"While each of United’s lounge spaces has its charm, my MileagePlus gold status only gets me access on international flights. So my new favorite hack is to just plug my membership number into the reservations for United’s speakeasy restaurant (yes, there's a secret restaurant in Terminal C—read about it here) and see if I can snag a spot at Classified, run by OTG. (It’s easier than you think!) While you will still have to pay for your meal, I’ve visited three times and it always comes out less than a one-time United Club pass at $59. Plus, I can pay with miles. With only 32 seats and two private restrooms, it arguably offers more peace and quiet than any lounge at Newark every will."
