"Beacon Hill Park is a lovely park that leads down to a beach. Pretty gardens and well-maintained footpaths are perfect for a stroll (or a horse-and-buggy ride) to see the roaming peacocks. How long you’ll want to spend here depends upon the season: Spring brings beautiful wildflowers and roses, while summer is the perfect time to enjoy the water parks, especially if you have kids in tow, and concerts on the bandshell. Any time of year, wander the footpaths to enjoy the lovely and peaceful vistas." - Liz Humphreys
