Best New Restaurants in Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill Triangle, 2022 | Eater Carolinas

"Longtime Cary favorite Pizzeria Faulisi has reimagined itself as Faulisi Caffee & Enoteca, opening early to offer an Italian cafe breakfast. Think biscotti, zucchini cake, focaccia French toast, and of course, plenty of espresso drinks. In the afternoon, sandwiches such as roast turkey or country ham and burrata are available, alongside a slimmed-down menu of Faulisi’s wood-fired pizzas. Italian wines, beers, sodas, and other non-alcoholic drinks round out the new selections." - Matt Lardie

Best Pizzas in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, North Carolina | Eater Carolinas

"Locally milled flour from Boulted Bread in Raleigh is combined with imported flour from Italy’s Piedmont region to make the craveable dough that forms the base of Pizzeria Faulisi’s wood-fired pies. Innovation doesn’t just stop at the crust, though. Creations like the Why Not (pineapple, prosciutto, pickled chilis, mozzarella, pecorino) put Faulisi squarely at the intersection of tradition and innovation." - Matt Lardie

Husband-and-wife owners Zach and Amber Faulisi turn out crackling, wood-fired pies from a Neapolitan oven, plus simple salads and Italian desserts. Lauded by The News & Observer and regularly cited by local critics, it helped energize downtown Cary’s dining scene. Arrive early—lines move, but the margherita and funghi sell fast.

Faulisi Caffè & Enoteca, situated in the heart of downtown Cary, is a must-visit for lovers of wood‑fired pizza and thoughtful Italian fare. With its friendly atmosphere, high‑quality ingredients, wine corner, and warm service, it feels like a culinary home away from home. Decorated with personal touches—family photos of owners Zach and Amber—the cafe feels like a true local gem.

I had an amazing farro salad this morning and the flavor profile was perfect and well balanced! I also had the Hot Italian sandwich, it had just the right amount of heat. All items were easily customizable to my dairy free needs! Love this adorable cafe, and the new hours are great for my family.

Google
Great little pizzeria very close to downtown! We could smell the pizza from outside, decided to stop in and absolutely fell in love! Great atmosphere, cute seating and even a bar to watch the chefs work their magic on the beautiful wood fire oven. Pizza was phenomenal and service was amazing!! My boys, husband and I were fighting over every slice :) Can’t wait to try again

Google
Best pizza in Raleigh hands down. Great salads. Kinda weird hours. Also have great desserts. The lemon tart was insanely good. Highly Highly Highly recommend.

Google
I ate for the first time here since only being home from Italy for 3 days and this pizza was better than almost every one that I had in Italy. The appetizers were phenomenal as well. Presentation 100/10. I only wish the appetizers were bigger, but that’s nothing against them. I just.. wanted more. Staff was very friendly. The oven itself is beautiful. Service was great. Would absolutely recommend coming here and eating anything and everything on the menu.

Google
The coffee here is spectacular! My barista, Savvy, was very proud of the fact that all of the syrups were made in-house. I also got a spectacular margherita pizza :) the bread was divine Edit to add: my favorite barista Savvy no longer works at this Cafe :(

Google
It’s not quite “textbook” Neapolitan, and it’s not at all New York style either. Pizzeria Faulisi just calls it “thin crust, wood-fired pizza”. And it is very, VERY good! 🍕 🍕 🍕 In the heart of downtown Cary, Pizzeria Faulisi serves up delicious pies crafted with freshly-milled flour from Boulted Bread in Raleigh & Caputo flour from Italy. It’s baked about 90 seconds at 800 degrees or so in the Stefan Ferraro oven from Naples. All the pizzas are 12 inches in diameter, thin crust, and are 100% wood fired. They run around $18 to $20 each, in late 2024. (If you think that’s too much, open your own spot and charge less). And don’t sleep on terrific sides like Ricotta Gnocchi or Wood Fired Cauliflower Caesar Salad. Great stuff from a true Mom and Pop spot, with owner/chefs Zach (Babbo) and Amber (Locanda Verde) Faulisi - always excellent, smiling service with a spotless open kitchen and dining room. Photos: ✅ Salumi Pizza - Hot Soppressata, Tomato, Mozzarella, Asiago, Oregano ✅ Burrata Pizza ✅ Amat Pizza - Tomato, Mozzarella, Three Meats Crumbled and Crisped (Prosciutto, Pepperoni and Hot Soppressata), Oregano ✅ Lunch sandwich, Burrata, Prosciutto, Arugula and Radicchio Jam… ✅ Perfect cleanliness… ✅ And even with fun restrooms! If you’re in the Cary / Raleigh area, be sure to check out Pizzeria Faulisi (“Fah – Lee – See”). 🍕 🍕 🍕 BTW, big new Public Parking garage coming soon, so that will help with the parking issues of the past.

Google
Overall Rating: 4.7/10 The food was decent, and the ambiance felt good and cozy. However, the cost seemed high relative to the quality and quantity received. Margherita Pizza: 5.9/10 Well-cooked but notably simple in flavor. The crust was particularly disappointing, tasting like plain, slightly burnt dough without a dash of salt. While this might be their style, it came across as too basic. Ricotta and House-Made Bread: 6.7/10 This dish stood out more positively, featuring basic yet quality ingredients. The cheese was notably good. Gnocchi 4.4/10 It was quite underwhelming, tasting generic and lacking distinctiveness. It felt like something you could pick up from a grocery store without anyone noticing a difference. Value: 2.1/10 Paying $48 for two appetizers and a pizza might not seem excessive at first glance, but charging $14 for the gnocchi portion didn't match up with its perceived value, making it seem overpriced.

Yelp
Great pizza. Some of the best in the area The service is so slow. And they just let people sit at the table and talk after they're are done eating and drinking while several other couples and families were waiting for a table over 50 minutes.

Yelp
We've tried to come here a few times, but there is usually a sign on the door that says their waitlist is full or they don't do take out orders. We decided to ask even thought thee was a sign on the door and they said they had room for us. It's a small little restaurant inside. We came with a party of five and ordered a pizza for each person. It was a perfect amount for an adult if you're really hungry. For kids, probably two could share one. I got the fungi white pizza and it was delicious. I loved all the flavors. I tried the margarita pizza and that was also really yummy. We tried an Italian beer, which was pretty good. There weren't many beer options. Overall, Pizzeria Faulisi is a yummy pizza option in downtown Cary.

Yelp
Cozy restaurant and best to head early to grab a table. If you enjoy thin crust pizza, this would be the place. There is a small selection of white and red sauce pizza. Service was prompt and our server always checked in with us. Great place to have a family dinner out with the kids!

Yelp
This is THE BEST pizza in not just Cary, but the surrounding area as well. The Ricotta and House Bread is something that I think about all the time - It's so good. Go - you won't regret it.

Yelp
absolutely incredible!!!! stopped by for dinner without a reservation, just 2 people, at around 6:45pm. the place was pretty full but we got seats at the bar, which ended up being great because we could see up close how the magic was being made! it was kind of loud inside, so i thought i heard the server say each pizza was individual size, and suffice it to say they were much larger than i was envisioning. we ordered one margherita and one sassier italian (pesto and calabrian chiles) and the pizzas came out super quick. both were absolutely delicious. we especially enjoyed the sassier italian, which was actually spicy! i can't wait to return to try some other menu items, especially the tiramisu (which looked amazing as servers walked by with it), the cannolis, and the arugula pizza. an awesome little joint!!
google avatar

Sikoya A.

Yelp
I usually come here for the tiramisu, but decided to sit down for a pizza today and enjoyed every bite. Loved the atmosphere, it could be a great spot for a date night or taking friends visiting from out of town. Waiter was attentive and the food arrived fairly quickly. I'll be coming back again!

Yelp
After hearing many positive reviews about the pizza, I finally made it in for lunch. Great location with plenty of parking. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. Stopped in for lunch and didn't realize they don't offer individual slices, so naturally I had to order a pizza for myself:) I ordered the Margherita pizza, it's cooked in their wood oven and was flavorful. Can't wait to try other menu items. Nice and small intimate pizzeria in the heart of Cary.

Yelp
Pizzas are very delicious! Service is friendly and attentive. They ask about food allergies before you order which I believe is important.

Yelp
Well - as pizza connoisseurs - my wife and I recently visited Pizzeria Faulisi. To get to the meat of the review - we will DEFINITELY be back. Through no fault of PF (Pizzeria Faulisi) parking was a bear - we did finally find a spot right near the entrance but that was pure luck. There were very very few open parking spots, and that area is dense with restaurants, shops, etc. We were greeted immediately and seated - VERY nice "greeter and seater". We were seated at the "bar" and enjoyed watching the pizzas being made right in front of us... The general ambiance of the restaurant is quite pleasant - architecturally well designed and contributes to the feeling of being in a pizzeria in Italy. Our waitress/server was great - friendly, knowledgable and pleasant to interact with. Never pushy, never in a rush ... nice! We had the Cauliflower Caesar (we split it) - OMG - that was really REALLY delicious - cooked in the pizza oven just right (NOT burned or blackened). We will definitely have that again. My wife had the Margherita Pizza and I had the Spicy Meat Pizza (can't remember the name, menu is not online, and it's the only spicy meat pizza on the menu). We both thought this was one of the best pizzas we have had (and we have been to Italy for pizza)! Be aware, this is a thin crust pizza (in case you yearn for a big thick crust - this ain't it)... but - oh my - it was delicious. We each actually ate the entire pie (unusual for us). We were too full to have dessert but the dessert menu looked great. All in all a great evening, delicious food, and pleasant atmosphere - what more can you ask for?

Yelp
Best fire roasted pizza around! While we haven't dined in, the take out experience was quick and easy. Looking forward to dining in sometime soon! Also, the pizza with arugula and lemon is the best!

Yelp
Always good and the tiramisu was the best version that I have tasted, ever! New seasonal veggies with a very yummy compound butter. Try it! I am usually gluten free but for whatever reason, their pizza dough doesn't make me feel bloated or cramps. I think they special order their flour from Italy(?)??

Daphne R.

Yelp
The best pizza. It is so tasteful and fresh. I love the different ingredients I use on the pizza. We also love the baked cauliflower appetizer highly recommend.

Yelp
Went there yesterday all excited been waiting all day, I went with my wife my 23 month old son and our good friend. Parking was ok wasn't terrible next to the pizzeria, walked in was definitely smaller than we expected but that doesn't matter we came for the food right! They sat us down and right away ppl started looking at us I guess because we had a toddler made us feel a little weird but whatever, our waiter comes over and my wife asks for the menus since there was only the alcohol menu on the table, and asked for a drink he come back with a warm Pepsi can and asks if she wants ice and she kindly said yes please, he comes back with a small little cup with like 3 ice cubes and was like are you guys ready to order and we're like where's the menu? Comes back we order within a few mins, my son's pizza came out with the appetizers fairly quick which was good, and we tried to get him to eat the pizza well that wasn't happening so as a parent you're not going to let your kid not eat, I decided to look for other options and decided to go to McDonalds, we come back just in time for the pizza, we sit down and started eating, Pizza looked good a little flimsy but good taste then the waiter comes over to our table for the 1st time all afternoon "I am sorry we can't have you bring outside food for him because of cross contamination" I was like we ordered 3 appetizers and 3 pies and the poor kid hasn't eaten anything that's not right and he's like I'm sorry, we then asked can we put it something then he came over with a huge pizza box and we put it in there as people stared, ambiance was not what we expected, if you have small children bring extra food something they eat, not all children are the same....

Jackie V.

Yelp
Best pizza...OMG!! Unfortunately I didn't take photos, but I had the burrata pizza, and it was amazing! The crust was absolutely perfect, the sauce amazing, and the mozzarella to die for. I also had the cauliflower Caesar salad which is a must try! The only complaint I have is that they close so early. Big shout out to the host, Sam!! He save the night for us. Thank you Sam! He is an outstanding young employee, and should be valued.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place! Friendly, attentive service, nice vibe and good food! Had the salad, which had unique lettuces, was lightly dressed and delicious! Tried two pizzas -amat and why not? Both were tasty with delicious crust. I will say the center could have been crispier. Overall, really enjoyed - We'll be back!

Kevin M.

Yelp
One of our all time favorite date night locations and the first choice when family and friends are in town. Big check next to all the things we expect - Great food, service, and ambiance. Next time you are on the hunt for a great wood fired pizza, salad, drinks and don't forget the fresh made deserts with an espresso, check out Pizzeria Faulisi.

Yelp
The service is fantastic here and I love the pretty and cozy bistro atmosphere. The pizza is tasty, but a little charred on the crust. This is a relaxing place to grab a bite in downtown Cary.

Yelp
WOW. What a major disappointment. Unfortunately I cannot give the pizza a score as I was told they were closing in 20 minutes and could not serve me. Walked over from the Mayton Inn knowing they closed at 8. Walked in the door at almost exactly 7:30. The hostess saw me and said she'd be right with me. When she finally got to me I asked if there was room at the bar as just wanted to order a pizza. There was only one spot that appeared open but she said no there was nothing available there. I asked if I could sit at a table and she said unfortunately they were full ( at least 2 tables were open). Turning down a customer who enters 30 minutes before closing time is a first for me. I stay at the Mayton a few times a month but I won't be walking over to Pizzeria Faulisi again.

Shaniqua J.

Yelp
Faulisi is by far my favorite pizza place in North Carolina, maybe even the best restaurant in North Carolina. Everybody is amazing, from the owner to the servers to the chef. One waiter who I am pretty sure his name was Sam, and he was so accommodating. The food is even better, I have tried all types and they never fail to satisfy my hunger. This is an amazing place for lunch, dinner, and even desert!
google avatar

Jim T.

Yelp
A really enjoyable place. This time we tried two pretty simple pizzas: the aka Kid Pizza, basically cheese and red sauce, and a specialty pizza with arugula and a little lemon. Very simple, but, you know how some pizza after a couple of slices you feel you've had enough? We enjoyed these more and more with each bite. Our server--I think her name was Lindsey -- was very helpful and pleasant. PF has a lot of wines, vermouths and beers; we each had a nice glass of wine. Bright place, upbeat without being noisy. A couple of notes: Cary, NC, is not exactly a swinging town, so PF closes a bit earlier than you might expect. They don't seem to deliver on weekends. And these are gourmet pizzas; they taste great, so if you're looking to stuff yourself, maybe not the place.
google avatar

Ravi M.

Yelp
We have eaten from here maybe 5 times now. My kids like the ricotta & house bread and margarita pizza. My wife likes the mushroom pizza. But my favorite pizza, out of all pizza places available locally, is "the sassier italian". This thing is like crack, I have to consciously force myself to stop overeating because of how good it is. Please don't ever remove it from the menu, I would have barely survived the quarantines without it :D

Yelp
Yay for being open most of Saturday, so that we could have an early dinner (or late lunch)! This is in a small strip center on the way into downtown Cary. (where capital vacuum is). We almost drove by it thinking it was farther into downtown. Parking lot is not huge, but we scored a spot. There is a hostess stand and a limited number of tables, but there are also counter seats. The small space is well utilized (staff has lockers near the bathrooms, for instance). The star of the show is the wood pizza oven. Water is the trendy bottled no-ice version. Sigh. I like ice! Oh well, have a glass of the "daily" wine for $5 and not whine about it. Husband chose a Bruprint scotch ale and was only mildly disappointed that it was out of a can. He much prefers drafts. Love that they have vermouth options. Will have to try those next time. Hungry after working out, we went with the Cauliflower Caesar to start followed by the Amati (3-meat pizza: pepperoni, soppresetta and prosciutto) along with a Margherita with Calabrian Sausage. Cauliflower is so tangy and rich. Loved the char on it, and the rich sauce. Wouldn't have minded a little more of the zesty arugula that topped it, to cut the richness. Don't waste the charred leaves...they're as good as the rest of it! Pizza: I do believe Husband used the word "sublime" about the crust. It's delicate, but stands up to the toppings just enough. The char is what makes it, so those that think that's burned are just plain wrong. Note: one pizza would have been enough for both of us, but we were happy to take leftovers home, and are happily anticipating them. Dessert: Couldn't pass up the house made cannolis. They come in a pair, with a nice cherry on one end of each and a little chocolate on the other. Tasted like homemade cheese as well. A steal at only $3! Which leads me to saying that we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices! An appetizer, two drinks, two pizzas and dessert for $55 (before tip). Are you sure we're in Cary? :)
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
We split a salad and margherita pizza for dinner. The salad was $7 medium sized with nuts, Italian cheese, and mixed greens. There was lots of radicchio in the salad which made it a bit bitter but had a nice crunch and zest with the lemon vinaigrette, so overall good. The pizza was on special for $6 from 5 - 6 pm; unfortunately we arrived at 6:08 pm and it was $13. Not worth the full price. Crust was good, sauce is tangy, fresh mozzarella and basil were excellent but so lacking in quantity that we had mostly tomato sauced bread. This would have been more acceptable for $6 but definitely not a $13 pizza.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Not just great pizza, the entire menu is amazing. Excellent service. Highly recommend the bread and ricotta app
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing wood fired pizza, well definitely be back. The beet salad was served cold over yogurt which was the perfect starter to a hot pizza.
google avatar

Rob R.

Yelp
My wife and I have been coming here for several years ever since they opened. The owners and staff are super friendly and attentive, the ingredients and execution are always top notch, and there are specials that keep the menu fun and dynamic. In probably 30+ visits I have never had a bad experience here, and we always bring friends from out of town here. They love it too.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed my first "slice" of white pie !!!! It was amazing !! And the staff was so helpful and nice ! Definitely going back and will recommend this pizzeria!

Yelp
I'm always excited to try a new pizza place because I love artisan pizza. Walking into fausili, I was excited as I eyed the beautiful stone oven in the center of the open kitchen. We ordered two pizzas: the salumi and the breakfast special. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the pizzas. They were so thin that the crust couldnt handle the toppings and both pies suffered from an extremely soggy crust. Seriously, you go to pick up a slice and the thing just flops with gravity. No crispy chew, nothing. Just mushy soggy crust. The upside was that the flavors were pretty good and the service was fast. Sadly I don't think I'll be back for the pizza...
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
I'm always excited to try a new pizza place. There were plenty of good reviews for this place. I wasn't thrilled to drive all the way to Cary but I was hoping it was worth it. The service was good. I ordered a margherita pizza. It was okay but I prefer a crispy bottom opposed to a soggy bottom pizza. I tried a new cider which was delicious. Check out the pizza specials. I think we came here on a Tuesday when the pizzas were $10.
google avatar

Dave M.

Yelp
Great place for wood fired pizza. The tiramisu and cheesecake are great for dessert. To quote my wife "I've never had a bad meal here" The restaurant is small and casual. The service is friendly, and we've enjoyed everything we have tried. We usually get one pizza per person. My 6 year old eats about 3/4 of a Margherita Pizza by himself. He's an animal.
google avatar

Ron W.

Yelp
Yeah, I know. I'm reviewing a pizza place for my 900th Yelp review. But you know what? I love pizza! And Pizzeria Faulisi is doing a very good job with their neapolitan pies here. So in addition to Tre Forni, Pizzeria Toro and Pizzeria Mercato, you've now got a great choice in Cary, Pizzeria Faulisi. I like what they did with the space. It's sunny, open and bright, befitting a higher-end pizza joint and that one wood-fired oven cranks out a lot of pies. I've tried their salume, bianco e verde, margherita with sausage and plain ol margherita. Their dough is excellent, a mix of 00 and Boulted Bread flour. It's super tender and moist but with enough chew to work it's magic. Toppings are high-quality and used generously. And with the pies in the $11 to $15 range, pretty reasonable for what you get. And while the servers here are a bit young, they've done a good job on my two visits. So thanks so much for all the great pizza, Pizzeria Faulisi. Great job with your pies and I'm looking forward to visit #3 and hopefully an expansion of your menu...

Yelp
A major favorite of mine!!! Food is expertly crafted and everyone is soooo friendly. If you want to feel welcomed and like enjoying a taste you can't duplicate, you will be thrilled you came. Love it here!

Yelp
My family LOVES this place!! Walking in, the restaurant is pretty small but has a great family feel. The decor is definitely set up to make you feel nostalgic (lots of pictures of grandparents, etc). Very intimate setting. Hostess is always super nice and informed about how long the wait will be, and servers are knowledgeable about pizza/friendly! As for the pizza, WOW. My family lived in Italy and is Italian and LOVES the pizza here. The crust is very authentic - thin, crispy, and very good flavor. Our favorite pies are probably the Amat, the Margherita, and the Biano e Verde. I also love that they have a vegan option (Marinara has no cheese, and you can add whatever toppings you like!). We've never tried the desserts, but the salads are great for appetizers. We usually get 2-3 pies for 3 people and share them all and we always leave with leftovers. I'd say that each person can eat about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pizza? But obviously it's up to you how many to get. Price is very reasonable, especially considering how delicious these are!! Truly the only con is that the wait can be long, but really really worth it. They don't take reservations, but you can definitely be seated right away if you go early on the weekend or if you go during the week. Plus, the wait is worth it hahaha this pizza is downright delicious. Best Neapolitan pizza in the triangle!!

Yelp
Pizzeria Faulisi fell short of my expectations. Mom & I decided to check out the newest addition to downtown Cary recently. When we walked in to grab a table for two we were confused when the hostess told us the bar was the only available option (the only open tables were for parties of four). Now I do understand that this is a smaller space but the restaurant did not fill up the entire time that we were there. As far as beer goes, there is no draft beer system so you have your choice of a few cans/bottles. They also have wine and liquor. The menu is smaller, you have a few choices from the antipasta, pizza and dessert sections. The pizza can get pricey if you choose to add additional toppings. We ordered the Bianco e Verde and Marinara with Sausage. I normally do not complain but the crust on the Bianco e Verde was so soggy that it just dropped when you picked up a slice so they eventually brought me out a new one. The flavor of this pizza was just okay, it was definitely missing something. I was able to try a few slices of the Marinara and was not a fan of the sauce but the sausage had good flavor. When I asked for a box there was a hilarious message inside: Do you want a pizz-a this? I thought that it was clever. So far my least favorite wood fired pizza option. Next visit I would like to pick up a pizza and take it over to Bond Brothers but they really do not do to go orders (I think that they may do them if they are not busy).

Yelp
Really delicious, great lighting and vibe, best pizza we've had since we tried Bella Monica, photos speak for themselves

Yelp
This is our new favorite pizza place and that certainly says a lot! Amazing Neapolitan pizza, reminds me of the best NY places. We got the ricotta appetizer which was sumptuous and pared nice with the hot bread. I'm a purest and judge a places by their Margherita pizza and this did not disappoint. Simply the best. We also tried one of their special pizzas which was also tasty. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizzeria Faulisi, you are a dream! This is some of my favorite pizza in the area and you can't beat the location (right next to Bond Brothers and Sidebar). We did a pickup order during COVID and they had the cutest setup - check out the pic! Our favorite pizzas are the funghi and salumi, but you really can't go wrong. We can't wait to dine-in with you again soon!

Yelp
Delicious pizza! Highly recommend the Caesar cauliflower and gnocchi as well. I ordered a tequila drink and it was served in a cool carafe! Service was amazing.

Yelp
Best pizza in Cary! Amazing atmosphere, very clean, intimate, cute date spot or night out with friends, love the pineapple pizza!!

Yelp
Third time's a charm. On two separate Friday nights my daughter and I have tried to get a pizza to eat at Bond Brothers Brewery, and they've been sold out. It's that good! We finally changed our strategy and went on a Wednesday evening. It was reminder that the restaurants are plenty busy on the weekends, but they really need our weekday support. Now, onto the food. We started with the fire-roasted cauliflower. It was nicely charred with a smoky flavor. It had a drizzling of Caesar dressing and a few breadcrumbs. The baby greens salad was tossed with just a little lemon juice and olive oil. They threw in some thinly sliced radishes and Marcona almonds, as well as Parmesan and seeds. Very nice. The crowning glory of the meal was the Margherita pizza. It's a simple one with only three ingredients: tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella cheese, representing the three colors of the Italian flag. We added pepperoni that was a little spicy. Since it was wood-fired, the crust was thin, and the basil was so flavorsome. It all made for the perfect pie. We rounded out the meal with cannolis, two to an order. The shells were fresh and crunchy with a creamy filling. They were dusted with dark chocolate shavings. And that marinated cherry on the end - heavenly! We devoured every crumb of our feast, and licked our fingers. Delizioso!!

Yelp
Love this little gem in the heart of downtown Cary. It's just the kind of place that the area needed. Great atmosphere with intimate seating and a trendy interior. Menu is limited, but it has all the right things: salads, pasta, and pizza. Nice selection of beers and wines, and fun things like rose flights! Their pizza creations are not your typical pies, and the serving size is just right. The unique spin on the dough and gourmet toppings make pizza feel like a fancy treat. Friendly staff and attentive for the most part. The only disadvantage of coming here is that seats are limited, and they don't take reservations. I also wish they were open on Sundays, so we could take advantage of free time on the weekend for a bite to eat here.

Yelp
Was visiting from VA and I tried Nonna's Lasagna Pie and it was marvelous. I've been to France and tried pizzas of all sorts considering it's one of my favorite dishes to eat that's Italian. Truly recommend this place for anyone that wants to try authentic pizza and cuisines. Definitely see this becoming the best at some point. Continue with the hard work I can tell it's paying off.

Yelp
The pizza is thin crust and crispy. Both versions of the sauce (pizza and marinara) are tasty and the toppings are what you'd expect but they aren't used sparingly. Overall the taste is quite good but, as noted, the lack of adequate toppings was disappointing. The charred cauliflower Caesar salad is good. The Giardiniera was ok, not great. One of the better things I think they offer is a pretty decent and varied wine selection. There are some good finds in there and the pricing is often reasonable. They only do to-go pickup orders right now.

Yelp
My friends and I split two pizzas, Racchetta and Sweater Weather, which I thought were both really good, despite pizzas not being my favorite dish. The size of each pizza was pretty small though. We also got both of the desserts on their menu. We all liked the tiramisu better than the cannoli, but both were fantastic and just the right amount of sweet.

Yelp
Decided to try someplace new for dinner last night, and did a yelp search and decided to try here. Ambiance is nice, and they had a special on $10 pizzas. I decided to get the special pizza of that night: salmon, dill, and caviar. I was good until later that night I started getting really sick, and threw up the pizza. I had a couple slices left for bunch today, so decided to eat it and thought maybe it was just my stomach from last night that didn't agree. I ended up feeling sick again, and threw up. Needless to say, the rest of the pizza got thrown out, and I realized why that pizza was on special last night. Will not be eating here again.

Yelp
Excellent, creative Neapolitan pizza alternative in downtown Cary, NC. Super-quick service with thin crust pies coming out of their 800 degree in a couple minutes. Ricotta gnocchi melts in your mouth and is a tasty appetizer. Blanco e Verdi pizza was heavy in the arugula, cheese was sufficient but the pie lacked a little saltiness --perhaps the arugula wasn't quite dried after washing? The soppressata sausage on another pizza was one of the tastiest, slightly spicy meats I've had in a pizza, but be prepared for some grease. Desserts are 2 options: 2 mini cannolis and a large tiramisu in a cup. Both yummy but the tiramisu gets the prize. My only suggestion would be to offer olive oil for the bread and the pizzas. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Big fan of napoleon pizza and this place is solid. Our first pizza we got here we took it away, ten times better to eat it in house. We love the small space and family feel. The staff are very attentive. I love gnocchi and I was a little worried when I ordered it because you never know. Theirs is a starter, but I got it as my meal. Oh, my god! Best gnocchi I have ever had. They say they should be like little pillows and these were so soft and tender. The sauce was amazing with fresh basil and broiled cheese on top. We tried the cannoli and personally not wowed. I like mine sweeter. No chocolate chips, a miss for me.

Yelp
Went here on a Friday night around 8pm and it was quite busy. Staff is very friendly and since it was our first time they made recommendations and explained the menu. We had cauliflower topped with bread crumbs with Caesar dressing and it was delicious. Must try! They say their pizzas are personal sizes but we shared one pizza with an appetizer and it was enough for us. Their pizzas are thin crust but very filling to me personally. You can make your own pizza or choose from the menu. They do have nice selection of wine/beer. Went back here for the second time this past weekend. We tried the gnocchi and Racchetta. Gnocchi was good but I had the best in Montréal and couldn't come near that but you must try Racchetta. The handle of pizza is filled with cheese and the dough is best one I had in this area.

Yelp
Did a pickup order during COVID-19, ordered the Bianco e Verde. AWESOME taste. I will say that this is definitely a personal pizza size. Maybe I was extra hungry, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I ate that WHOLE pizza pictured by myself. In record timing. Minus the crust (had been having some issues with my teeth, so I decided to pass on anything too hard, but it looked just as delicious). With that being said, I would say that the price is a little steep to be left still somewhat hungry ($14). Maybe it's because it was a white pizza? Maybe because I didn't eat the crust? Maybe I was just THAT hungry? Not sure. I will say that the pizza was very thin. Either way, I'll definitely be visiting again for another go.
