Visiting Mattachioni is like stepping into a cozy little corner of Italy. The moment you walk in, the warm and inviting aroma of wood-fired pizza transports you back to your childhood and the special memories associated with it. From the charming venue to the attentive staff, the atmosphere at Mattachioni is one of its main draws. The food is wonderful, and the pizzas are a real highlight. Perfectly cooked with a thin but light crust, the pizzas have great flavour and the toppings are fresh and original. There's a good selection on the menu, but if you're after something different, you might have to order off-menu as the toppings remain the same. Despite this, the pizzas are truly delicious, and the sardines are a must-try. Overall, Mattachioni is an inviting and homely restaurant in the trendy part of town. The warm service, the great atmosphere and the excellent food more than make up for any lack of toppings. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner for two or a casual family lunch, Mattachioni is sure to provide a classic Italian experience.
