"The Table was years ahead of its time when it opened in Mumbai, introducing terms like “farm-to-table” and “cuisine agnostic” to a city that had never heard them before. Since the restaurant opened, the fine dining culture in the city has advanced by leaps and bounds. Owned by Gauri Devidayal and Jay Yousuf, the Table still has it. Standouts on the menu include the yellowfin tuna tataki, boneless chicken wings, and blackened Norwegian salmon." - Sumedh Natu

"In a sea of Mumbai restaurants serving globally-inspired menus, The Table stands out for its flavour, but also for its consistent farm-to-table approach for over a decade. A lot of the restaurant’s produce comes from The Table Farm a ferry ride away in Alibaug, while the fish and meat is sourced fresh in the city. The menu, which largely features shareable plates, takes inspiration from different corners of the world, from Thailand and Japan to France and the Americas. Dig into sophisticated plates—like their signature ginger glazed boneless chicken wings, the aptly named Sobo Salad with Hass avocado and greens and succulent lamb ragout with pappardelle pasta—in an easy, casual fine-dining setting, all at a stellar location right behind the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Colaba, Mumbai." - ByArundhati Ail

It is no surprise that they were No 2 in the list of 50 best restaurants in India. The food and service were excellent. We ate a range of dishes and each one was as good as the next. We topped it off with a passion fruit dessert which was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Definitely worth a trip to The Table. We'll be back!!!

Recommend to reserve and go. Valet parking available There is a seating on the ground floor as well as on the 1st floor accessible through a wooden staircase. In case of mobility challenges do mention your choice of sitting downstairs. The decor is a combinations of modern and traditional. The huge chandelier like lights form the ceiling was very classy and stylish that caught my attention. It’s a fine dining restaurant and thus the waiters are extremely warm and helpful. I visited with my daughter and were eagerly looking to chat up. The music was low that indeed allowed us to have a nice conversation along with the food. We started with chicken wings that was served in bbq sauce and was yummy. We followed it with Lasagna Verde which had quite a handsome serving of cinnamons that had a lasting effect on the tongue and was quite enjoyable. It’s actually served over a large leaf that kind of melts in the mouth. Very different and something I liked Finally we ordered a full roasted hen which was delicious. Last but not the least we ordered a Tiramisu cake to end the day on a high. I would surely recommend the place to celebrate any special occasion. The pricing is benevolent so expect a minimum of 5k for 2 person

The Table in Colaba is a gem of fine dining, conveniently close to the Gateway of India. The ambience is enchanting, customer service is impeccable, and the food is simply delectable. While the pricing leans towards the higher end, it's a must-visit for all food enthusiasts. Highly recommended for a memorable culinary experience!

Amazing food. Many of the dishes are not what you'd find commonly elsewhere. Some of them are just excellent. Premium ambience. Good service. Expensive restaurant but worth every penny if you've ordered the right dishes.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at The Table, and I have to say, it was truly a culinary experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, which immediately set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The service was impeccable from start to finish, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and always on hand to answer any questions or make recommendations. The food was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was expertly crafted and beautifully presented, with a focus on high-quality ingredients and inventive flavor combinations. The standout dishes for me were the crab cake and lamb ragout. Of course, a fine dining experience wouldn't be complete without exceptional desserts, and they did not disappoint in this regard. The Tiramisu is to die for and the portion was humungous. While The Table is certainly on the pricier side, the experience is well worth it for anyone looking for a special occasion or simply an unforgettable meal. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I can't wait to go back again.

Delicious food presented elegantly and stylishly. My favorites were the salads, which were really creative and tasty, followed by the pastas. Also anything with bread was superb: they seem to bake everything freshly in-house. Cocktails were nice, but a bit pricey

The brunch menu is not exhaustive but most dishes we ordered were quite good. The ambience was nice. What was good: Pulled Pork Benedict, Mushroom Ragout, Hassleback Potato, Biscuit and Gravy What we didn't like: soft shell crab. Cocktails were good, though we didn't go for it but their wine menu is one of the best in town.
