to the weird convenient store across the street and watch the deer-in-the-headlight looks when all the guys on the video poker notice an intruder. They have an ATM there. They also have 3 leches cake and a yummy 'gelatina' which is fancy jello, usually with a milky component. Stick with the gorditas, tamales and gelatinas for the good stuff. The rest will make you very thirsty. Fun fact: the gordita is one of the most honest foods out there. It wills you what you will become if you eat it continually. Gordita=Chubby.

Yelp
I would never come back here again. The service is so horrible. I've been here two times and both times has been so disappointing that I have promised myself to never to enter this place again. I really enjoy eating sweet bakery desserts, but I think I'd better go elsewhere to receive better service. The workers in this bakery store do not greet you when you enter. In addition, there is are no prices posted on the bakery goods; so you have no idea how much these people are charging you. I came here twice and felt that I were overcharged for my bakery goods than customers who came in that speak their native language.

Yelp
Panaderia Del Valle is an authentic Mexican bakery on Buford Highway offering traditional Mexican pastries. Self service operation featuring breads, buns, cookies, and turnovers. The baked goods here are a bit drier than what most would expect, and definitely not as sweet as I like. Popular with the Mexican clientele they cater to, but otherwise probably not a lot to offer local "gringos". Good for a quick fix, I may be back for a guava turnover. Hasta la vista, baby.

Yelp
I gave this bakery 2 opportunities and it failed both times. Yes, they have an assortment of Hispanic pastries, but they the bread is dry and flavors are bland and simple. The bread is overpriced with the quality that they provide. I have not tried anything else they provide (food). If you do decide to give this place a try try to be there early when the fresh bread comes out of the oven. When picking out your bread give it a little pinch with the tongs so you can tell if its soft (means it's fresh) or hard (has been sitting there a while).

Yelp
I loved this panaderia. The pastries are delicious, and they weren't overwhelmingly sweet, which previous reviews mentioned. I thought they were perfect. Their flan is amazing, and their pineapple pastries were on point.
