"GO: for a range of regional Mexican cooking, with influences from the North Pacific to the Gulf. Enjoy it all with Terraza Cha Cha Chá’s stunning terrace view of the Monumento a la Revolución. ORDER THE: seafood, of course! There are cooling ceviches and aguachiles as well as fantastic tacos and tostadas. Don’t skip on the meat though, like the suckling pig’s chamorro, which comes with confit pig leg, cactus salad, pico de gallo, salsa ranchera, and handmade tortillas. And order at least one of the homemade desserts. THE VIBE IS: airy, unpretentious, and fresh. The attention to detail in the design is apparent through art deco architecture, abundance of greenery, and the intimate setup with striking views. PRACTICAL STUFF: Open every day: Monday to Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., and Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The terrace tables are in high demand, so if you want optimal views, make a reservation at least four days prior. That said, the inside is gorgeous too." - Condé Nast

Google
Friendly staff. Well presented food. Nice restaurant. Our first time in Mexico.

Google
Terraza Cha Cha Cha was one of the best place I ate on this trip. The service was excellent from the time I walked in to when I left. The view was great and it's a perfect spot to grab a drink and look out over the city. All of the food I had here was well cooked and had great flavor. The salsa with the chips was especially good. As mentioned before the service was very good here, everything was brought out quickly and it was never hard to ask the staff for anything.

Google
Amazing cocktails, cute vibes, and the lengua tacos and bone marrow were on point. The cauliflower could’ve used more salt. Service wise, they weren’t very friendly nor attentive to my table of two. Kind of felt ignored 🥲 They weren’t that busy either. Which is a shame because I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Overall I’d recommend if you want a nice dinner, drinks, with good views. Just be prepared to be more proactive with your server.

Google
Great food and nice atmosphere. Good views of the revolution monument. Service is quick and attentive. Why didn’t I discover this place earlier 🤔

Google
Absolutely a perfect experience. Our server was top notch. Highly recommend

Google
Service was great. They did mess up the order but weee prompt in fixing it. They did a great job getting a candle and cake for my wife’s bday. Atmosphere was top shelf. Breathtaking views of the monument. Food was a bit underwhelming. Ordered the octopus but it turned out to be a bit overcooked and not as soft as expected. Overall an experience worth it.

Google
Nice place to enjoy the vibe with some view. Foods are good and I like especially Tortilla de Nopal.

Google
Almonte a rooftop with an incredible view of Monumento de la Revolucion. Tasty cocktails with tequila and mezcal. Even though we did not eat the food look really good...

Yelp
Terraza Cha Cha Chá is located in the heart of Mexico City with a stunning view that's hard to beat. However, the food was just okay--personally, I prefer the flavors of authentic Mexican street food. Still, it's a lovely spot for the ambiance and scenery!

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday! The place is a rooftop restaurant overlooking Mexico City so I highly recommend going at night. The food and the drink were great! A little overpriced but considering the location it makes sense! The server was attentive and polite also I asked a lot of questions and he answered every single one of them with genuine! VERDICT: I WILL COMEBACK

Yelp
We had a group business travel dinner here and the food was good, but the service had issues- missing dishes, late dishes that they had apparently left in the pass for awhile, and basically no wanting to sell us alcohol. They did recover on the dishes and the check was accurate by the end, but probably only because we had a very strong Spanish speaker in the group. Really cool view out the windows though!

Yelp
We only came for appetizers and drinks because we had a reservation somewhere else. The food and drinks were so and the staff was very attentive. We were a group of 6. Half of us ordered the quesadilla appetizer which was fire. It was so small, I wish it was a little bigger but again I'm here for an appetizer and not a meal! Drinks were bomb! My friends who ordered the chicharon said it was perfectly crunchy and satisfying (I don't eat pork so I can't attest myself) I would come back here for a full on lunch/dinner next CDMX trip!

Yelp
Beautiful rooftop restaurant with a clear cut menu. My friends, my sister and I came here for our last lunch before heading home. Everyone's plate was beautifully plated. I got the timbal de atún and was not disappointed. Aesthetically and taste wise, it was appealing and refreshing. The servers were attentive.

Yelp
We enjoyed the beautiful view and all that we ate was excellent. Do not leave without tasting the delicious desserts.

Yelp
Mi primera vez aquí y fui para un cumple ... el pulpo fue espectacular WOW! El bone marrow riquísimo. El ultimo día en México fui para almorzar fue la única foto que tomé. This spot has great food it's a must try.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places when I have guests in CDMX. Great views of the monument of the revolution, great service and good food.

Yelp
You have to have the guac with chicharrón. Sooooo good! Obviously the view was stunning. Waiter was super attentive - loved the service.

Yelp
I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME HERE WITH MY FRIEND!!! I made reservations for my friend and I to have brunch here. The view here is amazing and the service was beyond wonderful. My friend and I both decided to get chilaquiles with chicken and we both really enjoyed our dish!!! We also decided to get a bottle of champagne with orange juice and a couple shots of Don Julio 70!!! We were celebrating our friend and life!!! It has been over a year since we have seen each other and we decided to meet up in Mexico City. The perfect beautiful city!!! Terraza Cha Cha Cha was wonderful for our reunion!!! I cannot wait to come back to Mexico City and Terraza Cha Cha Cha!!!

Yelp
Looking for a great dining experience in CDMX? For the view alone, Terraza Cha Cha Cha is worth it! But then you add the food and drinks and it's an amazing place for dinner! We watched the sunset over CDMX while sipping drinks, and as the sun went down, we were treated to the most amazing dishes, from steak to bone marrow, from octopus to soft shell crabs, from tacos to quesadillas, all of it fantastic! I definitely recommend Terraza Cha Cha Cha for the food, the ambience, and the friendly (very patient with our broken Spanish) staff.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
You pay for the view. This restaurant had a very well-decorated, cozy atmosphere. I was expecting a rooftop restaurant but Terraza Cha Cha Cha was even better because it had a roof to provide shade. The view is absolutely stunning! However, no one in my group really liked the cocktails we ordered and the appetizers we got were mediocre. It's a fun thing to do if you are visiting Mexico City but don't go into it with super high expectations.

Yelp
Great view! service with George and staff excellent. I was not daring with the menu items, the shrimp was yummy and mango desert great!
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambiance, service and delicious food. The view is very nice. Relaxing and great place for breakfast

Yelp
Terraza Cha cha cha is situated on a great central area close to the Revolution Monument. It has amazing views for sunset and at night when the monument is illuminated. They offer valet parking and it makes the experience so much more convenient to avoid searching for parking. We came with a large group of 6 and had a reservation, we were seated promptly in a table outside and ordered a bunch of food to share. Highlights of the night included the duck carnitas, grilled octopus, and guacamole with grasshoppers. The drink options and cocktails are also very interesting and delicious , will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Came here with my husband, as were visiting Mexico for the first time . Place was nice , great food and drinks . Our Waiter Armando Rodriguez Blanco was amazing. Very attentive and fast service .
google avatar

José M.

Yelp
Five star service, great view along with fantastic food & drinks reasonably priced. We had the Chamorro and mezcal cocktails
google avatar

Caroline D.

Yelp
Cha Cha Cha has a fun vibe, even if it is a bit touristy and overpriced. The food is hit or miss, but they do have a couple of amazing dishes - namely the quesabirria - which is always phenomenal. It's definitely worth coming for drinks and an appetizer so that you can enjoy the view!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't have enough words to leave a review that will do this place Justice. I flew into CDMX and thanks to Yelp, I found this place located a minute away from my hotel. Although it was packed, I got seated right away with a view overlooking the beautiful Revolution monument. I ordered a few cocktails, the ribeye sope and the short rib entree. All were out of this world. However, it was the dessert that flooded me. I forgot the name of it (I believe something along the lines of Barza de Nara), but it was unlike anything I've ever tried. A sweet roll cake drenched in a light cream and filled and covered with all types of berries. If you're ever in CDMX, especially in the Reforma district, grabbing dinner at Terezza is a MUST!

Yelp
This place was great. I was with some business colleagues in Mexico City and we had dinner here one night. I highly recommend making a reservation as it is a busy place. The view is incredible (bring a sweater) outside on the deck. The service was impeccable and the food was so good. We didn't even remotely finish what we ordered as we wanted to try too many things. Price are fair. Slightly inexpensive compared to a nice US restaurant, but expensive for a restaurant in Mexico. Would definitely be back.
google avatar

Mariana G.

Yelp
I came here to have a drink with a view, since this rooftop bar overlooks the Monument to the Revolution, but unfortunately all the tables with a view of the monument were taken. Despite that, I still had a great time. I tried the Jack Punch cocktail, made with Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple, Mexican ponche, and lime soda. Mexican ponche is a fruit punch made with apples, pears, oranges and guavas and spiced with cinnamon, cloves, tamarind and hibiscus. The cocktail was fruity and sweet -- I couldn't taste any alcohol. This may be overly sweet for some, but I enjoyed it.

Yelp
In town for PAACE, Automechanika Mexico show and stopped here for pre-event dinner. So glad we did because the excellent food here set the positive tone for our stay. Fresh, flavorful, vibrant tastes and colors. Location was rooftop bar/restaurant across from the Mexican Revolution monument. Places like these are usually touristy with marginal food offerings, but not this place. The food here would proudly be served in any fine restaurant globally. No disappointments here. We'll be back!

Bob S.

Yelp
This restaurant was absolutely amazing, we didn't have a reservation but we got lucky and got a table out side with an amazing view of the Monumento a La Revolución our table was facing it. The service staff were very helpful, and helped on the menu, food was unbelievably good we had: 1) Short Rib 2) Quesabirria No matter what you order which I'm sure it would be good you have to try these two dishes. Highly recommend. I wish that we had these food in San Francisco.
google avatar

Caroline G.

Yelp
Came here with friends. I got the shrimp with garlic and chili. Good. My cocktail, which was something with rum in it, was meh. This place was supposed to have a fantastic view, but maybe they seated us on the opposing side, because I didn't really see it.
google avatar

Alexander P.

Yelp
Great view of monumento a la revolución and the service was amazing. Wait staff were attentive to everyone. Definitely worth the visit
google avatar

Yelp
Delicioso!! Very yummy and creative foods! Highly recommend! Don't forget to make a reservation and for a good view I recommend going early
google avatar

Yelp
google avatar

Yelp
OMG OMG! I highly recommend Terraza Cha Cha Cha! From tacos to ribeye steak, everything we ordered taste amazing. It's the only restaurant that I miss from my Mexico City trip! Service was superb too. Our waiter basically stood close by and was attending to our service fairly quickly. View from restaurant was spectacular as well! Conveniently located around a carnival. It was nice to take my son through the carnival street vendors and rides after diner!
google avatar

Javi N.

Yelp
Out of all the restaurants in Mexico City I went to this was my favorite by far. The drinks and food were delicious. Had the Marlin Empanadas, aguachile negro and fish taco. The aguachile negro was interesting but delicious. The views are amazing! The inside is amazing and the service was amazing! Come try and snap some pictures of the city.
google avatar

Bruno B.

Yelp
Went there tonight for a drink and a small bite with my cousin. The place itself was stunning, and the Tostadas we had were outstanding! The Mezcalita de Xoconostle was a lame cocktail, do not recommend. However, the reason I rate this place one star is because both floor manager and our server completely decided to ignore and not once check in with us to see how our food or drinks were. All this because the tables next to us were Americans guests and the other French guests. It is such a shame that Mexicans treat other Mexicans less than not even knowing we're here from New York.

Dave D.

Yelp
SHole where influencers are too self absorbed in conversation to care about the service and don't notice it takes 30 minutes for a waiter to even come to your table. And the waiters will actually start a heated argument with you over a mistake they made (inb4 they say oh you ordered the beer brand ipa but the promotion is for the same brand's lager (not specified on the promotion), despite me just wanting the promotion which they first said was unavailable and then said they could do it after all. The pork was also extremely dry.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a beautiful rooftop with gorgeous views of the monument. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate large groups. The food and drinks are ok. The service is excellent.

Yelp

Yelp
Great drinks, tasty appetizers, and an awesome view of the Monument to the Revolution. Plus the service is great too. The chapulínes in their awesome guacamole served with some of the best tortillas I have ever tasted was my favorite appetizer! The chicharron de pulpo was another great appetizer. I always try to visit here when I'm in the city!

Suzan S.

Yelp
What a find. 4 blocks from our hotel. Views of the sunset were spectacular. The food was great.
google avatar

Leo J.

Yelp
The duck tacos are a must along with the guacamole and chapulines. Memo the bartender made great cocktails. The view of plaza de la República is a plus.
google avatar

Bao Tran N.

Yelp
Their food is amazing! I recommend getting the elotitos tatemados as an appetizer and the fondant de chocolate for dessert. The view is beautiful and the service was great!

Anahid C.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food, drinks, service, view and atmosphere. The wonderful view is over the Revolution monument. Probably a good place to watch the sunset. If you have only a few nights in a Mexico City, this is one dining experience you should reserve. I've had stuffed cheese zucchini blossoms but in an appetizer as a taco, it was delightful. A must order! The Mayan taco with octopus was also delicious. The restaurant makes its own chili sauce in tincture jars. If it's not the views that compels you to visit, it will be the food. Wonderful dining experience. To find the restaurant, you have to walk into a build and take the elevator to the top. You'll see the rooftop from the street.

Yelp
For the money, choices, taste, service, and view, this place is a winner! Enjoyed the great flavor, the prompt and friendly service, and the instagrammable view of the Revolution Monument. I arrived with a meat craving so I resisted some amazing offerings (Pescado Cha Cha Cha sounded really tempting, as did the Cecina Yekapixtla) and went instead for a burger. Yeah yeah, I know, travel all the way to Mexico City to eat a burger. But in my defense, it was pretty awesome! Done just right, sized just right, and served with fresh fries, ketchup, spicy pickles and mustard, it hit the spot! Did I say it was just the right size? I wasn't even able to finish it--it was deceitfully small! The capstone was the scrumptious Brazo de Nata, a roll of fluffy cake stuffed with fresh berries, and covered with a luscious cream and a scoop of ice cream on the side! Wow! This place is a must try!
google avatar

Elise A.

Yelp
So-so food that's over priced, and the service was absolutely awful. I don't understand how they have good reviews on here. Skip this place, there are so many other restaurants in Mexico City that are a million times better.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
We had just arrived in Mexico City from the US, and we were looking for a fun dinner spot on the later side. We found Terraza Cha Cha Cha on Yelp, and it's almost 5 star review and rooftop location pulled us in. What a great place! The view is beautiful, overlooking the Monument to the Revolution. Everything we ordered was really delicious, and so was the tequila! Everyone was so nice, especially our waiter, Jose. We will be back!
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
Beautiful views, excellent service, and good food. Get the qiessemirias, duck tacos were a miss but everything else we ordered was solid.
google avatar

Jackie F.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The view was incredible. The service was a little busy for breakfast but the conchas made up for it. The Nata was great and the mimosas amazing. We went back the next day for breakfast and dinner was even more spectacular. For dinner make a reservation or you will not get a seat.

Kandy C.

Yelp
Amazing food! Unique decor Will definitely be back the next time we're in San Francisco.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Our waiter spoke Spanish and English so it was easy to communicate and he gave amazing recommendations. We had the mezcal hibiscus cocktail which was tasty and a Sauvignon blanc which was crisp and delicious, nice Mexican wine. We got 5 apps and several entrees- everything was fresh and very flavorful. Some of our party can't handle spice at all- some dishes had a slight underlying heat to them- the empanadas and the octopus - for most people would be perfect but if you're super sensitive to spice just be prepared. Very flavorful, great service, fun music and party vibes!
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
The food is so tasty, simply delicious! I went there for a late lunch and got seated at the bar, which is good since I was alone. Next time I'll definitely go earlier for the tables with the view because it's beautiful. Colorful and happy atmosphere!
google avatar

Ilse V.

Yelp
Came here for dinner once while I was staying at a hotel around the corner. I made my reservation online. Upon arrival, I checked in with the desk in the lobby and they took us upstairs in the elevator. The restaurant has a beautiful decor, large and modern bar and of course a gorgeous view on the Revolution Monument. We had shrimp tacos as an appetizer, a burger and steak for main course and flan and cake for dessert. We also had wine, cocktails and coffee. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even though we barely spoke Spanish, the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend coming here during your CDMX visit!
google avatar

Chloe T.

Yelp
Ambiance was good! Loved their lively choice of music. I enjoyed my duck tacos and chocolate porter artisanal beer. Servers were pretty nice! Only con: the entire restaurant has only one English menu.
google avatar

Subiya K.

Yelp
We came here for lunch on our first day in Mexico City and it was nothing short of amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about their tacos. I can't believe anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. In fact, I went to Pujol & Amaya but I still miss the food from this place more. They're the most perfect tacos. My favorite were the fish tacos. Delicioso! There's a beautiful view of Mexico City from the terrace, but the indoor seating is just as lovely. The staff is warm, friendly, and serve to please. The manager Esteban is a fabulous guy who really goes out of his way in his recommendations and in ensuring you have a good dining experience. Bravo! A gem of a restaurant.
