JA Palm Tree Court

"How did it strike you on arrival?Located on a private beach, JA Palm Tree Court channels the vibe of an exclusive villa. It’s situated outside of Dubai’s city center, but the manicured grounds and spacious rooms (some with outdoor terraces and beach views) make it worth your consideration. Plus, it’s much quieter than comparable properties on Jumeirah. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Families and groups of multi-generational travelers. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Compared to other options in Dubai, JA Palm Tree Court’s room are downright massive. The Beachfront Junior Suite has a spacious sitting area, full-sized desk, and large built-in wardrobe. Decor and furnishings aren’t winning any awards anytime soon, but the style is reasonable with brown and magenta accents. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Crisp cotton bedding, comfy mattresses, and a wide assortment of pillows to choose from. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? The all-inclusive package doesn't include items from the mini-bar—a stingy price gouge for a luxury property. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. The bathrooms are outfitted with his-and-hers sinks, walk-in showers, bidets, and soaking tubs, plus fluffy towels and Elemis products. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word? The free Wifi can be hit or miss in certain rooms. Don't stay here if you need reliable service for work. Room service: Worth it?All-inclusive packages don’t include room service, which is pricey. If you do order, stick to breakfast and eat it on your terrace. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?The housekeeping staff regularly goes above and beyond. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The property goes out of its way to appeal to families, with extensive activities for kids and teens, as well as water sports and horseback riding. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?If you’re a couple of honeymooners looking for romantic tranquility, you might want to look elsewhere—families rule the day here. Bottom line: worth it, and why? It’s outside of Dubai, but if you’re dreaming of an all-inclusive with a private beach and abundant pools, it’s a wise choice." - Laura Ratliff
