It was decorated with vibrant paintings, played Brazilian music, and sold a variety of sweets and Brazilian desserts. But what truly made it famous was the feijoada – the traditional Brazilian dish – and the café soon became known as Feijão do Luís, in honor of its founder Luiz de Souza. More than just a café, Feijão do Luís became a meeting point for Brazilians in London."
