"Cedric and Ochi Vongerichten have gotten a water view and dazzling sunsets, relocating their summer stint of Wayan and Ma-De to EHP Resort and Marina, where diners can even pull up in their boats. Vibrant French Indonesian flavors enhance dishes like pork ribs with soy-tamarind glaze and sesame seeds; whole black sea bass with sambal tomat; and crab fried rice with kerupuk and cilantro. A sunset menu offers oysters and other light bites." - Beth Landman

Its been more than 20 years since I've been to Bali, and some of these flavors took me back. We are all so pleased with our dining experience, we will be back before the end of our stay. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming and each dish was absolutely exquisite. When we could go anywhere, visiting the same place twice in one week speaks volumes.

I’ve been out in the Hamptons for about a month now, eating out almost every night — and Wayan & Ma·dé Out East was far and away the best restaurant I’ve been to. The food was unreal: grilled pork ribs that fell right off the bone (so yum!). The fluke crudo tasted incredibly fresh. Both the corn dumplings and corn fritter were standouts. We also had a beautiful mango salad, perfectly tender fried squid, richly flavored eggplant, and even the coconut rice was a highlight. Don’t even get me started on the desserts — they tasted too good. Seriously. Service was great, the sunset view was beautiful, the seating was super comfortable, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between relaxed and refined. We sat in an outdoor room that was air-conditioned — just a perfect experience all around.

I’ve eaten here twice now. And I have to say, the service and food are 10/10. I first sat at the bar, and Eric took care of me, his drinks were spot on and on time given how busy they were. Not to mention the nice conversation towards me and my partner. Second time it was my anniversary, the staff was very accommodating with the special occasion. Glass of bubbly and a dessert for the lovely couple🥹. Definitely made our night special. The lobster noodles are ALWAYS my go to! They had a razor clams special, it should definitely be a menu item for the summer. TO DIE FOR! I will be back!

I love everything about this restaurant! Make sure to visit while you're Out East!! The people were very welcoming from the entrance, the vibes of the restaurant is perfect especially for summer - I believe they also curate the songs carefully. The food, oh the food is the one that makes me want to return. The flavor is so bold and creative! My favorite will be the Tuna Tartar, Lobster Noodle no doubt, Corn Fritter, and the Fresh Berries!!

My experience here was outstanding. The location has a great vibe and a great view. Unlike many of the manhattan imports the beachy vibe of Bali translates well here to the beach feel out east. The food is just as good as the NYC location, the lobster noodles, the pork ribs, the cocktails, etc are all outstanding. The owners who run the kitchen and front of the house are there making it feel like a locals spot who put in the time and effort to make sure everyone gets the best food and hospitality. They have a great bar scene and it’s also excellent for larger groups. Can’t wait to go back.

We ate outside with our yellow lab at a high top. Unfortunately it was in the sun and quite hot. We asked to be moved to the shade but it was not possible. However, the food was amazing, the service was incredible and they could not do enough for us!! The manager came over to chat with us and he sent over a slushee made with Rose’ to help us cool off, then corn fritters with our dinner that were so delicious that I’m still thinking about them, and lavender ice cream alongside our dessert! We ordered the Spring Rolls and Sashimi to start, the Lobster noodles, the ribs, the Asian rice with an egg on top and chocolate mousse with avocado ice cream. My Cosmo was excellent (& I’m a Cosmo snob) and the entire staff made our dining experience there unforgettable! I can’t wait to go back the next time we take our boat there from Connecticut!

Absolutely amazing food. Wayan x Ma•dé Out East brings a refreshing burst of bold, vibrant flavors to the Hamptons dining scene. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. Love the unique Indonesian cuisine with French touch! The ambiance is effortlessly chic yet welcoming, with beachy vibes perfect for a summer evening. The staff is warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special from start to finish. An incredible addition to the East End—whether you're a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!

We had eaten at the Wayan popup last year on Race Lane but really enjoyed the waterside setting this summer. Food was excellent. We had the avocado cocktail and it was perfection. Fluke sashimi was tender and beautifully seasoned. Squid had a bit too much batter on it versus squid for us though it was tasty. My husband enjoyed his butterfish. The standout was the black sea bass, perfectly cooked with a crispy skin and a killer citrus sauce. Yum. We were lucky to sit outside at a high top with a pretty view over the marina. Super waitress Rainah was friendly and charming. Even if the food sucked we would probably go back just to chat with her. I hope they can make this a permanent fixture in EH.

Yelp
We went here a couple weeks ago at 5pm on a friday night. We took the early resy as we were just wanting to try Sunset Harbor. We were seated in the indoor patio area as they said the outdoor area was reserved for parties larger of 6 (except for the high tops). It was very hot in the indoor area I would recommend taking the high top if given the option. The service was great. Very fast and friendly, however I am unsure if this is a valid complaint but the service was almost too fast, we finished our meal in around an hour which just seemed a little rushed. We started off with the spicy tuna crispy rice and the spicy king crab crispy rice. Both were so good, but the tuna was slightly better as it usually is. I was told not to order the tacos as they come with little to no fish and that appeared true as the table next to me got them. We moved on to the glazed pork rib, yellowtail roll, california roll, and a salmon roll. The pork rib was tender but lacking flavor, however the rolls were really good. My favorite sushi in the hamptons is probably suki zuki, however, I don't think that any hamptons sushi is worth it as it is expensive and not great. This was some of the best I have had, better than sen in my opinion. The drinks were also very good. I dont know if I will be back as it is very far from me and bougie, but definetly great for a special occasion, if you sit outside.

Yelp
5 stars for the staff and the vibes! Everyone who works here is so genuinely kind and it really made our experience more enjoyable. Beautiful views of the harbor - book for sunset. We came on a Saturday evening and they had dueling pianos all night which was so much fun. The performers were active with the crowd and everyone was involved. I suggest sitting away from the music if you are looking to talk because it is very loud. The food was good but not out of this world. We had the calamari, a spicy salmon roll, edamame and a salad. They were accommodating for a gluten allergy and it is fairly reasonably priced considering the location. A much cheaper option than Si Si which is also oh three mile harbor

Yelp
Stay away. The service and ambiance was horrible. If you make a reservation you expect to be seated at a table, however they asked us if we wanted to seat at the bar.. second we waited for over an hour for our appetizers. It never arrived but the main entree did. I forgot to mention the drinks, our expresso martini had lots of bubbles and was not consistent with the other patrons, and when I asked to have it remade,it took more than 20 min, only to have Alex, the mgr to be condescending and leave us with new martinis that had no beans and tasted worst than the first. Overall poor experience and will never return. Very bad attitude and not accommodating or care about patrons.

Yelp
Excellent service tasty food friendly staff More than worth the trip! Enjoy a special experience

Yelp
There was no tuna to speak of in the tuna tacos!! Live in the neighborhood and the food has gone downhill. Offered us another order, but not the point Martini also not really shaken:(

Yelp
Where do I start, the view is absolutely amazing and the food even better. The servers are always on top of everything. The staff is super nice and hostesses are always accommodating. Recommend to anyone families, couples, big groups.

Yelp
We actually had a good laugh here, got there just when it opened and just sat at the bar. The place rapidly and vapidly turned into a zoo. It's muppet centrale. Lots of air kissing and dudes looking like absolute tools. Dress your age guys. Jeez. Anyway we were okay, get there early have a couple of drinks, have a laugh at all the people who came out from "The City" and thank your lucky stars that you are not part of that crap anymore! Some "famous" dude was there when we went, serving free expresso martini cocktails. You too could rub shoulders with this crew and it would rub off on you, and you would be cool.

Yelp
Such a fun place. Love the games for the kids and all the outdoor access! Great food and drinks.

Yelp
Love! Great sushi and live music. We came for happy hour and staid for dinner, incredibile sunset!

Yelp
Never got even so much as a drink order taken after sitting down for 30+ minutes. Ultimately, we left before even trying the food (or drinks). The hostess and other staff were kind and apologetic, but it's a shame given the beautiful location and the great reviews of its former establishment. Left with a bad taste in our mouth and no food in our stomachs on a Saturday evening.

Yelp
Omg, this place isn't a real restaurant or bar. So sad that this used to be a fun restaurant back when it was harbor bistro. Friday night from 6 to 8 the place was empty except for 2 sad tables of adults hosting kids staring at screens. Totally missing a soul. Food was bad. Drinks were weak. Music was somehow both insipid and irritating. This change is a prime example of developers ruining the springs. Please get an actual restaurant person to take this place over. The locale and space are too nice to be wasted this way. P.s. whoever made the changes has TERRIBLE taste. Let someone else make all the decisions from now on ok? You've done enough damage and it's clear you're not making money on this place and have ruined a nice neighborhood spot.

Yelp
The highway compliments to this team! Beautiful experience in the middle of a Sunday. As a service professional myself I have to say this hit all the marks. Nice easy lunch. No rush. No loud music. Just the food (that stands for itself) and the warm and welcoming staff. The highlight is the service. Absolutely a shining star! Xoxo

Yelp
Ordered the burger , pretty tasty and my wife ordered the market price fish which was a branzino and escarole salad. No price offered and I figured I wouldn't ask because i mean how much could it be?... the bill arrived and $120 for the fish. A single serving. Not for two! We paid of course but the waiter really should have mentioned the cost. Won't go back.
