How Pullman Porters Influenced a Generation of Black Train Travelers

"The site of the Pullman Company's headquarters in Chicago was designated the Pullman National Monument in 2015 by the U.S. National Park Service, preserving one of the first planned industrial communities in the U.S.; it is now home to the new Pullman National Monument Visitor Center and the Pullman State Historic Site, which officially opened in August."
