"The Auld Dubliner is one of those pubs that seems too good to be true. A classic, old-school Dublin boozer with its exposed brick walls and its original walls, it’s easily spotted in the thumping heart of Temple Bar: the side of the building is festooned with a mural of a beer-bellied docker in a captain’s hat, who's amiably watching a dog lift his leg and take care of business against the wall of a pub identified as the ‘Auld Dubliner.’ Inside, there’s live music virtually all day, a mixture of traditional and contemporary.
