Bartenders cheekily ask you to name a color and an adjective—red and fruity, orange and funky, etc.—as you sample a few bottles before committing. And that’s really it. Walk past the weird hype beast art in the lobby to an elevator that’ll carry you to a lush, fluorescent-red patio with skyline views. Bartenders, who all seem to have French or British accents, will cheekily ask you to name a color and an adjective—red and fruity, orange and funky, etc. They’ll pour little samples before you commit to a glass or bottle, which is the only ounce of thought this simple bar demands (that, and whether you want some charcuterie or oysters).
