"The Granada hotel in Midtown has an outdoor patio with ivory umbrellas underneath a canopy of lights. The whole scene feels like an old European courtyard and automatically makes us want to sip a few cocktails. The Southern-meets-Spanish tapas menu is mostly skippable, but the blue cornbread and these deviled eggs are must-haves. You get four per order here. The thin wisps of chicken chicharrón gives these a nice crunch, and the tangy pickled okra on top brings some acidity to balance the heat from the espelette pepper flakes." - juli horsford

"The cornbread is the best thing (by far) on the menu of this hotel restaurant in Midtown. But you'll need to keep an open mind. They're made with blue corn, look like brownies, but lean savory.
