"Villa di Maser, an elegant Palladian villa, with its wide portico and interiors filled with Veronese frescoes, is just as architecturally interesting as the others in the region. But it's also a working vineyard, with wine tastings and farmhouse tours on offer as well. It's open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays, from April to October, and advance booking isn't necessary unless you're with a larger group. For those who cringe at the idea of yet another tour, the fact that the villa is also a working vineyard will make this one more interesting." - Andrea Whittle
