"One of Prague’s most promising additions, Výčep is a modern Czech pub from the Kolektiv restaurant group (also responsible for contemporary Czech concepts like Meat Beer and Nejen Bistro), plating an updated take on Wallachian (North Moravian) food. Chef Jirka Hrachový has helmed the 60-seat eatery since it debuted in Prague’s Vinohrady district in December 2018. The chef crafts thoughtful interpretations of traditional Czech cuisine, using great local and seasonal ingredients. As an amuse, Hrachový might serve an aged slice of Prague ham, and from there, guests can dive into hearty, beef-friendly plates of unctuous baked bone marrow decorated with wild garlic, chives, and preserved currants, or grilled pork tongue with dill and onion jam. The best meal we had in Prague. We ordered the tomato salad as a starter along with the liver on milk bread. Following that we had the duck dumpling and the beef rib. Everything was perfection with such a good depth of flavor. The service was top notch and everyone was very attentive. Highly recommend making the trip to this place as it was very memorable! We will come back next time we are in Prague!

We went there for lunch. The portions are rather on the smaller side and the prices on the higher side, but at least the quality is good. I ordered trout, which was very well prepared and tasted excellent. The second dish was rabbit. No complaints there either. Everything as it should be. The service is nice, the place is clean and can be appealing. It's worth it if you're not looking for quantity but quality in a restaurant.

Great food. Service is nice and friendly, during busy hours they seem to be a bit short. Ambiance is nice but getting too loud to talk :) Definitely recommend the place for nice modern Czech food experience, with friendly stuff.

Coup de cœur - We had the pleasure of going to Vycep during our trip to Prague. And it didn't let us down. The service was really great, friendly staff and helpful when explaining the menu. The food was excellent and special, definitely the best meal we had during our trip. Delicate, with personality, fresh, and a true blend of tastes and textures. Special mention for the starters. Thank you, when we come back to Prague we will visit again.

Delicious food!!! The mushroom soup was unbelievable. I got the potato dumpling stuffed with duck. The purple cabbage and the gravy on the side was amazing. My husband had steak with foie gras. Usually he doesn’t enjoy Czech food that can be very heavy but the food here was all flavored just right. The salad was also great. We went around 13:00 on a weekday and had plenty of seats. We had a big stroller and they kindly let us sit in the back. Our baby was sleeping and was grateful that there was no loud music. Staff were very kind. It took about 20 plus mins for food to be served but the wait was so worth it. Will definitely come back. Next time I need to try their beer which looked very fresh!

Výčap is restaurant with great retro vibe, and pleasant service. Chef will attack your senses with nice and fresh spin on local Czech cuisine. Strongly recommend for visitors to try this one rather than tourist traps in the city center.

This was a wonderful dining experience—a small restaurant offering a modern take on Czech cuisine. The beef tongue with apple was exceptional as was the house salad which contained some of the sweetest and juiciest tomatoes I’ve ever eaten. My mains were the pork stuffed dumplings and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and well trained. The prices are certainly above average for Prague , but this establishment does offer a finer dining experience than most places. We enjoyed our evening here and would happily come back.
