"Perched high in the hills near Santa Gertrudius, this family-run ’60s-era boutique—first on the island to gain luxury status—feels like old Ibiza: tranquil, bohemian, and deeply connected to nature. The terrace’s panoramic ocean views and a peanut-shaped pool naturally slow the pace, and every one of the 75 rooms faces the sea. In my spacious white suite, I split time between the indoor and outdoor hot tubs, lingered over coffee and a book on the terrace each morning, and watched sunset at the restaurant alongside locals and visitors while enjoying delicious, locally driven dishes I’d happily recommend. The spa’s Ibiza Experience massage and a unique eight-stage hot tub circuit (about 45 minutes) come with horizon views and are a perfect recharge after the morning hikes or yoga on the hotel schedule." - Sarah Leigh Bannerman
