"Like its neighbor Mount St., Sparrow Italia Mayfair is housed in a refurbished Mayfair townhouse, serving as the offshoot of the popular Los Angeles restaurant Sparrow Italia. It’s also the first European location of the American hospitality group Noble 33. The restaurant didn’t skimp on maximizing the space, which includes a ground-level brasserie and seductive bar, an indoor/outdoor terrace dining room, and a top-floor cigar lounge. But its pièce de résistance is the second-floor parlor room, which has a members club atmosphere thanks to its dim mood lighting, flickering fireplaces, and live olive trees. Accompanied by a mix of marble and wood, rich emerald and blue tones, and friendly, personable service, the menu features southern modern Italian cuisine that largely mirrors its L.A. counterpart. Many dishes, including its popular A5 Carpaccio and cacio e pepe, made their way across the pond, while the lobster linguine, monkfish livornaise, and red prawn carpaccio and caviar are exclusive to the location. "Sparrow Italia is very Mayfair. The Italian restaurant has three floors, moody lighting that’ll make your jumper look more Hermès than H&M, and a menu that ranges from caviar to a two-person lobster linguini that should definitely be on your table. It can be a little serious—constant water refills, multiple staff to greet you, and a personal escort to the bathroom—but if you get a table for two in their first floor courtyard-like area, it’s the perfect romantic spot for an anniversary dinner or a special birthday. Sparrow in London is undoubtedly an experience that leaves you speechless. The setting is extremely elegant, meticulously curated, creating a welcoming yet sophisticated atmosphere. The staff is on par with the venue: elegant, professional, and incredibly well-prepared. From the very beginning, we were warmly greeted and felt pampered throughout the entire evening. But the true star of the night was Chef Ivan, who took us on a culinary journey like no other. His ability to blend the tradition of Italian cuisine with the elegance and precision of Japanese cooking is simply extraordinary. Each dish is an explosion of flavors, a perfect fusion of cultures that harmoniously come together. His creations are not only beautiful to behold but absolutely delicious and unique. If you're looking for an exceptional gastronomic experience, Sparow is the place to be. Not only is the food divine, but the experience itself is unforgettable, made even more special by the attention and passion of the entire team. A five-star venue that definitely deserves a visit!

The bone marrow pasta is one of the best pasta dishes I have had. This place is definitely worth visiting. Great service, ambience and food. The only letdown was the tiramisu which just tasted like cream and not much else. I’m sure the other options would have been delicious.

If you are looking for a stunning dining room and dynamite food - Sparrow is worth your time. We ordered at least 8 dishes total and everything was amazing. If this restaurant has a Michelin star I would not be surprised. The service was fantastic and the hostess was warm and friendly. The decor is so well done by a skilled hand. It was every bit the chic London dining experience I was looking for on the first night of our trip. There were at least 2 dining rooms and a gorgeous bar on the main level that is worth a visit alone. The full experience was well worth the price. Thank you Sparrow from the staff to the designer - your hard work is obvious.

Very elegant Italian restaurant. Food is very good, specially lobster pasta. What I didn’t like is that waiters are not very knowledgeable of their food and forget to bring some items requested even though the restaurant was half empty. Otherwise it’s a perfect place for a romantic dinner. They also have beautiful bar as well

Recently visited sparrow Italia Mayfair to celebrate my wife birthday Lunch, we had our experience over the expectation. The atmosphere is very nice and the portions of the foods are so much worth money we spent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning to have a special celebration.

Located in a quaint narrow road in Mayfair, Sparrow Italia was as delicious as it is posh . There are three stories, but we opted to eat in the bar area, We ordered cocktails and food, and each dish was prepared perfectly. The chopped salad offered a well blended mix of spicy, tart and savory. My rigatoni plate was a smooth, creamy tomato sauce, my daughter commented her cacio e pepe rigatoni was yummy, and my hubby loved his monkfish dish. Everything was very nice, and staff quite friendly! Beautiful decor and furnishings, would be a good spot for a date, business dinner or outing with friends!

The food was amazing but the service was less than ideal. The staff treated us as if we were not good enough to dine at their establishment, while we watched them be incredibly accommodating to a birthday celebration for a young girl. We did not skimp on our order either - a nice bottle of wine, appetizer, main courses and a dessert. Perhaps the other party was comprised of locals - and we were simply tourists. Still, I was stunned at the lack of interest in our party.

Such a fantastic experience. We visited London for my daughter's birthday and went to dinner at Sparrow. We had a drink at the bar beforehand and casually mentioned to the bartender that it was her birthday. The staff went out of their way to make it a special night. I'm definitely coming back.

After a full morning of shopping, I stumbled into this little gem tucked away in the small alley in Mayfair. Walking in I thought I was a little bit under dressed, but we were treated absolutely like royalty and we're seated very quickly. I couldn't resist so I ordered a cocktail, and I was surprised on how delicious it was, considering I tried several cocktails while in London, and nothing came close to the one I had a sparrow, we ordered pasta and it was absolutely perfect. The food was outstanding . The ambiance was wonderful. The music was great. It felt very glamorous. I definitely wanted to come back for dinner but I didn't have time but I recommend this place as a dinner experience because of how glamorous and beautiful it is. I walked away wanting more. For Italian it definitely rates an 11! Make the reservation and go!

London. Great views and interesting looking people. However, this restaurant was not a great experience. I came here with my friend the other day and the staff were SUPER rude. Unpleasant faces greeting you at the door and the judgment is off the charts. In particular, the hostess with curly red hair had a very unclassy dress and trashy leather boots. She looked us up and down and then let us in; automatically didn't feel welcomed. Moreover, the other male host was also severely unwelcoming and his hair was unkempt and looked wild. As for the food, it was very mediocre, especially the pistachio pesto pasta. It was stale and tasted rubbery and definitely not al dente. I would definitely give this place a one star if I could, however, the redeeming points were our waiter who was super kind. If I were you, next time visiting London be sure to avoid this treacherous place.
