Celebrated my daughter's birthday at Gunther & Co after reading the phenomenal reviews. Had oyster samplers, Brussels sprouts app, Yuzu vodka cocktail, scallops entree, and the table sampled the array of amazing desserts. Service was fantastic, and everything we tasted was sensational. The cocktail was light and lovely, the pickle brine oysters were my personal favorite, the Thai-inspired brussels - 🤌👌, the scallops melted in my mouth, and just whooooooaaaa on those DESSERTS... Well done, G&Co! It was an experience to remember!

The eclectic take on seafood and the variety of offerings on this menu are like no other. From the raw bar to the full menu this is the place for everyone just don't tell the tourist. The atmosphere matches the menu, plenty of variety in the vibe you want, fun Happy Hour crowd with music or romantic dinner. The also have a lifted room for large private gatherings.

There is a bar outside also; they have a happy hour. The food and drinks were great. There is parking near by at no cost. I will return to Gunthers!

The pork chop was out of this world!! Lick my plate clean level sauce work. A member of our party is gluten free so for a 5$ upcharge we could add crudité to the hummus plate (and the flatbread for the rest of us was magnificent). I was expecting a few carrots and celery but the plate of raw veggies was a beautiful variety. That was a lovely option for all of us! The server was very knowledgeable about the GF and cross contamination aspects of the menu so we appreciated that greatly. Also the Basque cheesecake was so yummy!! I don't live in this part of the country but this was "drive all night back to Baltimore" good.

I decided to try a restaurant in Canton. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I liked the concept of the brick walls. I started with a Baileys on the rocks, and as you can see from the photos, I had a glass full of ice with only a shot of Baileys. Yes, I sat at the bar. Next, I tried the passion fruit lemonade. This restaurant offers a limited menu for brunch, so I would recommend coming for dinner; however, on the day I went, I was told they were closing early for a private event. After studying the menu for a while, I selected the Caesar salad. It doesn't have the usual Caesar taste. The dressing was green and had a tart taste to it. Also, they used baby spinach, and they added pickled onions. Next, I ordered a hamburger well done, but it wasn't, and my fries were overcooked. I enjoyed the frozen lemon meringue tart. Also, I tried the biscuits, and they were hard and cold.

Definitely 5 stars! The ambience is perfect. What was previous a brewery has become a very nice restaurant, with industrial and modern architecture. The food was spectacular. We had octopus as an appetizer and for mainly dish, duct and short rib with brown risoto. We went there for my husband’s birthday celebration. When making my reservation, I kindly asked if they could provide a desert with candles and “happy birthday” on it, and they did it as a surprise. Highly recommend!

I came here with a group (6) for dinner on a Sunday. All of us enjoyed our food - rolls, duck breast (pictured), roasted chicken, fried chicken, tagliatelle, eggplant, chicken sandwich, sherbet and sorbet, cheesecake, and key lime tart (pictured). The service was impeccable, the music playlist was relaxing, and restaurant was a beautiful space. I will definitely be back.

Dinner at Gunther’s was amazing. We shared a few appetizers and each did not disappoint. The space was a revitalized industrial space (brewery) with beautiful brick and metal accents throughout. The area was well-lit and open. Bathrooms were clean. Our server was attentive and descriptive when talking through different dishes. We started with the baked oysters, grilled octopus, crispy pork belly, and Brussels sprouts. I had the duck breast for the entree and it was perfectly cooked, soft, and flavorful. For dessert we shared the pumpkin custard and some spice bread. Cocktails were balanced, just had the old fashioned like drink myself. Overall, definitely recommend a visit and will come back in the future!

We had a fabulous meal here for our first visit ever. Emma was our waitress and was absolutely fabulous. Her recommendations were spot on and she was the perfect level of attentiveness. We had the beef tartare appetizer and the duck spring rolls to start. Both very good. Then my daughter had the kids pizza which was HUGE and I had the miso cod. The coconut sauce it was in was fabulous. For dessert we had the peaches and cream and flourless chocolate cake. Both really good but the Peaches was my favorite. All around a great meal!

We came here for a weekday holiday dinner. It was crowded but that's to be expected this time of year. It was nicely decorated for the holidays. Very open atmosphere and layout. We got a Caesar salad, halibut ceviche, scallops, and fries. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. The sauce from the scallops was delicious we dipped the fries in it. Next time I would ask for a side of the sauce for the fries it was so good together. We loved the seasonal menu! We only got wine but the choices were abundant. We will be back for sure to give the brunch a try.

Super impressed with Gunther & Co! Parking can be great if you luck up and find a spot literally in front of the door like I did. Whew! Service was truly top notch! The place was bigger than I expected and felt elevated. The Parker rolls were delicious, maybe not $12 delicious, but delicious nonetheless. I got the butternut squash farrotto with shrimp, and it was full of flavor. Loved how all the ingredients complemented each other perfectly. I basically licked the plate. We celebrated birthdays, and they brought out a complimentary dessert for each of us that likely was just for birthdays (couldn't locate on menu). Some sort of brownie-ish bottom, ice cream middle, and meringue-ish top. It was deceptively good!! As an aside, we stayed late to catch up and talk (ensuring the restaurant wasn't full and folks weren't waiting for our table; it was end of evening). We never felt rushed at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner and I would definitely return!

Amazing Father's Day dinner. The restaurant is easy to locate, right off of Boston St with plenty of free parking. Although we arrived slightly before our reservation we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and provided a seat at the bar. The bartender was very helpful in providing information about specialty drinks. The restaurant is very nice. We were seated upstairs and had slight views of the kitchen and bar atrium. Our waitress was very kind and had helpful suggestions regarding the menu. I had chicken, ribs, Mac and cheese and collard greens (it was Father's Day... Lol), we shared charbroiled oysters, my wife had chicken Alfredo, and both kids had steak and fries. I had a drink called the "tiger style" which is a mix of bourbon, Cognac bitters and other magic. It was amazing. The food was really good and we all enjoyed our meals. We'll definitely be back.

Had reservations for a Friday night and enjoyed the whole experience. Parking was easy, the service was great, bathrooms were clean, and the food was tasty! We arrived early so we had some drinks at the bar and watched oysters being shucked. One of the drinks, I forget the name, had a cute presentation. The bathroom, which is at the front of the restaurant, is not separated by gender. First time I've seen that in the U.S. and it works! When our table was ready, they seated us on the back side of the restaurant where there are upstairs and downstairs sections. The restaurant is bigger than it seemed at first. Our waiter provided excellent service and shared some of his food favorites. We got the Thai Hot Pot and Steak Frites. The hot pot had a great spice level, was HOT (temperature), and was filled with seafood! The steak frites was as expected, and seasoned well. Overall, we had a great experience and would defitely try this restaurant again. Next time I would ask to be seated away from the doors because there was a cold breeze every time the door was opened.

This spot is so inconspicuous! I love the open space and sunlight that showers the dining room. This was my second visit to catch up with a friend over brunch. The one thing I will say is I wish the menu had more to offer. It's a bit limited. This visit I had the eggs Benedict, cheesy grits (again), and a side of sausage. Everything was good, but nothing really stood out. Well, the cheesy grits were very cheesy, which I like. My bestie had their french toast with a side of bacon. That bacon was cooked to perfection! What I will brag on is their craft cocktails! I remembered that from my last visit. This time we both ordered the Gangsta's PEAR-adise! It had Rittenhouse Rye, St. George Spiced Pear Liquer, Montenegro Amaro Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters, and Chai Bitters. It was everything it sounds like! Next time I'll sit at the bar and have oysters & cocktails!

Ordered the green garbanzo hummus & flatbread, Berkshire pork chop, homemade pasta, salted caramel panna cotta, and pumpkin spice tahini cake. Everything tasted phenomenal! The pasta sauce hit the spot and pork chop was so juicy & tender. However, the hummus did not live to my expectations and lacked quite a bit of flavor. The garlic on the flatbread overpowered the hummus significantly. I also thought the brussel sprouts on the pork chop dish were too salty. Otherwise, wonderful experience and for sure return! Great service and atmosphere.

My fiancé and I had dinner at Gunther & Co for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it! Service was prompt and attentive. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with a very industrial feel. We both had bourbon cocktails, both of which were excellent! The Rye'd or Die may be one of my new favorite drinks downtown! We started with the Parker House Rolls and Charcuterie Board. The board was phenomenal and a great amount of food for the price. The rolls were a bit pricey at $12 for 4. Tasty, but probably not worth $3 a piece. I had the Thai Hot Pot which was lovely and quite spicy! My fiancé really enjoyed his Steak Frites. We will definitely be back soon!

She was friendly, genuine, and passionate. Maria went above and beyond, providing detailed descriptions of the dishes and helping us make choices. Her recommendation of the pork chop was spot-on; it was delicious and perfectly prepared, accompanied by flavorful sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. The rest of the staff was also polite and attentive, ensuring we were always taken care of, even when Maria was busy. My friends enjoyed their meals as well, although one thought their pasta dish was a bit small. This is a really nice restaurant! The ambiance is very pretty. They have cute decorations and vibes here. We came on a Sunday for brunch and were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got a mimosa, a couple of appetizers, and the brunch flatbread (it was sweet and spicy). The server said her favorite brunch item was the flatbread so that's what I ordered and I didn't regret it. Although this restaurant is pretty expensive, it is tasty with great flavors and decent serving size. Their mimosas were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant if you are willing to spend a bit more, very yummy!!!

My second time here and it did not disappoint. I had the potstickers which where AMAZING and I highly recommend, my hamburger was over cooked but that was probably my fault. The only negative feedback I would have is I ordered my burger plain and they put pickles on the plate and I hate pickles and the juice getting on the bun. My friend got the flat bread which came as a giant pizza and she loved it. The fries are worth ordering for sure! So flavorful.

Looking for a brunch spot and we had narrowed it down to two places. Then Gunther popped up so I decided to check the menu. We haven't been since my last review and the menu looked appetizing so we rerouted to Gunther. We made a reservation but there were only seats in the bar area which was fine. We ended up sitting at the bar so we could see the game. For drinks, we had the Pear-tect Your Neck, and the Amalfi spritz, both mocktails. Both were delicious; however, my fave was the Amalfi spritz. We had the oyster sampler, where you get two of each. Yummy as always. We also tried 4 dishes for brunch: Pineapple and coconut French toast - 9/10 The only thing that could've made this better was a little bit of maple syrup along with the coconut lime curd. But if you don't like all the sugar from the syrup, the curd is sufficient. The roasted pineapple really set it off. I would definitely get this again. Shrimp, andouille, sausage, and Virginia grits - 9/10 I am not a shrimp and grits girl, but the bartender said that the tomato sauce made the dish special. He was right. I would definitely get this again. Smoked salmon powerhouse - 8/10 This was good. The only thing I did not like were the fried Capers. I love Capers and the razzle dazzle they add to smoked salmon, but the taste was lost with them being fried. The Gunther salad was a nice and tasty addition. I would definitely get this again, but I would ask them not to fry the Capers. Crispy duck leg confit - 8/10 I am not a fan of poached eggs, but it actually worked with this dish. The duck was yummy and super tender. Minimal crisp. The cherry Demi gave it a nice flavor. The potatoes were pretty bland even with the sauce. This was my least favorite dish, but still good. Not sure if I would get this one again. The portions here are such that you might not be full off one dish, depending on how much you eat and how hungry you are. After 5 dishes we were not necessarily full, but we were definitely satisfied, and we got a great sampling of the menu. Their menu is very well priced, and even with a generous tip we did not spend $200. That's my kind of brunch! Can't wait to go back and try some more items on the menu.

Second time at the restaurant for brunch, and was again amazed by the beautiful space with delicious food. Parking is conveniently located across the restaurant for free! We tried the Benedict, the skillet, and the shrimp and grits and they are all delicious. Our lunch was all delicious, can't go wrong. The burger looked delicious as well. The first time we also got a dessert, Frozen lemon meringue "tart", and that was one of the best desserts I've had. Will try the dinner menu sometime!

Came in with a group of 10 for a work lunch. I loved the interior of the restaurant, it was classic Baltimore red bricks with greenery on the wall. The patio was also very cute, but didn't have seating for our party size. For apps, we had the hummus and the burrata, which were good and large enough for all of us to get to try. For my entree, I had the Squash Flatbread and added prosciutto. I probably wouldn't get it again, there wasn't much flavor to it and the bread was pretty charred. The real highlight of the meal was dessert. The lemon tart was beautifully plated and just as delicious as it looked. The vanilla chiffon cake was also incredible

I also highly recommend the beef tartare, which is simply amazing. It's seasoned just right, and the presentation is beautiful. One dish that may not be for everyone is the tahini Caesar salad. While it's tasty in its own right, it doesn't quite taste like a traditional Caesar salad, so if you're looking for something more classic, I would recommend skipping this dish. Another highlight is the halibut crudo. It's light and refreshing, and the fish is incredibly fresh. The flavors are well balanced, and it's a perfect dish to enjoy during the warmer months. Overall, Gunther and Co. has a casual upscale vibe that makes for a great dining experience. The food is of a high quality, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is impeccable. Gunther & Co is a charming spot that has a modern rustic vibe going on. It's much bigger than it appears from the front and has a very nice outdoor area in the rear. I visited this venue today for a baby shower. We had a prefix menu, including orange juice and cake. We were allowed to set up some decorations at our table before the shower actually started. All the staff was SUPER nice and tended to us like beloved children. This place was impeccably clean and it was a lovely restaurant to have this event. The drawback? The food. I was pretty underwhelmed. The sweet breads before the entrees were just ok. I ordered the French toast and thankfully I ordered a side of bacon because the entree was measly. The toast was too toasted and I had to cut off the edges. And finally, the cake was very...bland, and a little on the dry side. I'd like to return here and order from the regular menu, the prefix was not it for me. Otherwise, an enjoyable time!

Friends have told me about how great this place was and I was excited to finally try it. I came here on Saturday for dinner on a date. We had a 6:30pm reservation and were sat immediately by the window. I appreciate how there's good ample space between the tables so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of the other diners. We started off with drinks, a Figure Eight for me and a Waka-Waka-Oaxaca for him. Mine was the perfect fruitiness and I liked the smell of the charred pineapple in it giving it a smoky smell but not tasting smoky. We ordered a dozen of their 6 different raw oysters so we could try each one. There was one I wasn't a fan of but otherwise, they were delicious. For my main dish, I got their Pan Roasted Halibut and my date got the Seared War Shore Scallops. I tried a bite of his scallops and it was great. Now I loved my halibut. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the smoked paprika gave a very light kick. The halibut was nicely crusted and cooked perfectly - simply delicious. We also ended up getting dessert (yay) and shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. It was nothing like the usual Panna Cotta I've had at other places. This was whipped up and decorated with some berries and flower petals. The whole dessert was so light and perfect to end our meal with. We also had our dessert accompanied with W. J. Graham's 20 year Tawny ports which was really good. I've recently tried ports at a couple other places and I really like how satisfying of a dessert drink they are. A great first time dining experience here. The place is lovely and rustic looking yet also still modern. Service was good and food and drinks were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here to try their other dishes.

Location and setting is awesome. Very nicely reclaimed historic warehouse -- they seem to have many of these in Baltimore. It's worth checking out for the vibe. My problem was that the food is uninspired. It was all fine, just rather blah. Very "mid" as my daughter says, meaning average. It doesn't live up to the setting, seems corporate, and needs a heavy dose of love. The service matched the food. I got the sense our server didn't really care about us or our experience. Example: forgot to bring the almond milk we discussed with the coffee. Didn't check on us when entrees arrived. Slow moving. Collecting his paycheck and going through the motions. Service makes the difference, and it too was mid. Last thing: maybe it's just me, but I hate restaurants where they make you scan the QR code to get the menu. This relic of Covid needs to go. The problem is you sit down in this great space, and immediately everyone's on their phones. C'mon. I got off my couch and all the way into your restaurant to connect with people. Give me a paper menu so we can enjoy the ritual in relationship together; not geeking out on our phones. Overall, I enjoyed Gunther and think it's worth checking out for the wonderful ambience. But there are way better places to eat in foody town Baltimore.

With increasing diet restrictions, this restaurant was extremely accommodating and everyone attending got to indulge in so many things from faux cocktails to dairy-free options. All of the food was freshly made. Ambience is top tier with a lovely fresh greenery wall that has a historic component to this beautifully restored brewery!

Gunther is, by far, our absolute favorite restaurant in MD. We recently relocated to Tampa, and make it a point to ALWAYS visit Gunther when we are in town. We have never had a bad, or even a mediocre meal here, and the service consistently exceeds exceptional. Their food is always elevated, palate-pleasing and presentation is always on point. You can tell that all the staff love their jobs because it is the same staff every time we visit, and we have been coming for years. We visited on 5/30 and love dining at the Chef's kitchen counter. Kim was our server and took wonderful care of us. My favorite is the beef carpaccio and the autumn squash entree. Chef Jerry keeps a well-oiled machine and he, as well as the other chefs/kitchen staff always thanks his customers for dining in. During this visit, Chef Jerry sent us over a complimentary dessert of choice which was totally unexpected but so much appreciated. They truly love their customers. We only wished we could pick Gunther & Co up and all the staff and move them to FL with us! Until our next visit, thank you Gunther!

Awesome place, very welcoming. We had five o'clock reservations and we were seated at five. 4 out of our six party was seated. The other two came maybe ten and fifteen minutes later. The waiter did a good job. Our drink order was taken. I ordered the Kevin Smash. It had a nice taste to it. For my food I chose the Summer salad which had watermelon in it. I was a little disappointed because I expected a little more watermelon. Other than that everything was perfect. We didn't find out until leaving that they had outside seating in the back along with an outside bar. Next time I will sit outside just for the ambience.

I have to thank Gunther & Co for being so accommodating and seating our large party of 10 on such short notice. Not only is the restaurant in an incredible area with very convenient parking, but the interior is just as beautiful and warm and special. We ordered an array of drinks and brunch foods and desserts and the prices were very reasonable. Our food came out in a timely manner and our waiter was kind and patient and answered all of our questions. I do have some minor feedback but overall it was a 5 star experience. I would say that the Oyster Tacos are considered an entree but the portion is more appetizer sized, the hash browns were slightly over crispy in areas, and we were not able to make any adjustments to the way the eggs were cooked (i.e. poached vs scrambled). The oysters were fresh and tasty, the biscuit was SUBLIME, and everyone was highly content with their meals. Other than the biscuit, my favorite thing was the Pavlova. It was unforgettable!! I hope to come back for dinner the next time I'm in town.

Organized a work baby shower for a group of 18. Theresa, the event organizer, was easy to work with. Kim, our waitress, was wonderfully pleasant and even helped us with our baby trivia answers. Food was delicious. Personalized cake was beautiful, we brought toppers. Alcoholic beverages were tasty. Venue (on the mezzanine) was a beautiful space. Ample free parking. For a mod-size group, the cost was reasonable, no surprise fees. Would hold other events here in future. Oh, and personalize printed menu.

A great spot for dinner--but don't miss out on the bar for a drink! It makes for a perfect spot for a date night, or just a casual hang out. This is a pretty bold statement, but might even be my favorite spot for an espresso martini in the city! Also, the beet drink is a very unique, earthy taste--very good. Only negative is the bar can get crowded, so it can be hard to find a spot.

Came here to celebrate valentines day. They were running a special for coursed meals so ofc we had to dive in. We ordered many things we wouldn't have at other restaurants nearby including Fois Gras, rabbit, and their immaculate desserts. The tables around us raved about the grilled octopus too! All in all the night was great, Marcus took great care of us insuring every course was to our liking and his spirit knowledge was superb. Great recommendations! Gunther and Co is a favorite of mine! Always delicious. We got the oysters, the Steamed Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Korean Fried Pork Belly, the Roasted Chicken, and the Frozen Coffee Tart for dessert. Everything was excellent. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the mole sauce was really dimensional. It paired very well with the squash and the pepitas and was a great cozy fall meal. The dumplings were good although the casing was more of a pasta in consistency, so I may have preferred a thinner wrapper. The pork belly was incredible, perfectly crispy and lighted well with the cucumbers. Coffee tart was essentially coffee ice cream over a thin layer of cake, topped off with meringue. This was so delicious!

Took my sweetie here for a date night for our anniversary. This is one of the one restaurants I found in Baltimore with a tasting menu so I was excited when they called me back and asked our dietary preferences, taste profiles, etc. We got seated at the tabletop by the open kitchen so got to see the chefs up close and personal preparing our meals and other patrons. Loved how the chefs came over and told us details about each dish. Also had amazing service from Marcus who was very attentive along with the rest of the staff. Lovely ambiance, clean bathrooms, generous portions, and delicious food and drinks. Will be back!

I came here on a Friday night with some friends. It is pretty busy so definitely recommend making reservations earlier in the week if you know you are coming on the weekend. First off I appreciate their use of a virtual menu, with most people using smartphones it cuts down on waste and is more hygienic. They don't have a happy hour anymore so we ordered off their dinner menu. They have a great variety in their drink menu to satisfy those who like smoky whiskey to others who might like fruity elderberry cocktails. In terms of appetizers we tried both their charred octopus and oven roasted oysters. Both were done really well; however, the portion of octopus was small. In terms of mains I had the scallops which were ok, they were generous with 4 scallops but I wish they were seared a bit more and the lentils were crunchy? Prices were also pretty expensive with most appetizers ~$20 and main courses running $30-40. Service was great but overall the price point was closer to fine dining and I expected a bit more from the food. Overall I enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the place but would probably only come for a special occasion in the future due to the price.

Came here for a group birthday dinner outing on Friday, 09/30/2022. We had a 7:45 reservation but everyone wasn't present by that time. However within about 15 minutes the 3 people present were seated at a table for 6. Sean was our waiter and although he was busy he was very friendly and had good suggestions. The Rose of Malthea was a mocktail and it was refreshing but not sweet enough for me. We had a variety of things at the table. The creamy corn bisque was very good but the portions were small. The oven roasted oysters were great and so was the Caesar salad with shrimp. The decor and ambiance was warm and colorful and really added to the good mood of our group. I'll be back for brunch like Sean suggested!

I am very impressed by Gunther & Co. I saw a TikTok video and knew I had to stop by for brunch. First things first, make a reservation. They offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday, spots fill up fast. I booked my reservation about a week in advance. When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by atmosphere. A blend of rustic and romantic. I loved the view of the open kitchen and the aroma from the wood fire grill. This is a great place to go on a date, hangout with friends or celebrate an anniversary. The food is outstanding and very fresh. The lemon ricotta doughnuts melted in my mouth. The buttermilk biscuit was baked to perfection and the oyster tacos were impeccable. The plating and the presentation of the food and drinks were a 10 out of 10. The service was top notch. The staff really understood the meaning of team work. I will definitely be visiting again.

I come here almost weekly and always leave impressed. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. The entrees and appetizers are great, I usually skip dessert as I've been disappointed a few times. Overall I recommend coming here if you want great food and good service.

Had a beautiful dining experience at Gunther & Co. Beautiful atmosphere as we walked through the restaurant to the outdoor seating on a cool night. Waitress was very attentive as were other servers who delivered the food. Started with the Oven Roasted Ousters which were fresh tasting and delicious. Entree of the Scallops dinner, featuring firm, seared scallops, black couscous and bacon piece on top. Yum! Ended the night with the Fall Spice Cake, which made me want to lick my plate. Delicious! My friends enjoyed all of their dishes as well! Atmosphere, wait staff, food....the overall experience was worth the five stars!!

Everything about Gunther and Co. was solid. There's ample parking in front of the restaurant which I appreciate. The staff is exceedingly warm and inviting (with a special shout out to my waiter, Kim). The appetizer was pork and shrimp dumplings. The filling was well seasoned but the highlight was the dough which tasted freshly made. For dinner, I tried their burger cooked medium and their Thai curry inspired seafood bowl. The curry was surprisingly good for a non-Thai restaurant. The burger was disappointingly bland and dry. The highlight was their oysters. They've got a variety for every taste and they were very fresh. I would come back.

Went to Gunther & Co for a work lunch and it was great! They do their lunch menu on Thursday and Friday, and if you have a large party be sure to call to make a reservation. Although when we went on a Friday around 1, it wasn't very busy. We started off with the burrata which tasted very fresh and delicious, and the hummus and pita which was super yummy and fun because the chickpeas in the hummus are green. For my entree I got the chicken sandwich which was great! The piece of chicken was very large and very juicy and the fries were just the way I like them. The real standouts were the desserts though. We got the vanilla cake which seems super simple but it was served with a delicious strawberry compote, fresh cream with pistachios, and mint ice cream. The combination of flavors was amazing. And then the frozen lemon meringue tart. My oh my that is such a good dessert. Perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. Amazing! Highly recommend

Came for Saturday brunch with 14 people on a reservation. Handling the reservation was so easy with Amanda and she really is such a great person to work with. She called back twice on the day before to make sure we got the appropriate seating. Once at the restaurant we were seated promptly and quickly attended to. We were able to order with no problems. Our server was very quick and efficient and she gave us separate bills. Safe to say the service was fantastic but better than the food. Most dishes we tried were a bit under seasoned. All the food was fine but not as amazing as we were expecting.

4.5 stars. Gunther is a consistently great restaurant. Note they do not do any substitutions, however they do omissions. I'm gluten free, so that limits the menu. I never mind because what I can eat is great. Another part of their consistency is their service and atmosphere. The servers are knowledgeable and kind. They offer a full array of after dinner beverages and can you pair drinks with your order.

Yes! 10/10 experience. From service, to food, drinks, and desserts. Very pleased and excited for another trip back. We had an 8:15 reservation. Got there at 7:55 and seated immediately. Awesome! Had great seats near the kitchen. It was just the two of us, so we weren't too picky. Service was perfect. From being seated, to wine pouring, the plating on the table, to our final interactions. We are beyond pleased with our service experience. Thank you! The main purpose of the evening was, of course, the food. This was also a phenomenal experience. It was just husband and I for dinner tonight. We ordered a bottle of French red wine, delicious. Husband ordered the duck, which he said was some of the best he's had. The sauce was phenomenal. I had the steak frites, which were prepared perfectly. Desert was the coffee tart. Shared together, it was an amazing end to the night! Cory, our server, gets a shout out. He was great and super attentive to us during our visit. Thank you for a great first visit. We will absolutely be back for more and some other special occasions with family and friends.

I've visited Gunther & Co for brunch as well as dinner. Our first experience was on Easter for brunch where there was a prix fixe menu that included an appetizer and entrée. For our first plate, we had the crispy pork belly and lobster bisque. For our entrees, we went with the seafood gumbo and the leg of lamb. During the first visit, we were sat in the front dining room with the bar. When we went back for dinner at a later date, we were shown an entirely different area that we didn't even know existed. This restaurant is huge and you can literally have a different experience each time you go. During our second visit, they had their normal menu. For the appetizer, we ordered the wood oven roasted oysters...they were incredible. We went with the Thai hot pot and the bone in porkchop for our entrée. As you can tell from the pictures, they did not disappoint. I really can't say enough about the food, drinks, service and ambiance. They definitely checked all of my boxes and I can't wait to go back.
