Excellent service and splendid food. I ordered the ceviche & salchipapa as appetizers and the Oliva de Pulpo as my main. The octopus was fantastic! The sauce was some of the best I've ever had on the dish. When I'm back in the Seattle area, I will definitely be back

Delicious. Ceviche was tangy and refreshing, grilled octopus was perfectly savory with a nice creamy sauce. Happened upon it bc we were late to the ferry and had an hour to spare before it left. 6 minute walk from the Pier. Recommend highly!

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Dinner with group of friends! It was the first time for the most of us to have Peruvian cuisine and looks like we’re going to be back for more! Loved that all ingredients are well curated and authentic, food is not just good but also has a story that well represents their beautiful culture! Owner is very friendly and was very generous to share his culture and stories from home. Truly a wonderful experience!

The food is delicious; if you've never tried it, you won't be disappointed. And the chef and the waitress are very attentive. Clean, tasty, and friendly.

Everything is incredibly flavorful. I had the ceviche, nigiri, a sushi roll, and lamb stew with a pisco sour. The fusion of cuisine with Peruvian taste is excellent. Atmosphere is lovely and staff are warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

We went in with a reservation on Mother's Day for dinner at 5:30. The place was kind of 80-90% full within 30 minutes of our arrival. The items we ordered were Lomo a lo pobre - was good and would recommend Seco de cordero - the beans was salty for our taste, but when eaten with the meat, it didn't bother much. Lomo saltado - was good, not much different from the lomo a lo pobre Fried plantains - was good Alfajores - too sweet for my taste (don't have a sweet tooth) Didn't drink that day and hence no comments on that. The service was good and friendly. Being mother's day, all mothers were greeted with a rose. very thoughtful of the staff/owner. Being Sunday evening, I found street parking in front of the restaurant/very close by. Not sure about busy days. One of the reviewers had mentioned about high pricing and I would agree. A bill of $140+tips is a little too high is what I felt (I don't have any experience of running a restaurant, so will not comment more). Last but not least, there is a 3% charge on credit card payments!

The restaurant has a great location in Pioneer Square. Parking can be challenging depending of the time of the day. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean. We ordered Lomo a lo pobre, ceviche mixto, and a causa de pollo. Everything tasted good. My only complaint would be that the menu is lacking more variaty, Peru has a lot more classic traditional dishes that are not in the menu and was a bit of a let down to be honest. Otherwise it is a great place to try great tasty food. Perfect for a date night.

Really tasty food and great service. Had a small alteration to one of our plates, so Imelda came out to check in with us. Food was well-portioned and beautifully plated. I ate the every part of the dish. We did spend more than anticipated, but we also could've done without the extra side of fries I ordered. Wish there was also a better place I couldve put my personal belongings- my bag wasnt able to hang off the chair very well. Aside from that though- great experience! Planning on coming back with family.

Stopped in on a whim for an evening bite and were so impressed by both the food and service. We ordered lomo a la pobre and it was SO good. Our server was wonderful as well. Can't wait to go back!

After a sake tasting at nearby Sake Nomi on a Saturday evening (see review), my wife and I had no idea Señor Carbon would be the perfect next step. A review of the menu immediately reminded me of Jose Andres' "China Chicano" restaurant in DC, which is one of our favorite restaurants there (I grew up in DC and visit 2-3x per year). We had the ceviche, the crispy mashed potatoes, and the yucca/plantain dish. All were excellent and paired well with the bottle of sake we split. Our service was equally excellent.

We visited for lunch during this year's Seattle Restaurant Week. There was only one other table while we visited. We each chose a $35 menu: I wanted to try the duck, but was told they didn't have it. But they were nice enough to sub the lomo saltado (the steak was tender and had good wok flavor). We also tried ceviche + Causa Crocante Nikkei (fried mashed potato cake topped with tuna tartare, one of my favorites of the meal). Overall, food is interesting but definitely on the pricey side. A good place to grab some drinks after work, or hang out with friends when you want to try some unique Peruvian Japanese fusion dishes.

Food- delicious, fresh, felt authentic. Variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Ambiance- causal. A little dark, and has touches of Peru! Service- very nice. They are nearing their 3 yr anniversary. Value- very good! $60 for 2 people and I am full. Location: on corner near diamond parking. Street parking available too. Recommend: YES!! Supporting small business too.

Get to this restaurant in Pioneer Square and try some Peruvian cuisine. It may not be as common as a cuisine to find, but it's similar to Mexican in a few ways as far as flavor. Señor Carbón is pretty good as far as the prices and quality. Has authenticity. The food has few things for vegans, but there's some at least. Calm but festive atmosphere is a way to describe it. It's got plenty of room for big groups and parties. There's also plenty who go who just want to eat and talk. Has a pretty basic drink menu. There's not a whole lot crazy about this. It's about $12 for a cocktail. The Cuba Libre is a classic, with Coke, lime, and rum. It's about $12 for appetizers. The entrees have limited choices for vegetarians. Quite a few meaty things like chicken and seafood. We ended up getting the Yuca Con Tartara. Basically thick cut French fries. These come with an aioli, but I used ketchup for mine. Has good things if you like Peruvian cuisine. It's closed Mondays. This is located on 1st Avenue at Cherry Street.

Food is delicious though slightly over salted and prices are on the high side. Potato croquette appetizer and pulpo octopus main were standouts. Service is decent as well. We came for an early dinner so the restaurant was still pretty empty and quiet but I can see it being a lot louder and livelier when busy.

Would rate a 3.5 but giving 4 stars as hoping it was an off night. Was there with a group of 7 at 4:00 on a Saturday. There was only one other small table when we arrived. We had issues with several aspects of service-getting drinks, getting order taken, being checked on during service and getting the bill. They never were busy until right before we left. All the food was good and fresh. We had a mix of all of the menu and everyone was happy with their meal. Seemed a little pricy but it is pioneer square/downtown Seattle so i guess that is to be expected.

Came here for lunch and Senor Carbon did not disappoint. I got a tuna nigiri roll and trio ceviche and my coworker ordered the lomo sandwich and he said the bread was super soft. My dishes were bursting with flavor! The only down side is that it is a bit on the spendier side. My nigiri was $13 and trio ceviche was $18. Great quality though so worth the money if you're looking for tasty Peruvian food in Seattle.

I love Peruvian food, so was happy to see that there's finally a Peruvian restaurant in Seattle. Although the ultimate experience would be being back in Peru, Senor Carbon was a nice restaurant to transport us back. For my partner's birthday, I made reservations for dinner for the two of us on a Saturday night, which was wise because the place quickly filled soon after we arrived around 7pm. Every table was taken, but because of our reservations, we were able to be seated at the only table by the window. The menu features classic Peruvian dishes we had learned about when in Peru, and I was especially pleased that they had chicha morada here, which is a purple corn drink that's so delicious! They also had their national drink, the pisco sour and the maracuya one, which is my favorite Peruvian cocktail. For food, my partner and I started with the ceviche mixto, which was ceviche of rockfish, octopus and shrimp with Andean corn, kernels and sweet potato. Of all the ceviche, I liked the rockfish the best and it had that zesty, acidic flavor from the lime. I wish the portion had been bigger, especially for $27, but it was good. For entrees, my partner had the lomo a lo pobre and I had the arroz con pato. The Lomo a lo Pobre was like the lomo saltado, a popular classic dish in Peru, but this had a fried egg for that extra oomph. He liked the dish, but wish there had been more steak. My arroz con pato, which is a duck leg that was marinated in corn beer with rice that was also cooked in the corn beer and duck juices. It was perfectly cooked and tender, with a lot of flavor. I enjoyed it. And for dessert, I pre-ordered the chocolate cake, and the restaurant was able to light a candle for the birthday dessert. Fantastic! Overall, it wasn't as great as being back in Peru, but at least it transported us back, even just for a few hours. The food was tasty, but very expensive. Most of the items were about $30. We had a nice time though, with friendly staff and enjoying a cuisine that's not easily found in the Seattle area.

We visited Señor Carbon while working in Seattle. After having our pockets picked by another downtown eatery, we were looking for something more modestly priced and casual. This place is very informal and comfortable located near Pioneer Square on 1st Ave. The menu is a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors including plantains with a heavy emphasis on seafood as you might expect. We went more towards the Peruvian side of the menu although the various sushi offerings looked very delectable. In particular, I enjoyed the Mariscos al curry con ajies Peruanos, a beautifully spicy seafood smorgasboard with shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari. I couldn't get enough of the broth delightfully bright with three different kinds of Peruvian chile peppers tempered with coconut milk. Poured over rice, it was amazing. We also enjoyed the Pasta Huancaina con langostinos, what I think is a Peruvian take on a carbonara featuring shrimp, carrots, peas, and bacon. Yum. The bar has a fantastic assortment of adult beverages and the prices are easy on your wallet. Service was informal but friendly and very fast. Recommended.

Nice lowkey spot for Peruvian food in the Pioneer Square district! I'm a big fan of Peruvian food and it's pretty uncommon so I definitely had to make a stop here. I had the Chaufa con tortilla de Langostinos, which was a fried rice with a shrimp omelette on top, and the Anticuchero roll. I enjoyed the Chaufa, it had a good flavor and tasted very comforting. I wasn't a big fan of the sweet chili sauce on this dish though. The Anticuchero roll was not bad. I was more just fascinated by the amount of sushi options on the menu as I didn't know sushi was part of Peruvian cuisine! There were tons of options, but you could definitely do better than the Anticuchero roll. Prices were pretty high, although not surprising for the city. The sushi rolls are around $22 and the fried rice was $25. My friends ordered Lomo Saltado and they were $28! I'd have a hard time justifying those prices. Service is ok here. Took a while for us to place an order and had to constantly flag down the server for water refills. Restaurant wasn't too busy but there was only one server so it's understandable. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're into Peruvian food or want to give it a try, but it's a bit too pricey for me to become a regular at.

On a recent trip to Vancouver and Seattle, I first tried Peruvian cuisine in Vancouver and loved it. Moving on to Seattle, I wanted more. If nothing else, some more of the refreshing Chicha Morada drink. Both cities were roasting in August, and this Peruvian soft drink sure hit the spot. Señor Carbon is a very attractive restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. The delightful server who was so forgiving of my inability to speak Spanish, helped me to choose Chaufa de Pollo for my lunch. Tasty, satisfying, what more could you ask for? I forgot its name, but how adorable is that llama?

Lovely Peruvian sushi and seafood dishes. Great food after a long walk along the waterfront. Close to the CitizenM hotel where we were staying.

We loved this place. It had great, delicious, high quality food and fast service! Slightly expensive, but worth it!

As someone who is relatively inexperienced with Peruvian food, I was definitely impressed with what I had here! The Paella was delicious and flavorful and a generous serving size! I loved the freshness of the seafood and the perfectly textured rice! The sushi was also fun and an interesting twist on the traditional kinds you'd find in Japan. Service is super friendly and attentive! They're amazing! The ambiance is also bright and festive and there's a fun Alpaca thing at the front of the restaurant that is so adorable!

Senior Cabrone's is a tourist level Peruvian/Japanese restaurant. I can say I ate anything very memorable there on my visit. But clams were good, the cocktail was excellent, and it was fun watching Peruvian tourist tv while I ate.Im sorry, but i wouldn't go back... however if I went back i would ask the staff for recommendations, as they really seemed enthusiastic about the choices. I did not eat the sushi, which was over stockpiled for a big night of baseball fans wandering uptown after their game.

Wow this place was absolutely incredible. I didn't know what to expect as we walked in but immediately we were greeted by a super friendly waitress that seated us quickly. They had a lot of authentic cocktails so I tied the maracuyá sour - it is very different from a whiskey sour - BUT still delicious and in the same spirit of a sour. I'm always hesitant to get octopus because it can be done so badly but I decided to risk it due to the reviews. Glad I did - it was sooo tasty!

As a Peruvian, I felt like I was obligated to review this place on my trip to Seattle for multiple reasons: 1) For an order of lomo saltado with "aji" sauce, $33 is way too much money. Especially for the small portions you get here. You can get at least 2x the amount in Los Angeles. 2) The aji here is not the actual aji sauce that should be served with lomo saltado. (paying extra for this is also a knock on this place) 3) Overall, a very average dish. The fries reminded me of the freezer fries you can buy from the grocery store and the rice was just plain. The meat wasn't bad but the portion size here is just way too small. They even skimp out on the stir fry vegetables you get with this dish. For most people that haven't tried Peruvian before, Lomo Saltado is the usually the first dish they try. And for this place to deliver with this underwhelming version of Lomo Saltado, I would strongly recommend finding another place to get some lunch/dinner in Seattle.

Fiancé and i stopped in while exploring the city and you should to! We had never had Peruvian food before and figured we might as well try it. He had the Combo Señor Carbón (wings,fried shrimp, and fries with an amazing sauce) and I had the Causa de Pollo (a mashed potato cake with chicken, avocado, and a special sauce) and after we saw each-others reaction to the food we ended up sharing. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was all super friendly and well attending. On a side not we wanted to give the chef thanks and it was the owner. He was back there cooking! Amazing! The ambiance was relaxing and calm. Overall 5/5 would be eating here often if we lived in the city! Wish I had more photos but the food was so good we didn't have time.

DELICIOUS! Came by here in the afternoon after walking around Pioneer Square. It wasn't busy at all and we easily got a seat for two. I ordered the arroz con mariscos which was delicious! It was very very hot so had to wait a minute for it to cool off. It was actually way more filling than I expected so I took it home with me. Their menu has so many dishes on it that I definitely want to try and a few I've been craving so I'll be coming here again for sure! So happy I found a Peruvian spot in Seattle!

I love a fusion moment and was curious to see how a Peruvian/Japanese collab translated on plate. Overall, this spot is pretty average - the ambiance, staff experience, food, etc... It was empty upon arrival, which was nice because we were served promptly. The Food: - Lomo Saltado: I asked for medium rare and the meat was over cooked. The flavor was pretty basic and the portions were on the smaller side. I've definitely had way better in LA. - Chaufa con Tortilla de Langostinos: My friend ordered this with the egg/langostinos on the side. The fried rice was solid but the egg/langostinos was pretty blah. Definitely required the sauce that came with it. - Pan con Chicharron: Decent sandwich with a side of sweet potato chips. I wish the pork belly was cooked a little less/was more tender/savory. All in all, not great but not terrible.

Found Senor Carbon which is a block away from Pioneer Square. Hella hungry, there weren't too many items that were low carb so i figured to try this place. Love Peruvian food so why not! Closest thing on the menu that is low carb was ceviche clasico carretillero. Most of the dishes on the menu had rice and/or potato. Ceviche was pretty delicious consisting of fresh rockfish marinated in tiger milk. This dish also came with sweet potato, white corn, Andean corn, fried calamari and sliced onions. Delicious, fresh and tangy. The anticucho de salmon prepared in skewers were perfectly grilled and tasty. Nice cut of fish. Not too lean and had some good salmon fat. Served with a side of aji del casa and grilled veggies, a good healthy option. Service here is average. This restaurant does have some character. Worth a visit if you enjoy Peruvian cuisine.

Service was the worst, food was average. Staff needs to smile and not forget about your costumers. We could easily walk out with anybody noticing. The one star is so I can post this. But you deserve -***

Tempted by Eater and Seattle Times, we ate at "Señor Carbón - Peruvian Cuisine", a new restaurant at the edge of Pioneer Square that serves not just Peruvian food, but also Peruvian Nikkei cuisine. I'm normally NOT a fusion food person, but when we were in Lima, we ate some darn good Peruvian Chinese food, called Chifa. Anyway, I might be harshing their mellow, but... Order the Peruvian food, skip the Nikkei food. Hands down; that's my conclusion. Details below. The place is very new; both the kitchen and service are still rough around the edges. Our entrees arrived before all four of our other dishes. Water was never refilled. They didn't provide starter plates to eat the non-entrée dishes. Etc. We tend to be ok with these details, but they should improve. Their chairs fit strangely with the table, too. The ends of the chair legs flare outwards, such that they can't fit between the table legs. I have to sit far from the table edge or sit forward with an unsupported back during the meal. I hope they'll change the table or chair in the future, and sit on them before buying!! Their food is a solid 3.5 Stars. I decided to round up due to the uniqueness of Peruvian food in this area, and those dishes were well executed. The Food: Lomo Saltado, $24 - 5 Stars Menu: Flank steak seasoned and sautéed over high heat with onion, tomato, a touch of vinegar, oyster sauce and soy sauce, accompanied with rice, French fries and cilantro This was an excellent dish. The flank steak is flavorful and tender. Ordered at medium rare. If it's cooked more, it'lll be tough. Pulpo a la Parrilla, $26 - 4 Stars Menu: Octopus marinated in anticuchera sauce, grilled, served with potatoes sautéed in fine herbs, aji de polleria and finely chopped chalaquita This octopus is very flavorful. I would have liked more char, because the skin ends up with a gooey texture. The positive trade-off is that the octopus is very tender with less char. The portion size is bigger than I expected, too. I brought most of the potatoes home instead. Langostinos al Coco, $10 - 4 Stars Menu: Shrimp breaded with coconut, served with pina colada sauce A fairly basic coconut shrimp. The preparation is well executed, and the sauce is unique. Thumbs up. Tiradito Roll, $18 - 2 Stars Menu: Roll stuffed with shrimp tempura and avocado, covered with fish of the day flamed in sesame oil, topped with aji amarillo sauce and finely chopped chalaquita Now, things go downhill. Their Nikkei food. The "fish of the day" is lower grade, likely albacore. The "flamed" is non-existent; it's not seared at all. The rest of it is a poorly executed dragon roll. The rice is too wet and gooey and lacked vinegar flavor. The extra sauces didn't add flavor value, either. It just made things wetter. At $18, hard pass. I'll get a roll at Japonessa instead. Nigiri Chalaco, $10 - 2 Stars Fresh salmon covered in aji amarillo sauce, crispy quinoa, cilantro and rocoto sauce Nigiri Concha Limeña, $10 - 2 Stars Scallops blown in truffle oil, accompanied with lemon zest and maras salt Both nigiri types suffer the same problem. Both are fancied-up; neither of the fancying upped the flavor. The rice is still too wet, both tasted bland, both needed soy sauce. Better fish quality and portion size can be had elsewhere for the same price. Hard pass again.

Different in the best way possible. Peruvian flavors in a sushi roll. So good, music, vibe, staff, all great. What a nice dining experience we had.

Restaurant was pretty empty on a Tuesday evening so my group was seated fairly quickly. I got the ceviche which tasted fresh. There was a lot of fish and lots of like. The dish came with calamari (this was okay) two types of corn and something that tasted like a variant of sweet potato or some squash but I can't confirm what it was.

Really good food, clean and cozy y place. 10/10 La comida estuvo muy buena, la atención excelente y los platos llegaron rápido.

Fantastic!!! Food was amazingly good. First, the Classico ceviche was mouthwatering. Then the salmon salad was incredible. Great service to boot! Highly recommend!

An interesting mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine - a fusion that works. Reservations are taken by phone and suggested for peace of mind, as the restaurant is mostly tables that seat 2 with just a few that seat 4, and only one that seats a large group. We tried the Causa Crocante Nikkei, Ceviche Clasico Carretillero, A lo Macho Roll, and Lomo Saltado. Causa Crocante Nikkei: potato cakes - this is the highlight of the dishes. The potato cakes are soft yet crispy, with flavor from the tuna and unagi sauce. Ceviche Clasico Carretillero: rockfish ceviche. The rockfish pieces are pretty large, chewy and fresh. The cuts are not really the best, so I expected a bit more for the price. I enjoyed the other stuff in the dish - Andean corn that is pretty huge, some crispy corn kernels, and even some calamari on top. The crispy corn kernels made the substitute for chips that usually you will get with ceviche. A lo Macho roll - this was interesting. There were some Peruvian ingredients to an otherwise Japanese fusion roll. Rice was a bit mushy - kind of reminds me of some grocery store sushi. There is also a bit too much sauce that overpowered the more subtle ingredients. Paying $18 for 10 small pieces is kind of a disappointment. Lomo Saltado - the best part of the dish is the rice - buttery and a bit garlicky. We requested medium rare but got more like medium well, so it is definitely a bit overcooked. Meat was a bit tough and fries were a bit mushy. Overall, I liked the fusion but the execution needs a bit of improvement.

The food was so good here and our sever was super sweet. Appetizers, mains, and dessert were all fantastic. Definitely upscale Peruvian!

Places like this need MORE stars They made me a proud Peruvian today!! Seattle FINALLY has a true culinary gem We were a group of 7, we tried as many dishes as possible from their appetizers, main dishes and desserts, there was not one dish that disappointed. First off we had the Leche de Tigre: AMAZINGGGGG it was full of flavor, spice and you wished it never ended. Next came the Acevichado roll... beautifully made, the Amaru and tiradito rolls were very savory as well. Everything was excellent!!!! Finally a non pretentious Peruvian restaurant. Kudos to the chefs, their flavors are ON POINT! Authentic flavor, great service and pleasant ambiance. My family and I will be coming back for sure

Growing up with two parents born and raised in Peru, I have been dying to have some classic authentic Peruvian food. Today my prayers were answered!! This is one of the best authentic Peruvian restaurants I have found in Washington along side Don Luchos! The flavors, atmosphere, and food selections were spot on. Reminded me so much of the home cooked meals I had back at home :) If you are wanting to experience the flavors of Peru, please come check them out! From the staff to the design, it is amazing to feel like I am home again

Doris "its good" recommended. Here's why I say this....At no fault of the restaurant it's located next to 711. A popular spot for all bums to gather. This is no reflection of the food but 100% made me uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and warm. Service was fast and very efficient. When we walked in there was a large party and one other couple in the whole joint; as we ate the restaurant started to fill up. We ordered all apps and a Coke. Everything was very fresh. The only thing I didn't care for was the coconut shrimp. It wasn't hot enough for me and when I bit Into it, it was watery but had a beautiful coconut finish. I only took a half of bite. It just wasn't for me. Everything else was very tasty. Very fresh. And presented beautifully. Pictures below. Kinda dark with lighting, music is a bit loud but over all a nice meal. Would I go back? Maybe. Would I recommend, yes. It's a nice spot with a variety of foods. Something different to try.

I'm in heaven. I can't say I'm familiar with Peruvian cuisine as I've had no exposure. This restaurant lured me as I love sushi, ceviche, and seafood. Stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon where we were immediately seated and entered food nirvana. The food was incredible. My friend ordered the ceviche mixto - or at least I think he did because one moment the plate was there and the next all the food was devoured. I ordered the Anticuchero Roll and the Nigiri Acevichado minus onion. The Anticuchero Roll was phenom - I've never had tempura salmon before and was surprised how much flavor and tenderness still shined through. But the Nigiri Acevichado was mind blowing. I don't know what acevichado sauce is except it's perfect - salty, tangy, spicy, bright. Shichimi was the spice blend I didn't know was missing in my life. The Andean corn sand added a dimension to the texture and through it all the fish still shined and the rice was perfect. I also tried a few drinks. The Caipirinha was super well balanced. The Machu Picchu was the mintiest drink ever. The Algarrobina was a perfect dessert drink - smooth, sweet, rich. Our waiter described it like Bailey's but personally found it to be better, more flavorful like a cousin who inherited the family's best features. All the drinks were amazing, balanced, and boozier than you would believe on taste alone. Seriously thought it was low octane and seriously was wrong. Thankfully I did not drive! Speaking of our waiter, he was great! Very polite and attentive. I really appreciated him and his patience as I stumbled through pronunciation. The whole experience was great. The food amazing. The drinks superb. It's a gem of a restaurant that simply must be experienced!

Nice staff and delicious fresh food. Joes fries, lomo saltado, and pasta huancaina con langostinos were what we ate and it was all so good. Great alfajores for dessert as well. Come here when you are in pioneer square!

The food was so delicious!! The plantan y yuca was as a great starter and the sauce was so yummy. The lomo saltado was so flavorful. You can tell the workers take a lot of pride in their food and service. I would definitely go back! Que Rico!!

First, the positive: nice atmosphere. Was seated right away; place had only two other tables occupied at 6pm. The staff is friendly. The appetizer was good. A potato cake topped with tuna; it was different, but tasty. Now the bad: Ordered a whiskey sour, $20 and I couldn't taste the whiskey at all, very weak. My wife and I both ordered the flank steak. Though the seasoning was really good, both of our beef was way over cooked and tough. Hers came with rice and french fries, which is really weird to have two starches like that, and neither was good. I had pasta with mine, which tasted like something out of a box. They really need to rethink the side dishes as more than an afterthought, and improve presentation of the food, along with learning how to properly cook beef. Service was also slow and not responsive, even though the place was almost empty and they had plenty of staff. I will not go back.

Awesome food! The ceviche was just like you'd get in Lima. Everything we ordered was great, we'll definitely stop by again.

I had Peruvian ceviche for the first time in Miami and had been looking for it in Seattle since long. When I saw this place pop in for Peruvian cuisine I was so excited. This place definitely did not disappoint with the taste in ceviche. However they were out of lamb, duck or other meats. So very limited options. The chicken in the salad was a little dry. The sushi rolls were okayish. The best dish was the Pollo in their house sauce. Pasta was good for the kiddo. I like that we do have a Peruvian restaurant for representation. But I will keep this as one of my places to visit when nostalgic craving hits.

The food is absolutely fantastic here. The drinks were incredible, and it's a cute environment. Absolutely thrilled to have come here for lunch. The service was good. If I were to offer any critique it would be to a little more prompt about prebussing and getting the check. But the service was very friendly and kind and they treated my 7yo absolutely wonderfully. I would absolutely come here again!

Cute place. Food was delicious. I don't like the location due to Pioneer Square but I'd go back.

Wow wow wow! Best duck I've ever had. Superb! Great cocktails. The sushi roll had amazing textured layers. Service is excellent. Next time we are in Seattle.. we are coming back. Perfection!

You may miss this place as you drive around looking for parking around Pioneer Square. And it does look like a hole in the wall place, though it's quite large inside. But the food is just amazing and really authentic. We wouldn't have known that had we not made a trip to Peru a few years ago. We had: - Pisco sours: They make great cocktails but the sours were the bomb. We drank them like water. - Ceviche Classico: Made with rockfish, they had sweet potatoes, white corn and Andean corn. Just like they make it in Peru. Delicious! - Lomo Saltado: very good - Seco de Cordero: the lamb was falling off the bone and rich in flavor - Aji de Calina - Fried Green Tomatoes

Okayy talk about authentic Peruvian food finally in Seattle! After having lived in Peru a bit, coming back to the PNW was difficult as I knew there were no Peruvian restaurants at all. But seems like finally there is this! Although I no longer live in Seattle I am thrilled that whenever I visit I can come here for some real ceviche. They even have all the Peruvian beers and the pisco sour was delicious. The ceviche was KILLER, with the Inca corn and the marinade was absolutely perfect. The lomo saltado was sooooo good. The meat was tender and seasoned so well and the rice was flavorful and so soft. I just loved everything about the food here

My first time trying Peruvian food and it was incredible!!!! Loved the authenticity of the dishes. Tried the classic ceviche which was super fresh. The corn was huge and had an interesting texture! Also got the steak and a duck rice dish. The duck was soooooo good! It wasn't too fatty and the rice was super flavorful and rich! The service was great as well, pretty fast and servers were patient to explain dishes and give us recs. Definitely recommend this place!!!
