Where to Find Iceland’s Most Exciting New Geothermal Pools

"Opening in February 2022 in Akureyri, Skogarbod, also known as the Forest Baths, overlooks one of Iceland’s longest fjords. It is surrounded by birch and pine trees, providing shelter from harsh winds. Guests can forest bathe and soak in a natural geothermal lagoon with pool bars. The journey through the forest to the spa reveals a wood-clad building set into the mountainside, offering fireside dining with views over the bay and Akureyri."
