"An expansive rooftop restaurant transplanted from Mexico City is slated to open in the Arts District and has been billed as one of the year’s most anticipated openings. After pandemic-related construction delays it now aims to debut before year-end, with most major work completed and final interior and exterior touches underway. Much of the seating is outdoors, allowing for about 160 diners while maintaining socially distanced layouts and more than 300 at full capacity, which would make it one of the neighborhood’s largest new venues. The second-story perch is planted with lush greenery to shade guests and provide a clear view of Downtown’s buildings, and executive chef Alejandro Guzman, formerly of Le Comptoir and Fabby’s, will lead a menu inspired by the Mexico City original but adapted for the LA dining scene." - Matthew Kang
