"Stone Mountain Park gets its name from the 800-foot dome-shaped mountain at its center. The park spans 3,200 acres and is one of the most popular destinations in Georgia. Visitors can rent or bring their own RV, or choose one of the site’s yurts or safari tents. Between the park’s seasonal festivals and outdoor recreation, there’s a lot to see and do. Campers can catch a firework show on the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekend, see life-size dinosaur replicas, or take a boat out on Stone Mountain Lake. If you forget anything at home?
