These events are highlighted among many other food and wine centric events held at the beautiful tasting room in addition to year round complimentary barrel tasting. With 220 acres, including 42 of which are planted vines, with various micro climates, there are 16 different varietals planted on the estate. Renowned winemaker Marco Cappelli and his protege, Fernando Abarca, are masters at creating bold and elegant hand crafted wines that blend new and old world techniques.

Skinner Vineyards makes hand-crafted Rhone-inspired Wines that characterize the Sierra Foothills. When the Skinner Family discovered that their ancestors established and ran the original J. Skinner winery in the area from 1861 through the early 1900's, they resurrected the family legacy and created the Skinner Vineyards and Winery of today.
